When Lin Jinshu arrived at the hospital the next day, Song Yawen was already half lying on the hospital bed.
The smell of disinfectant filled her nostrils, but the mixed fragrance of flowers coming in from the window was not very annoying.
Song Yawen tucked her short black hair behind her ears and stared out the window in a daze.
A bit of determination appeared on that handsome face.
"Miss Song." Lin Jinshu put the fruit in his hand on the cabinet beside the bed, then found a stool and sat down.
Song Yawen also turned her head slightly and said softly, "Miss Lin, you are too polite. Just call me by my name."
She looked at Lin Jinshu. This girl had a natural aura that made people want to get close to her.
He stared at the jade pendant on her neck and asked curiously, "Miss Lin, where did you get this jade pendant?"
Lin Jinshu couldn't help but put his hand on the jade pendant, and raised the corner of his mouth slightly: "This is a relic left to me by my father."
"Sorry if that offends you."
Song Yawen had no choice but to speak. After all, she didn't know what was going on in Lin Jinshu's family, and she accidentally brought up someone else's sad story.
"Actually, we are quite similar. I think Miss Song is definitely not an ordinary person. Her temperament is definitely more than just that of a housewife." Lin Jinshu chuckled.
She looked at Song Yawen. Her eyes were empty and lifeless the day before, but today they were filled with a firm and bright light.
She couldn't adapt so quickly, at least not herself.
Secretary Lin Jin remembered that it took her almost a month to get over the death of her parents.
This woman should definitely not be underestimated.
Song Yawen closed her eyes, and a hint of self-deprecation appeared on her lips.
He sighed and said, "No matter how glorious it was, that was in the past."
"People's abilities won't change. No matter what they were like before, I believe as long as Miss Song is willing, her achievements will definitely be higher than before." Lin Jinshu's words were both encouragement and a test, or perhaps an invitation.
"Ms. Lin, please accompany me for a walk." Song Yawen looked at Lin Jinshu and said.
Lin Jinshu asked worriedly, "Can you do this?"
There was no problem going out for a walk, and the sun was shining brightly outside, but she was worried that Song Yawen's body couldn't handle it.
Song Yawen placed her calloused hands on Lin Jinshu's hands. She had originally cut her hair short for her child because she was worried that it would be inconvenient to take care of the child when her hair grew longer. However, she didn't expect that her child wouldn't even have the chance to see the world.
"I'm not that weak." Song Yawen said as she got off the bed. Her legs were even trembling as she stood on the ground.
"Ms. Lin, can I call you Jinshu?"
The two of them were walking in the hospital corridor when Song Yawen suddenly spoke.
Lin Jinshu was of course happy to agree: "Of course!"
Just as the two were talking and laughing, Lin Jinshu suddenly saw a familiar figure in front of him.
"Second Aunt? Why are you here?" Lin Jinshu looked at the woman wearing a hat and sunglasses with surprise.
She would not easily mistake Xu Wenhui's figure. Besides, if she remembered correctly, this was the obstetrics and gynecology department, and Xu Wenhui's secretive look made her unable to help but guess some things.
After hearing the word "Auntie", Xu Wenhui subconsciously put her hands holding some documents behind her back, and then turned to look at Lin Jinshu.
