Do you know you are wrong?

Do you know you are wrong?

Lin Xueyin was forced to tilt her head back, meeting Song Zhiyuan's deep, unfathomable eyes. In the moonlight, his angular face was half hidden in shadow, half outlined by the moonlight, creating a cold, hard line. The contrast between the coolness of his fingertips and the scorching heat in his gaze left her feeling unsure.

"Do you know you're wrong?" He asked again, his tone still calm, but the ending tone dropped slightly, carrying an unmistakable oppression.

Lin Xueyin's heart nearly beat out of her chest. Fear wrapped around her like a vine, suffocating her. She knew that simply admitting her mistake was meaningless. He saw through everything about her, including her attempts to escape.

She swallowed hard, avoiding the core of his question, and answered with a weak, flattering tremor, "I...I shouldn't have gone to the county town without telling you. I made you...worry."

She tried to downplay "escape" as "not informing whereabouts" and tried to soften his possible anger with "worry".

Song Zhiyuan heard this, and a hint of helplessness flashed through his eyes. His thumb gently stroked the delicate skin of her chin, not with much force, but with a sense of irresistibility.

"Worried?" He repeated the word, his voice low and hoarse. "I am very worried."

He leaned over, close to her ear, and his warm breath sprayed on her sensitive earlobe: "I'm worried that you will encounter danger and be wronged outside."

Lin Xueyin shuddered, her face turning even paler. She subconsciously tried to break free, but his other arm gently grasped her waist.

"It seems," he said, with a barely perceptible sigh in his voice, "that I haven't done enough to make you want to leave."

Before he finished speaking, he gently picked her up and carried her sideways.

"Song Zhiyuan! Where are you taking me?" Lin Xueyin looked at him in panic.

Song Zhiyuan did not answer. He held her and walked steadily towards the old warehouse behind the village where they had once taken shelter from the rain.

It was quiet and deserted there, with only moonlight pouring in through the dilapidated window frames.

The moonlight was like water, coating everything in the barn with a layer of silver. He gently placed her in a corner covered with clean straw, and the rustling sound of the straw was particularly clear in the silent night.

Lin Xueyin huddled in the straw, like a frightened deer, watching him warily. The moonlight shone on her pale face, and her almond-shaped eyes, always misty, were now filled with fear.

"What...what do you want to do?" Her voice trembled.

Song Zhiyuan stood before her, his tall figure casting a shadow in the moonlight, completely enveloping her. His eyes were deep, filled with a complex emotion she couldn't understand.

"I want you to understand," he said in a low, firm voice, "from now on, your only destination is me."

He leaned over, his hands resting on the straw beside her, trapping her in his presence. Lin Xueyin could feel his warm breath brushing against her cheek, with an irresistible force.

"I won't let you out of my sight again," his voice was filled with unquestionable determination, "From now on, your joys and sorrows will only be related to me."

Lin Xueyin couldn't hold back her tears anymore and rolled down. She pushed his chest hard, but it was like a mayfly trying to shake a tree.

"Why..." she asked, choking back tears, "Why do you do this to me?"

Song Zhiyuan's gaze seemed particularly deep in the moonlight. He stared at her, as if he wanted to engrave her appearance in his heart forever.

"Because from the first moment I saw you, I knew," his voice was soft, but with undeniable seriousness, "you were destined to be mine."

His fingertips gently stroked her cheek, wiping away the burning tears. This action should have been gentle, but because of his dominance, it carried a heart-pounding possessiveness.

"After tonight," his voice was low and firm, "you'll understand."

Moonlight streamed through the window lattice, casting dappled shadows across the warehouse. Lin Xueyin stared at the powerful man before her, knowing she had nowhere to turn. His gaze was like an invisible net, trapping her tightly, leaving her unable to escape.

That night, under the moonlight in the old warehouse, the two hearts found a delicate balance between resistance and closeness.

"From now on," he whispered in her ear, "you will be mine only."

This time, his voice was no longer forceful, but held a genuine promise.
