"It's okay, I'm just going to the restroom."
As soon as Fu Yu entered the restroom, the lights went out.
Suddenly, the door to the innermost cubicle opened, and Palend walked out.
"Ms. Fu, it's been a long time."
"You've made me suffer so much."
Palend's gold teeth gleamed coldly in the dim light.
The cleaning lady's contorted body lay at his feet.
Blood was dripping from the dagger in his hand.
"I was expelled from Sicily by my family. Do you know what kind of life I've been living during that time?"
"You only have yourself to blame, how can you blame anyone else?"
"It's all your fault! It's all because of you! I just said something casually about you, and Cosimo wants to kick me out! Who do you think you are? What gives you the right?"
Fu Yu sneered, "Isn't it because you wanted to murder Cosimo? You're just crying wolf. Are all people like you so convinced that you're the only ones who're right and everyone else is wrong?"
"Shut up!"
Palend grabbed Fu Yu by the neck and said, "Cosimo only has eyes for you, you little bitch."
Palend used the tip of his knife to lift her chin. "Tell me, what if I cut you into pieces in front of him..."
"I never kill women, but it's different if it's the woman of my enemy."
Inside the private room, Cosimo stared at the still yet slightly trembling red dot on his phone, then suddenly realized something and got up to walk towards the restroom.
A sign indicating that the restroom is under repair has been hung at the entrance.
Cosimo panicked and instinctively pushed the door open, only to find it locked.
He fired his gun and pried open the door lock.
Bang!
Gunshots rang out, and everyone looked in panic toward the direction of the bathroom.
The bathroom door was violently broken open, and Cosimo rushed in, immediately spotting Fu Yu being held hostage by Palend.
"Let her go!"
"Let her go? Sure, but give up your position as the person in charge and I'll let her go."
Palend pressed the tip of the knife against Fu Yu's neck.
"Or, you die, one life for another, how about that?"
"good."
Cosimo's only weakness is Fu Yu.
He slowly lowered the gun and raised his hands. "Let go of Fu Yu. This is a matter between my brother and me. It has nothing to do with her."
"None of my business? But who told her she's your woman? She deserves to die!"
Palend raised his dagger, as if to stab Fu Yu in the neck.
Cosimo reacted swiftly, pressing down on the knife tip. His palm was instantly cut by the sharp blade, and blood dripped down his hand. But he seemed oblivious to the pain, pulling Fu Yu into his arms and then suddenly picking up the gun!
Bang bang bang—
He covered Fu Yu's eyes, but the gunfire did not stop at all.
They smashed Palend into a sieve.
