Chapter 71 Less Using a Substitute
Compared to Xie Changyu, who was practically wrapped up like a ball, Fu Shuqing wasn't wearing many clothes. At least, Xie Changyu, who was lying on his back, could clearly feel the hard back muscles, which made him a little uncomfortable.
Having fought on the battlefield for many years, Fu Shuqing naturally possessed a robust physique. His expression was calm, and he steadily carried a man who was only a few centimeters shorter than himself on his back, without any change in his aura.
Xie Changyu, who was on his back, was much more uncomfortable. He had been resting with his face pressed against his back, but after a while it became too uncomfortable, so he lifted his head up and started fidgeting with his hands and twisting his body.
Suddenly, the sounds of fabric rustling and skin rubbing together rang out.
"Stay still and don't move."
Fu Shuqing gently patted the person who was moving around on him, thinking that he was just being mischievous again, and spoke with a hint of indulgence.
Xie Changyu was startled by the action, his body trembled, and a tingling sensation spread through him. When he realized where he had been hit, his eyes widened in disbelief, and his voice was filled with shame and anger: "Fu Shuqing, you actually hit my butt!"
His anger came suddenly, and Fu Shuqing's eyes even paused for a moment before he immediately apologized, "It was my fault."
He was feeling off, and in a moment of distraction, he made that gesture. After realizing it, he felt that it was inappropriate, since the person behind him was no longer the little boy he used to be.
Xie Changyu wanted to continue arguing after hearing what he said, but then he suddenly remembered something and stopped, opening his mouth only to close it again.
He closed his eyes and hummed.
The tingling sensation from the touch hadn't faded yet. Normally, he wouldn't be too angry if he were hit like that, since it wasn't like he was being spanked. But this time was different. He and Fu Jing had just been fooling around in the room, and the spot where he was hit was where that guy's hand had been. It had gotten quite red from all the commotion.
hateful.
Xie Changyu suddenly blushed, turned his head away and stopped talking, his eyes were moist, and his fair face showed a look of embarrassment and annoyance.
His fair fingers were still clinging to Fu Shuqing's shoulders, his face buried behind him so no one could see it, until he was taken into a special room where his face was finally revealed.
As soon as he entered, Xie Changyu recognized where he was. It was Fu Shuqing's bedroom. There was a faint, pleasant fragrance in the room, which was Fu Shuqing's scent. He had just smelled it.
He was placed on the bed and made to sit down. As soon as he sat down, he heard a voice in his ear, "Sit for a while, the doctor will be here soon."
After Fu Shuqing finished speaking, he did not leave, but stood there, looking at Xie Changyu with a strange expression.
The young man, with a face as green as a pine tree, stared straight at him, his pupils as dark as ink, making it impossible to discern the emotions within them.
Xie Changyu rarely saw Fu Shuqing look at people with such eyes. In his memory, Fu Shuqing was a very gentle older brother who doted on him.
Although Pei Zilie had previously said that the two brothers in the General's Mansion were cold and difficult to get along with, Xie Changyu never believed him. This arrogant man dared to say that others were difficult to get along with, unaware that he himself was disliked in the capital.
Despite the unpleasant memories, Xie Changyu remained unfazed by the look in her eyes and said quite naturally, "Fu Shuqing, I think I'm all better now and don't need to see a doctor."
"I don't want to take medicine anymore. I've taken so many bitter medicines these past few days, it's so uncomfortable."
That was his real purpose.
Xie Changyu had his own selfish concerns. He was so sick of taking medicine at home that he was about to vomit. What if he came to the doctor again and was prescribed more medicine? Although he felt that he was fine, he was always afraid of the worst.
He didn't want to take the medicine anymore.
"No." Fu Shuqing unusually refused his request.
"Why not?" Xie Changyu frowned, feeling instantly unhappy, but he still wanted to try. He tugged at the other person's sleeve and shook it. "The medicine is very bitter, I really don't want to take it."
Fu Shuqing stared at him for a while, then her brows relaxed slightly, and a faint smile appeared on her lips as she asked, "You really don't want to see a doctor?"
"No, no!" Xie Changyu nodded frantically upon hearing that there was hope, his eyes fixed on Fu Shuqing.
He was actually relieved. He had been thinking that if Fu Shuqing insisted on him seeing a doctor, he would start to throw a tantrum. Fortunately, that didn't happen.
“Okay.” Fu Shuqing agreed. He looked down at Xie Changyu, who was sitting there, and saw that fine beads of sweat had appeared on his forehead again. His voice became lighter. “Then I won’t watch it.”
Xie Changyu smiled, "That's great."
Fu Shuqing turned and went out for a while. When she came back in, she was carrying something. Xie Changyu didn't see it clearly at first, but when she did, her eyes were full of doubt. "What is this?"
"Jade Dew Cream".
After speaking simply and clearly, Fu Shuqing sat down next to him and began to open the ointment in her hand.
Xie Changyu was confused by his series of actions. His eyes were glazed over, and he didn't even realize that his face was starting to turn red unnaturally. It wasn't because he was shy, but because his body was starting to suffer the consequences of overdoing it in the afternoon.
"I'm not injured."
The hair around his neck and shoulders was gently brushed aside, and a blast of cold air rushed onto his delicate skin, instantly raising goosebumps.
"Hiss." Xie Changyu hissed softly, his body trembling slightly. Realizing what he was doing, he immediately shoved Fu Shuqing. "What are you doing?"
Fu Shuqing, who was pushed, didn't move. After all, that little bit of force was nothing to him. He looked at Xie Changyu with very gentle eyes, but his tone was cold. "Your neck is covered in red marks. Let me put some medicine on it for you. Otherwise, people will wonder what they will think of you when they see it."
"A red mark? Where did this red mark come from?" Xie Changyu didn't understand what he was talking about for a moment, but Fu Shuqing didn't speak. Then he suddenly realized something and said, "Oh, that's probably Fu Jing biting me. It's nothing, it should go away soon."
He directly admitted to what he and Fu Jing had done in front of Fu Shuqing, speaking in a calm tone as if they had just shared a glass of water, rather than admitting that they had seen each other's bodies and done *that*.
In Xie Changyu's mind, he never intended to hide this from Fu Shuqing. Fu Shuqing was Fu Jing's close family member, and even if he knew about it, he wouldn't reveal it. Besides, he was just trying it out with his good brother; it wasn't anything serious.
Fu Shuqing's eyes darkened slightly as she looked at his nonchalant tone. He blinked gently, "Why would he bite you?"
This was like a pointless statement. The mottled and unsightly neck in front of him was already in his sight. He knew perfectly well what had happened between them, but for some reason, he began to feel a throbbing pain in his chest and a dryness in his throat. He attributed this to his own rigidity.
Fu Shuqing naturally knew that male wives were common in the capital. As long as one drank the divine medicine, a man could also get pregnant and give birth. However, when he was young, he did not like to play with those playboys and instead buried himself in playing with swords in the mansion. When he grew up, he took over the responsibility of his deceased parents and began to fight for his country.
This was the first time he had witnessed such fun between men, especially since it happened between his two beloved younger brothers. He probably couldn't accept it.
Xie Changyu's words, sounding like complaints, recounted everything that had happened that afternoon. He concluded by saying, "I'm not going to hang out with Fu Jing again. He's too rough; he made me uncomfortable."
That's a bit too blunt.
Her pupils dilated, and Fu Shuqing, momentarily speechless with shock, slowly spoke again, "When did it start?"
His voice was somewhat hoarse, and his face, hidden in the shadows, made it impossible to discern his expression.
Was it during the two years he was away? Would two carefree teenagers have left traces of their lovemaking everywhere in this vast general's mansion?
Will this fair-skinned boy's body be covered with dark, ambiguous hickeys like it is today?
These scenes seemed to appear vividly in his mind. Fu Shuqing swallowed uncomfortably, his gaze growing even deeper.
Xie Changyu let the medicine be applied all over his body, his head down, looking indifferent, and his legs swinging casually. "What are you thinking? I just tried it today, but it was just so-so. I didn't really like it."
dislike.
Fu Shuqing's movements became even gentler as he applied the ointment, and soon all the red marks on his neck were covered by a thin layer of ointment. He then began to remove his outer robe.
"It's fine if you don't like it. You're still young, so it's better to do this kind of thing less often. Doing it too much now isn't good for your health."
He simply smiled slightly and said it casually, but Xie Changyu, who looked up, saw it and thought he was being looked down upon. He snorted and started bragging, "I'm very capable, don't underestimate me!"
He completely forgot how Fu Jing had bullied him to tears on the bed just now. In the end, the pressure was too much for him to bear, and he started yelling for people to get out.
The image of Xie Changyu frantically cursing Fu Jing as a dog flashed through her mind, but she continued without any guilt, "If I hadn't been sick and not recovered, Fu Jing definitely wouldn't be able to get out of bed. But I'm pretty strong now, he can't even walk steadily!"
In reality, he was the one who felt good, but he was also the one whose legs went weak.
Although he knew nothing about this, Xie Changyu insisted on portraying himself as very capable, as he didn't want to be laughed at.
He became increasingly bold in his speech, while Fu Shuqing's ears turned bright red. Although he had heard many crude jokes from his men in the military camp, he had never made any connection to them and had only focused on defeating the enemy. Now, unusually, he was blushing from the words of the inexperienced yet seemingly skilled young man beside him.
“You’re still young, it’s best to avoid these things now.” Fu Shuqing repeated the same thing, his expression indifferent. He said, “I will keep A-Jing in check from now on. You two should avoid doing these things now, it’s not too late after you get married.”
"marriage?"
Upon hearing the unfamiliar words, Xie Changyu immediately abandoned the thought that Fu Shuqing was not shocked that he and Fu Jing had done that, and exclaimed in surprise. Although he was not feeling well at the moment, he still wanted to try again later, but he would not go to Fu Jing.
Do we still have to wait until we get married?
