Chapter 50 Rivals' Trio
Chen Du ignored him and pulled Xie Changyu into the restroom.
In front of the large mirror.
Xie Changyu reached out and let the warm water flow over his hands. He rubbed them a few times, trying to wash away the sticky feeling.
Are you leaving tomorrow?
Xie Changyu paused, then tilted his head and said, "Are you spying on me again?"
Chen Du lowered his eyes, his gaze following the pair of wet hands, and said in a low voice, "I guessed."
Xie Changyu didn't believe it, thinking it was just an excuse, but he was too lazy to ask further. He took out a few tissues to wipe himself clean and stood up straight. He had just drunk hot soup and had taken off several layers of clothes, so his clothes were now very thin, but he wasn't cold.
He tilted his head, staring intently at the mirror, his gaze landing on his neck.
Chen Du also looked up at the mirror. He first glanced at the marked neck, then looked at himself in the mirror and met the calm gaze that was no different from usual.
"Alright, go out now."
Xie Changyu didn't quite understand why they had to come in to wash their hands, but he didn't want to try to figure out their thought processes, lest he get caught up in their confusion again.
However, he was pulled back when he passed through the sinkhole.
Xie Changyu frowned. "What are you doing?"
Chen Du didn't speak, but reached out and touched his neck. He could feel his collar being gently pulled open, followed by the touch of his fingertips. Xie Changyu seemed somewhat immune to this and didn't react to it. Instead, he remained calm and said, "What's wrong? Didn't you see the hickey?"
I never imagined that one day he could calmly mention the word "kiss mark".
Chen Du shook his head, his voice hoarse and hesitant, "You didn't say who did it."
Xie Changyu didn't expect him to care about this. After all, apart from kissing him for a long time like he was having a seizure that day, this guy had been cold and indifferent until now, without any emotion, making him wonder if that day was just his imagination.
He automatically forgot that she had massaged her stomach before going to sleep.
but--
"Don't worry about that."
Chen Du looked up, and his dark eyes seemed to hold a hint of grievance. Xie Changyu thought she was seeing things.
"But."
The shadowy figure loomed over, and Xie Changyu didn't have time to react before she felt her lips being lightly touched, like a dragonfly skimming the water, leaving only a faint trace.
He frowned, looking at the person in front of him with an expression that seemed to say nothing had happened, and felt a little annoyed. He really didn't expect that of the two brothers, this seemingly aloof older brother had always been so bold, while Shen Zisui, who was clingy and affectionate, had never taken the initiative to have any intimate contact.
Aside from his hand that kept clinging to him.
Chen Du pressed a slight smile to his lips, turned his head away from Xie Changyu's gaze, and said in a low voice, "It's fine now."
Xie Changyu wiped his mouth, then said with a forced smile, "Shen Zisui was right, you really can't judge a book by its cover."
After saying that, he walked around the people and left.
Chen Du remained stationary for a few seconds before following closely behind.
Shen Zisui outside was getting impatient and had already stood up as if he was about to come in. After Xie Changyu left, he didn't tell him what had just happened, since if a fight broke out, he would be implicated. Although he didn't understand why the relationship between these two brothers was so superficial.
Shen Zisui's hand naturally came up again, their fingers intertwined so tightly that Xie Changyu couldn't shake it off even if she wanted to.
"Do you want to go out and play again?"
Their heads were so close that their breaths mingled. Xie Changyu blinked slightly, then calmly pushed the other head away. "Let me think about it."
Actually, there are many interesting places in this area, but he's too much of a homebody and hasn't been there yet. He doesn't know if there are any places to visit at this time of year.
Besides, it's so cold and it's already dark, so outdoor entertainment is definitely out of the question. As for indoor activities, he wondered what he could do.
I can't think of anything.
In the end, he turned the subject back on him, saying, "You guys decide, I'm fine with either."
After all, smart people know that they can only play indoors now, and as long as it's not cold, he doesn't care.
"Is anything okay...?"
Shen Zisui listened to his words and started to think about them seriously. He didn't reduce the pressure on his hands, but instead kept moving them around, playing with Xie Changyu's hands like a toy.
Xie Changyu's hands were long and slender, cool and white, and felt like jade. Shen Zisui's hands were slightly thinner, and they were also cold. However, by intertwining their hands, they managed to warm up a little.
Xie Changyu got annoyed by being touched, and the coldness was also a bit uncomfortable. He had someone let go of his hands and then called Chen Du over. The man who had been standing there like a doorman walked over after hearing his words, and then he took Chen Du's hands in his.
...It's still more comfortable to hold a warm hand.
Of course, he was still holding Shen Zisui's hand with his other hand, otherwise that person wouldn't have been so obedient.
Shen Zisui's eyes darkened as he looked at their clasped hands, but this time he didn't say anything. Instead, he looked at Xie Changyu and smiled, "How about going to the movies?"
"A movie theater?" Xie Changyu, whose attention was still on Shen Du's hand, seriously considered this possibility. He asked doubtfully, "Are there any good movies out lately?"
"There's one that's pretty good; the online reviews are quite positive. You could check it out."
"What type?" Xie Changyu still had to ask, otherwise he might fall asleep from boredom.
Shen Zisui saw through his thoughts, and her smile deepened on her beautiful face. "You like comedies."
Comedy films are a genre Xie Changyu quite likes. Besides that, he also enjoys animated films that can be watched during the Spring Festival. He doesn't really like complicated movies that make him feel bad; they're too tiring.
So he nodded in agreement, "Okay."
After saying that, he politely turned to Chen Du and asked, "And you?"
Shen Du's eyes were dark, and he hummed in response.
"Then I'll book the tickets." Shen Zisui took out his phone with his other hand and started operating it. After a short while, he held up his phone to show them. "Okay, let's go."
"It's not far, is it?" Xie Changyu was worried that it was too far and he would have to take a car. He had just finished eating, and he was sure he would throw up if he got carsick.
Shen Zisui shook his head, "No need to take a car, there are some nearby."
"That's good."
After the three of them made their decision, they acted quickly and soon arrived at the cinema, but—
"How are they different?"
Shen Du frowned slightly, holding his movie ticket, clearly sensing something was wrong.
Xie Changyu and Shen Zisui had already taken their seats, but they didn't expect something else to happen. He rested his chin on his hand and looked at Shen Du with a puzzled expression. "What's wrong? Why aren't you sitting down?"
At this moment, Shen Zisui spoke up, his eyes smiling and his tone somewhat apologetic, "I accidentally clicked the wrong number. I bought his ticket for the row behind us."
Chen Du twitched his lips. "You should have told me if your eyesight is that bad."
"Sorry, sorry, just make do for now. But it's not much different. You can see better from the back. We'll sit in front of you."
Shen Zisui seemed to be in a good mood. The other two could tell that he was doing it on purpose. Xie Changyu didn't expect this guy to be so childish, making a fuss over buying movie tickets. However, the movie was about to start, and he didn't want these two to keep arguing and affecting his viewing experience, so he urged, "Alright, sit down. It's okay if you bought the wrong tickets. The movie is about to start."
Shen Zisui secretly raised an eyebrow and followed up on these words, saying, "Yeah, just buy it and sit down."
Chen Du looked at the two seats right next to each other, glanced at his younger brother without any emotion, then moved back a row and found his own seat.
They didn't start arguing.
The movie started soon, and Xie Changyu's attention was completely focused on the big screen in front of him. He was also holding a large bucket of popcorn, eating as he watched.
He didn't know how much time had passed, nor did he notice that the person next to him had been replaced. Chen Du sat on his other side and took his hand without permission, making him realize what was happening instantly. He was surprised and asked, "Weren't you sitting in the back?"
Chen Du pursed his lips and said, "I switched with him."
Xie Changyu looked behind him and, sure enough, the stranger had already taken the seat that Chen Du had just occupied, and Chen Du was sitting next to him. Now he was sandwiched between the two brothers, with Shen Zisui on his left and Chen Du on his right.
He easily pulled his hand away, saying, "Don't hold my hand, I still want to eat."
Shen Zisui naturally noticed this scene. His eyebrows twitched, and he said provocatively, "You're pretty fast."
Chen Du replied calmly, "Not as fast as you."
Shen Zisui's throat tightened from the retort. In the end, because the movie was still playing, Xie Changyu stuffed a mouthful of popcorn into his own mouth to prevent the two of them from getting too loud, as he wanted to continue watching the movie.
Having understood his meaning, the two exchanged a few glances before looking away and focusing on the big screen.
However, Chen Du's gaze unconsciously fell on that face, his eyes serious, his attention shifting to that mouth, and then he didn't look away again.
Two hours had passed since the movie ended.
Feeling bored and having nothing to do, Xie Changyu returned to the hotel, with the other two following him. Once back, he collapsed onto the bed, completely unwilling to move...
Shen Du didn't bother to clean him up, but instead turned his gaze to Shen Zisui, his tone heavy, "What did you mean by deliberately buying those movie tickets just now?"
Shen Zisui blinked, her tone innocent, "I already said it was an accident, not intentional, don't be so petty."
"Me, petty?"
This was the first time Chen Du had heard such a comment, especially from his own younger brother. He lowered his eyelids slightly and said, "You certainly have a thick skin."
Shen Zisui glanced at the person on the bed casually, and after confirming that no one was looking at him, he took off his smile and said in a sarcastic tone, "I was locked up by the old man that day because you told on me, otherwise you would be here now?"
His eyes grew increasingly sinister as he spoke, "Are you satisfied now? Changyu doesn't care about anyone, and this is all your fault..."
"I just bought the wrong movie ticket and you're reacting so strongly? What? Now you know how I feel, but that's not enough."
