Deep in the dark underground
Feng Su planted his sword in the rock wall and grabbed Ji Wuye by the collar.
Beneath our feet was thick, churning lava.
The intense heat rose from below, and within just a few breaths, beads of sweat covered their foreheads.
"Senior Brother Feng, do you think Master doesn't want us anymore, so he brought us here to die?"
Ji Wuye lowered his eyes and looked at the orange, churning lava, which was no more than two meters away from his feet.
He felt like he was being melted inside and out.

Feng Su gripped the hilt of Yu Liu sword with one hand.
Her fair wrists turned red from the heat, and the veins on the back of her hands bulged.
He looked up, but couldn't see any light at all.

A hint of regret flashed across Ji Wuye's eyes. As if suddenly remembering something, he sighed.

His palms were sweaty and slippery as he gripped the sword hilt.

The boy's eyes were full of determination.

Ji Wuye used his strength to widen the distance between Feng Su and Huo Miao.
Something seemed to fall from above, and Ji Wuye reached out and caught it.
The silver mask landed in his palm, and the boy's pupils contracted.
Feng Su looked down in panic, but breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Ji Wuye catch the mask.

A boy's slightly hoarse voice came from above.
Ji Wuye put the mask into his pocket, smiled and looked up, "Senior brother, no need."
He saw Feng Su's face and was caught off guard, completely stunned.

After hastily finishing his sentence, Ji Wuye's eyes flickered slightly as he looked away.
He couldn't help but reach out and press his hand against the front of his shirt; the outline of the mask was still clear even through the clothing.
He never expected that his senior brother's face would be injured like that.
Feng Su didn't miss his reaction, and a hint of sadness flashed across her beautiful phoenix eyes.

Feng Su raised his head with difficulty, a hint of reluctance in his eyes.

Ji Wuye also looked up, a self-deprecating smile playing on his lips.
The boy looked down at the lava that was bubbling with fire.
The hand gripping Feng Su's arm began to loosen.
Noticing his movement, Feng Su frowned.
"Junior brother, hold on tight to me!"
"Senior brother, stop struggling. Why don't we jump down together?"
The boy had a smile on his lips, and his eyes were as clear as ever, but now they held a hint of unbridled freedom.
It looks like it, very much like it.
Feng Su stared straight into his eyes.
He had seen this expression in his master's eyes before, and to be honest, he envied it.
Feng Su grabbed Ji Wuye's wrist tightly with her other hand.
"Don't be so pathetic," he whispered.

Ji Wuye didn't scold him anymore, saying he was useless. He was indeed promising, but he didn't know if people would come.
Yu Yan stood at the edge of the crack, her divine sense penetrating deep into it, and the woman's brow twitched.
Now Yan Ning doesn't need to pull her anymore.
The woman jumped down.
