Qin Yanning had just spent a long time feigning friendship with a group of women during the day, and after coming back, she coaxed Tuoba Xiao, the greasy old man. Listening to the sound coming from the roof, she was so tired that she didn't even want to open her eyes. But even if she didn't open her eyes, Qin Yanning knew who was coming.
Qin Yanning lay in bed, feeling a breeze carrying a faint scent of pine and cypress drifting towards her. Qin Yanning raised her hand lazily and whispered, "You're well-informed. You got the news as soon as the old man left."
Tuoba Ling snorted and sat down next to Qin Yanning. The not-so-strong rose scent on Qin Yanning's body squeezed into his nostrils. Tuoba Ling looked at Qin Yanning lying on the bed without restraining her movements at all. For some reason, he wanted to play a trick on her.
Tuoba Ling placed his hand on Qin Yanning's shoulder. Qin Yanning did not dodge and smiled, "My shoulder hurts too. Rub it for me."
Tuoba Ling wanted to refuse, but as if possessed by some unknown force, he pressed the button as Qin Yanning said. When he came to his senses, Qin Yanning had already climbed up from the bed.
The weather in the desert was hot, and Qin Yanning was only wearing a thin silk skirt. The beige skirt made her look like a fairy under the moon. Tuoba Ling was stunned for a moment.
Qin Yanning waved his hand, and Tuoba Ling finally woke up and asked, "Why did you send that old man away today?"
Qin Yanning spread his hands helplessly and said, "There's nothing I can do. It's not a big deal for me to sleep on the couch all day."

Tuoba Ling understood the principle of "When the cunning rabbit dies, the good bow is hidden". Although Da Mo is a powerful country now, several small countries and Da Zhang are eyeing it covetously. Therefore, he and the soldiers under his command have a need to exist. If Tuoba Xiao dies one day, the position of Khan will fall into the hands of one of his royal brothers.

Tuoba Ling lowered his head to look at Qin Yanning. The girl's hair was scattered on her shoulders, and there seemed to be tears in her eyes. Now he felt that no matter what he did in the future, it would be good, even if it was just to tie the girl's hair.
Qin Yanning noticed Tuoba Ling's change in mood. She thought she had just frightened her by pretending to cry. Just as she was about to say something, she heard Tuoba Ling's low voice, "When everything here is over, I will take you to see the wolves who feed me."
As if afraid that Qin Yanning would be frightened, Tuoba Ling added, "They are indeed fierce, but they are also very kind to me. Every time they come back from hunting, they always give me the best meat. They will like you too."
Qin Yanning didn't expect Tuoba Ling to say that. She was stunned for a moment and then understood.
To Tuoba Ling, the wolves that fed him in the past were like family members. He wanted to take her to see those wolves, which meant he wanted to introduce her to his family.
Qin Yanning looked up at the tall and majestic man in front of her. Tuoba Ling was two heads taller than her, and he always had a sullen face all day long, as if nothing in the world could defeat him.
