Chapter 13

Chapter 13

Song Shu took the initiative and turned to look at Chen Zonghao and asked, "Has Jiahui been to kindergarten before?"

Chen Zonghao shook his head helplessly, "No."

Before my eldest brother got into trouble, Jiahui was too young to be sent there. After my eldest brother got into trouble, the time was so chaotic that I couldn’t take care of her anymore.

Jiahui is now a little over five years old. She can be sent to primary school when she is six. She is just at the right age to be sent to both kindergarten and primary school.

However, considering that Jiahui had never been to school before, she could go to kindergarten for a while to adapt to the environment.

The main reason is that this age group needs to play with friends. Even if they don't study, group activities are better for children's growth.

Song Shu shared her concerns with Chen Zonghao, and they both agreed to send Jiahui to kindergarten first to get used to it, even if it was just for one semester.

After the two of them finished discussing, Chen Zonghao said directly: "Then send Jiahui to kindergarten first."

Song Shu glanced at him and didn't agree with him. Instead, she said to Jiahui who was in Chen Zonghao's arms, "Jiahui, do you want to go to kindergarten?"

After all, this was Jiahui's business, so Song Shu did not make the decision for her arbitrarily. Even though she was too young to make the decision, she still explained it to her and asked for her opinion.

Chen Zonghao looked at Song Shu who was discussing with Jiahui, his tone gentle without any impatience.

He has no memory of his mother's care and education, but the parents he sees usually have the image of being the ones who have the final say in front of their children.

Song Shu didn't notice his thoughtful look, but patiently explained everything to Jiahui.

The little guy nodded as he listened, and finally spoke: "Does going to kindergarten mean carrying a small schoolbag to school and playing with other children like Zhuzhu? Zhuzhu said that there are many fun and delicious things in kindergarten every day, and there is a slide..."

Jiahui was talking with excitement and her eyes sparkling. She used to see Sister Zhuzhu upstairs holding her mother's hand to go to school every day.

At the beginning, Sister Zhuzhu was crying, but after a few days she came to her happily and told her that kindergarten was fun, with many children playing together and many delicious foods. Zhuzhu said that she especially liked a kind of cream cake, which she could eat every week.

Once, Zhuzhu secretly hid a small piece of cake in her schoolbag and brought it back to her. Although the small piece of cake was crushed into shape, Jiahui took a bite and felt that Zhuzhu was right. Cream cake was really delicious and it was also her favorite food. Kindergarten must be as fun as Zhuzhu said.

But Jiahui saw that her mother was very busy every day, so she did not dare to tell her mother that she also wanted to go to kindergarten. Every day she squatted at the door and watched Sister Zhuzhu skipping to school. Then in the evening she squatted at the door and waited for Sister Zhuzhu to come back from school and tell her about the fun things in kindergarten.

Song Shu didn't know who the Sister Zhuzhu that Jiahui was talking about was, and she couldn't help but look at Chen Zonghao. Seeing that he looked calm, Song Shu was still waiting for his answer.

Unexpectedly, the man glanced at her, then lowered his head and asked Jiahui: "Who is Zhuzhu?"

Song Shu was speechless for a moment and looked away. Okay, this is fine.

"Sister Zhuzhu is the Sister Zhuzhu upstairs." Jiahui looked up and answered innocently.

Song Shu couldn't help laughing. Seeing Chen Zonghao's embarrassed expression, it was obvious that in the little guy's mind, Sister Zhuzhu was just Sister Zhuzhu. He had no idea that what the adults wanted to know was some information about Sister Zhuzhu's family.

Song Shu did not pursue the matter about Sister Zhuzhu any further, but asked, "Does Jiahui want to go to kindergarten like Sister Zhuzhu?"

Jiahui's eyes lit up, then dimmed again. She pinched her little finger and asked, "Jiahui, can we go?"

Song Shu pinched her little face and said, "Why not? Of course you can. Jiahui can go if she wants to."

Chen Zonghao also tossed her up and caught her again, "Listen to your sister."

Jiahui looked at Song Shu, then at Chen Zonghao. They both waited patiently for her answer. After a while, the little man nodded suddenly, "I want to go."

"Okay, then let's go to kindergarten." Song Shu touched her head and said.

Chen Zonghao also nodded, "Since we are going, let's go to see the school this afternoon."

Song Shu had no objection either. They were all people with strong action ability. Once a decision was made, it would be completed as soon as possible. Besides, they would be busy in the next few days and would not have much extra time.

After lunch, Song Shu, wearing her morning dress, and Chen Zonghao, each holding Jiahui's hand, went to several nearby kindergartens, ready to experience them before choosing one.

Fortunately, there was a local named Chen Zonghao, who led Song Shu along the way.

The first kindergarten that Song Shu and her two companions went to was established by the government with assistance from the community. They only had to pay some food fees every month, and all other fees were free.

The kindergarten is not big, with the road just outside the door, but there are a lot of students. Before you even walk in, you can hear all kinds of chattering. Song Shu suspects that all the children in the neighborhood were sent here.

Song Shu and her friends followed the teacher to look around the classrooms and found that there were about thirty students in each class, but only two teachers.

The children in the middle and large classes are better, as they are promoted from the small classes and can barely listen to the teachers. But the children in the small classes just cry and make a lot of noise, and the teachers can't handle it at all.

Song Shu saw how busy they were. Besides the fact that there were few teachers in each class, she also found some problems with the way the teachers handled problems. For example, they couldn't help but scold the children as soon as they cried.

Therefore, Song Shu did not look any further and was the first to screen out this kindergarten, even though it did not require tuition.

There are two kindergartens relatively close to home. One is an international private kindergarten with both Chinese and foreign students. However, the tuition fee of more than 10,000 Hong Kong dollars per semester made Song Shu and her friends feel daunted.

The last one was a private kindergarten run by locals. The tuition fee was more than 2,000 Hong Kong dollars per semester. This was within acceptable range for Song Shu and Chen Zonghao, so the two decided to go and take a look.

When they arrived at the kindergarten, the teacher welcomed them warmly.

The school looked much bigger than the first one, and the classrooms were spacious and bright. There were less than twenty students in each class and there were three teachers.

Every teacher wears a neat uniform and is gentle and patient even when solving various problems among children.

Moreover, its infrastructure is very good, with activity rooms, reading rooms, and various interest classes. Even the play area is built like a small playground. It is a paradise for children's dreams.

Even Song Shu couldn't help but want to go and try it out. After a round of look, she found that there was nothing wrong with this school and it completely met her expectations.

Even Jiahui's expression when she looked at her seemed much more interested than when she first saw the school.

Just when Song Shu wanted to ask Jiahui for her opinion, a clear child's voice sounded behind them, "Sister Jiahui."

Before Song Shu and the others could react, Jiahui in Chen Zonghao's arms suddenly turned around and called out excitedly, "Sister Zhuzhu." Her voice was much louder than usual.

It was the first time that Song Shu saw her so emotional. She couldn't help but turn her head back, and saw a chubby-looking girl running towards them from not far away.

While running, he shouted loudly, "Sister Jiahui."

At this time, Jia Hui had slipped out of Chen Zonghao's arms and rushed towards the little girl with the same excitement, "Sister Zhuzhu."

In an instant, the two little girls hugged each other excitedly. One of them called her "Sister Jiahui" and the other called her "Sister Zhuzhu."

As if they were competing to see whose voice was louder, they stopped talking after a while.

Song Shu only saw the chubby little girl holding Jiahui's hand, her eyes wide open, "Jiahui, why are you here?"

Jiahui also took her hand, and the two of them shook hands, "My sister and uncle and I are going to the kindergarten. Sister Zhuzhu, I am also going to the kindergarten."

"Wow, that's great!" Zhuzhu opened her mouth wide, her eyes full of joy for her child, "Good kindergarten, Jiahui, you and I can go to the same kindergarten."

The little girl obviously thought this was a good idea and said excitedly: "Then we can go to kindergarten together. I can also help you make friends. I also know what delicious food there is..."

The little girl patted her chest and said, "Follow me then, I guarantee you'll have lots of delicious food."

Jiahui listened to what she said and nodded with sparkling eyes, obviously trusting her very much.

Song Shu saw the two of them talking for a while, then Jiahui nodded, and the little girl pulled Jiahui over and looked up at her and Chen Zonghao.

The little girl greeted them obediently, "Hello, sister, hello, uncle, my name is Zhuzhu, I am Jiahui's good friend."

Song Shu curled her lips and bent her waist, "Hello, little Zhuzhu."

When Chen Zonghao heard the name that was completely different from Song Shu's, the corner of his mouth twitched.

After the little girl greeted them, she was not afraid at all. She looked at Song Shu and the others and said, "Sister and uncle, can you let Jiahui go to this kindergarten?"

Song Shu pretended to be suspicious and asked, "Oh, why?"

The little girl seemed to be convincing, and she said a lot of things in a flash, "I will take care of little sister Jiahui and won't let anyone bully her. Besides, there are so many delicious foods in this kindergarten..."

Song Shu heard her mention delicious food several times, and then looked at the little girl's chubby and cute face, well, it was obvious that she was a foodie.

Song Shu was already very satisfied with this kindergarten. Now seeing that Jiahui's good friend Zhuzhu is also attending this school, Jiahui will have a companion and will be able to adapt to kindergarten life more quickly.

Therefore, Song Shu did not hesitate any more and asked Jia Hui, "Jia Hui, what about you? Do you want to go to this kindergarten?"

Jiahui listened and nodded under the expectant gaze of sister Zhuzhu, "I want to."

Song Shu saw that the little girl looked exactly like Sister Zhuzhu, and turned to look at Chen Zonghao, "What do you think?"

"Very good." Chen Zonghao said, but paused, "You can't eat too much delicious food."

After hearing this, Song Shu couldn't help but glance at him helplessly. What a childish guy, it's just a name.

The others obviously didn't get what he meant. The little girl Zhuzhu asked in a serious and puzzled manner: "Uncle, you should eat more delicious food." She looked as if he didn't understand.

Jiahui beside her nodded in agreement.

Seeing him embarrassed again, Song Shu laughed unkindly, which made the man roll his eyes.

After deciding on the kindergarten, Chen Zonghao and Song Shu paid the tuition and saw Jiahui and Zhuzhu standing at the school gate, bidding them farewell.

One stood outside the door and the other stood inside. Zhuzhu inside the door said unhappily, "Jiahui, can't you go to school now? Why do you have to go tomorrow?"

Jiahui held her hand and tried to comfort her, "Sister Zhuzhu, tomorrow will be here very soon. It will be here in the blink of an eye."

After hearing her words, Zhuzhu suddenly closed her eyes, then opened them again, "I'm closed now, so Jiahui, can you go to school?"

Jiahui looked at her action at that moment, stunned, and had no idea how to respond to her.

Song Shu and the teachers at the door were both amused and confused when watching their performance.

Finally, the teacher said, "Zhuzhu, it's almost tea time. Today we have your favorite cream cake."

Zhuzhu reluctantly let go of Jiahui's hand and was reluctantly pulled back to the classroom by the teacher.

Chen Zonghao picked up Jiahui, and Song Shu followed them, holding Jiahui's hand, "Our Jiahui is going to kindergarten too."

"To kindergarten."
