Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Even though Song Shu leaned to the right, the two of them would bump into each other from time to time when the car started, and Song Shu could only hold on to the right handrail tightly.

Perhaps her nervous expression attracted too much attention, so Chen Zonghao glanced at her.

Song Shu faced the wind and said worriedly, "Don't look at me, look ahead. I'm afraid the car will flip over."

"Heh." Chen Zonghao sneered and stepped on the accelerator again.

Song Shu couldn't help but shout: "Chen Zonghao!" and glared at him, thinking in her heart, what a childish guy.

Song Shu heard the "thump thump thump" sound all the way home, and she even felt as if her body was thrown up when she stepped on the ground.

Hearing the sound, Awen, Shitou and the others came out and helped unload the cloth and move it into the living room without saying a word.

Song Shu, who Chen Zonghao thought would get dizzy even when moving things, washed some apples and bananas, cut them up, put them on a plate and served them to them, and then went to the street to buy a few bottles of iced soda.

Shitou, who was holding a fruit plate, made eyes at Awen and said, "Second sister-in-law is really sentimental. She even puts a plate on the table for every fruit she eats. It's not enough for me to eat in one bite."

Ah Wen slapped him and said, "Even eating can't stop your mouth."

Chen Zonghao saw her busying around like a bee and curled the corners of his mouth.

He turned around and looked at the living room which was filled with fabrics, then moved the TV table and TV into the room where he was currently living. Then he placed the sofa against the wall, went into the kitchen to tidy up, and came out to carry the dining table into the kitchen and set it up.

He looked at Song Shu and said casually, "The kitchen is not used much anyway."

After hearing this, Song Shu gave him a sincere smile.

Shitou, who had just brought in a bag of cloth, didn't know the secret code between them. When he heard what Chen Zonghao said, he said, "Why not? Brother Hao, aren't you a good cook?"

Song Shu blurted out in surprise, "Really?"

You can't tell at all that this guy is such a good cook. I couldn't help but look Chen Zonghao up and down, and glanced at his arm muscles, wondering if he got these muscles from flipping the wok.

"Ask Ah Wen." Shitou pulled Ah Wen who had just come in, "Ah Wen, does Hao Ge have a special skill in cooking? But Hao Ge seldom cooks."

Awen looked between Song Shu and Chen Zonghao and nodded silently.

Even Jiahui, a child, raised her eyes and voted, "It's delicious."

"Oh." Song Shu nodded, glanced at the man, and said in a fake tone, "That's a pity, I haven't tasted it."

"Well, there's a bag of cloth outside. I'll go move it in." Ah Wen grabbed Shitou and walked out. "Come with me."

Shitou tried to break free from his hand but couldn't. "No, it's just a bag. You can carry it by yourself. Why do you drag me along?"

"Shut up."

The two went out noisily.

After listening to her sister's words, Jia Hui rushed over and hugged Chen Zonghao's legs, "Second uncle, stir-fry."

Song Shu looked at the man leisurely. Since he always teased her, she also wanted to tease him and was a little curious about his cooking skills.

However, the man did not play by the rules. He picked up Jiahui and said, "Okay, I'll cook you a full banquet."

He spoke to Jiahui, but his eyes were on Song Shu.

Song Shu met his teasing gaze and was stung. She looked away and said, "Well, I'll go back to my room and think about my design."

Having said that, he pushed open the door and walked in without waiting for their answer.

Chen Zonghao looked at the half-open door and said to Jiahui, "Jiahui, go to your second uncle's room and watch TV by yourself. Don't disturb your sister, okay?"

Jiahui nodded, "Okay, sister wants to make a lot of money."

Chen Zonghao laughed and said, "Yes, your sister wants to make a lot of money."

Song Shu returned to the room and still felt a little uncomfortable thinking about the man's gaze. However, when she saw the magazines she bought piled on the bed, she didn't care to think about it anymore.

She sat on the bed and picked up the magazine to read. After she finished reading the entire magazine, she had a better understanding of the current clothing industry in Hong Kong.

The most popular denim elements nowadays are jeans, denim jackets, etc. When walking on the street, eight out of ten people are wearing jeans.

Moreover, the types of jeans nowadays are no less than those in later generations. There are flared, straight, high-waisted and even ripped jeans. It is not easy to play with them.

But she can't break away from what's popular now. She's still a small fry, far from influencing the clothing industry and making the clothes she designs become a trend.

And as her first store, if she chooses to do the opposite, then her store may receive dismal traffic.

With neither fame nor customers, the store may eventually close down.

Song Shu picked up a magazine at random, her mind wandering, her attention not on the magazine. She was now thinking about how to make something eye-catching in this era of popular denim elements.

As she was thinking, her eyes inadvertently fell on the magazine and she realized that it was a gossip magazine. She might have accidentally brought it in when she bought the magazine just now.

Suddenly, Song Shu's eyes fixed on the title of the magazine page, "Master Liu spent millions to buy a precious horse for the new bride."

Song Shu’s focus was not on the gossip, but on the last four words in the title, “blood-sweating precious horse”, horse racing.

Suddenly her eyes lit up: horse racing, western cowboy style.

Horse racing can be said to be the most popular sport in Hong Kong, whether because of its competitive nature or its legal gambling, everyone in Hong Kong, from the age of 80 to the age of 3, knows about horse racing.

The two or three horse races each week are always packed with spectators, from ordinary people to Hong Kong celebrities.

Song Shu associated this horse racing event with the western cowboy style of clothing.

She could have added some western cowboy elements from the current popular cowboy elements, which would be perfectly suitable for horse racing.

By being associated with this big event, Song Shu can benefit from it, even if the benefit is small, it is enough for her.

Thinking of Song Shu, he walked to the table where the tape recorder was placed before. She had already placed the tape recorder on the suitcase in the corner.

Song Shu sat down on a chair, took out a notebook, and quickly sketched out the inspiration in her mind.

A sudden burst of inspiration made her forget the passage of time.

Song Shu stopped writing and looked at the several pages of map paper she had scribbled on, thinking about the finished map in her mind.

Different from the single denim skirts nowadays, she plans to add a brown leather vest to the upper body of her first denim suspender skirt.

The faux vest and denim skirt are sewn together, and the vest is fastened with black straps instead of buttons.

For the second tube-top denim skirt, she plans to use a distressed smoky denim fabric and pair it with two wide metal-buckle belts at the waist.

While I was thinking, I heard intermittent sounds from outside the door, as if they were deliberately suppressed, and along with the sounds came the aroma of food.

Song Shu stopped writing, stood up and walked out.
