Lu Huai'an glanced at Su Wantang, who asked in surprise, "What does this have to do with me?"
Lu Huai'an nodded, then shook his head.
Su Wantang suddenly had a flash of inspiration: "Liu Cuicui?"
That's unacceptable! Liu Cuicui wouldn't confront Su Yue, the daughter of a division commander, head-on if she weren't stupid! After all, Su Yue's father, Su Zhen, is still a division commander!
Su Wantang looked at Lu Huai'an, waiting for him to continue.

Lu Huai'an didn't care about what Huo Jun said. On the contrary, he was somewhat glad that he had these things, otherwise he would have regretted missing out on such a good comrade as Su Wantang for the rest of his life.
What he cared about was Huo Jun's engagement to Su Wantang.
The marriage between them was arranged by their grandfather and Grandpa Su, but their grandfather never mentioned it. Lu Huai'an guessed that the initiative in this childhood betrothal was probably not in the hands of the Lu family from the very beginning.
If the Su family hadn't met with disaster, perhaps...

"Class monitor?" Su Wantang chuckled, her eyes and brows beaming with joy.
He skipped the deputy platoon leader position and was demoted two ranks.

The decision to marry Liu Cuicui to Huo Jun was absolutely right! She didn't even need to lift a finger; Liu Cuicui could probably drag Huo Jun out of the army!
"By the way, Huai'an, did you just call me?"
Looking at Su Wantang's smiling eyes, Lu Huai'an suddenly felt that there was no need for him to ask, and his held breath suddenly relaxed.
"It's alright now."
He stopped asking, but Su Wantang didn't let him off the hook.
"You interfered?"
Lu Huai'an's heart, which had just settled in his stomach, instantly jumped to his throat, but he still didn't lie to Su Wantang.
"Hmm." He discreetly observed Su Wantang's expression. "Demoting him to deputy platoon leader is too lenient for me!"
Lu Huai'an had to train on weekdays, and Su Wantang had to go to work, so they didn't have much time together. He had finally managed to get closer to Su Wantang by watching a movie, but before he was ready to make any further efforts, Huo Jun and Liu Cuicui almost ruined it all. Lu Huai'an was furious.
After he finished speaking, he waited for a second, and seeing that Su Wantang did not say anything, his heart became even more uneasy.
Thinking of last night, Lu Huai'an's eyes softened involuntarily, and he adopted a wronged tone.
"I finally managed to—"
"Well done."
Su Wantang's sincere praise silenced Lu Huai'an, who was only halfway through his sentence. Thinking that Su Wantang hadn't heard him, he quickly reverted to his usual indifferent and serious demeanor.
Unexpectedly, a beautiful face loomed large in his dark eyes. She leaned on the table, tilted her head, and asked him a question.
"How did you manage to get here after all that trouble?"
Lu Huai'an was taken aback when he saw the mischievous smile in Su Wantang's eyes. He immediately realized that she was deliberately teasing him.
His dark eyes flashed, and with a long arm, he wrapped his arms around her slender waist, pulling Su Wantang onto his lap and trapping her between his arms and the table behind her.
In an instant, the situation reversed.
Su Wantang, who had launched the attack, was forced to defend.
Lu Huai'an's muscular physique was simply too intimidating.
She's 1.68 meters tall, but sitting on Lu Huai'an's lap, she looked like a child, completely overshadowed by his tall figure. If you looked from behind, you'd think Lu Huai'an was alone in the yard.
The overwhelming masculine scent enveloped Su Wantang, and she shifted uncomfortably backward, unaware that her retreat was directly in front of the corner of the table.
"careful."
Su Wantang was stunned for a moment, but soon, the bulge on the table corner that she could feel even through the scalding hot palm made her understand what was going on.
She straightened her back and said reproachfully, "Take your hand away."
Su Wantang is good-looking and not flat-chested. When she straightened her back like that, Lu Huai'an, who had just leaned forward in his haste, suddenly felt something flick his chin.
His mind went blank.
Lu Huai'an had a feeling, and Su Wantang's senses were even stronger.
She let out a short "Ah!", hurriedly pushed Lu Huai'an away, and quickly fled back to her room, clutching her pounding heart.
"Su Wantang! What are you doing? Weren't you the one teasing Lu Huai'an? How come you've gotten the better of him?" Su Wantang muttered to herself.
Knock knock knock.
The sudden knocking startled Su Wantang again.
