Chapter 150 Tangtang, My Spiritual Root Is Something Wrong (2/2)

Three completely different forces were forcibly twisted together to form a strange sword exuding a terrifying aura, which was slowly rotating in the center of his dantian.

That extremely sharp aura made him feel as if it could pierce through his dantian and tear him to shreds from the inside out in the next second.

This was his own power, yet it was completely beyond his control!

Yan Yu felt as if his heart was being gripped by an icy hand, and his inner shirt was instantly soaked with cold sweat.

He suddenly opened his eyes, and in those deep eyes was a beast-like vigilance and horror forged in the mountains of corpses and seas of blood of the apocalypse.

He stiffly turned his head to look at Ruan Tang, who was fast asleep beside him.

The little girl was fast asleep, a cute red mark pressed against her fair cheek on the pillow, completely unaware of the enormous danger lurking around her.

He reached out his hand.

The hand that could easily crush an enemy's throat in the apocalypse was now trembling uncontrollably.

His fingertips stopped abruptly just before touching her soft cheek.

He feared that his uncontrolled sharpness might hurt her.

Yan Yu took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the turmoil in his heart, and his movements became gentle again.

"Tangtang, wake up."

"Mmm..." Ruan Tang hummed sleepily, turned over, and like a kitten, skillfully snuggled into his arms, rubbing her little head against his firm chest, looking for a more comfortable position.

"Brother...sleep a little longer..."

Her voice was muffled, filled with sleepiness and a babyish tone, soft and sweet.

Yan Yu's heart softened instantly, but the "deadly sword" hanging in his dantian made him dare not delay for even a moment.

"Tangtang, can you take a look at my spiritual root? It seems... something's not right."

His voice was so hoarse and tense that he himself didn't even realize it.

Upon hearing this, Ruan Tang's sleepiness vanished instantly.

She sat up, rubbing her sleepy eyes, and gave a delicate little yawn, her watery almond-shaped eyes still misty.

"What's the matter?"

Yan Yu didn't say anything, but directly took her soft little hand and placed it on his lower abdomen.

Her hands were small, still warm from just coming out of bed. Through the thin fabric, Yan Yu could clearly feel the softness of her palms, and only this softness could calm his wildly beating heart.

He guided her to separate a wisp of her consciousness and probe it into his body.

The next second, Ruan Tang was completely stunned.

Her little mouth was agape in an "O" shape, her eyes were wide open, and she even forgot to finish yawning.

"My God! What... what is this thing?!"

She was quite knowledgeable, but she had never seen or even heard of such a situation before!

She subconsciously looked inward at her dantian as well.

Within her dantian, the Water Spirit Root resembled a clear lake, tranquil and gentle. Beside the lake, a small Ruomu tree took root, its branches and leaves unfurling, full of vitality, a scene of peace and harmony.

“Back in the cultivation world, I had both water and earth spiritual roots, which lived side by side in my dantian and were quite well-behaved.” Ruan Tang withdrew her divine sense, tilted her head, and looked confused and shocked. “Although I only have water spiritual roots in my dantian now, the Ruomu tree growing next to it means that the two powers coexist… But yours, how… how did it grow into a sword by itself?”

She couldn't explain what was going on either.

"How about we go take a look in my space?" Ruan Tang's eyes lit up. "My library has so many books, maybe there are some relevant records!"

"Okay." Yan Yu nodded.

The two of them had a thought, and the next second they appeared in Ruan Tang's space.

Little Bai, who was sleeping soundly while hugging Ruan Tang's pajama sleeve, was also brought in.

The little guy was suddenly thrown into a new environment and was momentarily confused. His two small, dark purple eyes blinked blankly for a moment before he realized what was happening and dashed off like a whirlwind. (This chapter has been read.
