Her long silver hair cascaded down like a waterfall, her upper body was that of a woman, and her skin was so white it was almost bloodless, like the finest jade.
Its lower body is a large fish tail covered with fine blue scales, beautiful and powerful.
They are mermaids.
This legendary creature was being tied to a dead coral tree by countless strands of black seaweed as thick as an arm.
The seaweed wriggled as if it were alive, covered in twisted curse runes. One end was embedded in the merman's body, while the other end was connected to the ground, sucking her life and spiritual power.
The merman had his eyes closed, his chest was still rising and falling slightly, and his face was full of pain.
Her breath was so weak it was almost gone.
As soon as Ruan Tang approached, the "Azure Vine Cloud Mist Technique" within her body began to swirl on its own, creating a strange resonance with the remaining spiritual energy on the merman.

"We can't force it."
She pointed to the wriggling black seaweed, her expression serious.
“Look, these curses are already entangled with her body and soul. If you forcibly sever them, her life will end as well.”
Yan Yu frowned and obediently put away the lightning in his hand.
Ruan Tang walked quickly around the merman, her mind racing.
Ordinary healing spells won't work; the curse must be removed first.
The curse can be removed without harming her very essence.

Ruan Tang's eyes lit up as a secret technique she had found in an ancient book of the Beast Taming Sect came to mind.
"Ah Yu, you protect me. Keep an eye on everything around you and don't let anything disturb me."
She gave him a solemn instruction.
"This process could very well trigger a backlash from the source of the curse."
Yan Yu nodded vigorously. His tall figure stood firmly behind Ruan Tang like a mountain. His mental perception covered the surrounding hundreds of feet. Every strange flow of water and every tremor of shadow was imprinted in his mind.
Ruan Tang sat down cross-legged in front of the mermaid.
"noob!"
"squeak!"
A white shadow flashed by, and Little White appeared on her shoulder, its big, dark purple eyes sparkling as it understood the situation before it.
"Wait a minute, I'll force the curse out of her body. You're in charge of eating it all and purifying it. Can you do that?"
