His tone was calm, yet it exuded an undeniable domineering air.
Ruan Tang smiled sweetly; she knew this man would spoil her unconditionally.
Ruan Tang nodded obediently, straightened up and kissed him on the chin, "I'll listen to whatever you say, brother."
Just as the two had finished discussing their plan, a series of hurried and chaotic footsteps came from outside the courtyard gate, followed by a series of loud knocks on the door, accompanied by Chen Fengshan's anxious voice.
"Yan, the educated youth? Ruan, the educated youth? Are you home?"
Yan Yu and Ruan Tang exchanged a glance, both seeing understanding in each other's eyes.
They arrived quite quickly.
Yan Yu got up and opened the courtyard gate. Chen Fengshan's dark, square face was flushed red, and his forehead was covered in sweat. As soon as he saw Yan Yu, he looked at him as if he had seen a savior, and rubbed his hands with a guilty expression.
"Oh dear! Yan Zhiqing, Ruan Zhiqing, I'm so sorry! It's all my fault! That old man Han is like a rock in a latrine, smelly and hard, please don't take him seriously!"
He kept apologizing; he was practically bowing.
Ruan Tang peeked out from behind Yan Yu at the opportune moment, her expression still somewhat aggrieved, her voice muffled: "Uncle Chen, we know this isn't your fault, it's just... we dare not go to the clinic again."
"That's right, that's right!" Chen Fengshan nodded repeatedly. "No way! We won't go to places like that! Ruan Zhiqing, what kind of job do you want to switch to? Just tell me, and Uncle will arrange it for you!"
Ruan Tang hesitated for a moment before whispering, "How about... I go cut pig feed? It's quiet there."

In yesterday's meeting, they discussed and agreed that even if Yan, the educated youth, said he didn't want this technical position, he would still go to work on weekdays, and they would still set one for him, with 12 work points or more, just in case they were wronging a talented person.
Now that they've offered it to him and even solved Ruan Zhiqing's job issue in the process, how could he possibly refuse?
