Chapter 29 A Clash on a Narrow Path (1/2)

"Hey comrade, please watch your step!"

The train conductors began checking tickets in each carriage.

The train attendant was a young man, who looked to be no more than twenty-eight or twenty-nine years old.

The young man was referring to Huang Danjiao.

There was a pile of sunflower seed shells at Huang Danjiao's feet.

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

The train attendant frowned. The girl looked quite clean, but the ground was covered with sunflower seed shells.

Well-mannered passengers know to put all their trash in one bag, but the young girl in front of me clearly didn't.

"I'm eating sunflower seeds, what's it to you!"

"What, you can't even eat sunflower seeds on the train anymore!"

"You're really meddling!"

"Besides, all you do is clean!"

"In a bit, you can sweep the floor right away!"

Huang Danjiao glared at the young man with disdain.

She turned her head away without even glancing at the young man.

The man with the buzz cut next to him chimed in, "Yeah, it's no big deal!"

"Hurry up and grab a broom and sweep the floor!"

"Don't you know what you're doing?!"

The young man frowned even more upon hearing this!

That's incredibly harsh!

The young man stopped moving and said, "Then you guys eat, and clean up your own mess!"

Upon hearing this, Huang Danjiao immediately stood up.

Having always been arrogant and domineering, how could she possibly lose face in front of these people?

"Who are you talking about? What, you don't like revolutionary work?"

"We educated youth all knew to go to the countryside to support the construction!"

"What about you? I need to see your manager!"

Huang Danjiao stood with her hands on her hips, exuding an air of authority, as if she were about to criticize the young man right now.

Several boys nearby chimed in, "Yeah, you're just a street sweeper!"

"That's right, that's right. If you don't sweep, I'm telling you, I'll go find your manager!"

"Honestly, some people, they complain about everything, even the smallest things!"

"Revolutionary work always needs to be done by someone!"

The young man felt quite helpless after what these people were saying.

Wu Zhongzhi grabbed the young man by the collar. Because he was taller, half a head taller than the young man, he was very imposing.

Seeing this, an elderly man from Northeast China quickly advised, "No, no, it's not easy being away from home!"

The old man quickly went up and separated the two people.

The aunt from Northeast China stepped forward and advised, "Yes, it's just a small matter, it's not a big deal!"

A middle-aged woman in Huang Danjiao's carriage also said directly, "Yes, don't take it to heart. Look at your appearance, you're obviously college students, don't mind!"

As they were talking, Wu Zhongzhi caught sight of Shen Qingran with a glance.

Wu Zhongzhi released his grip and stared blankly at Shen Qingran: "Oh my, isn't this Miss Shen?"

"What, not taking a sleeper train today, but experiencing the life of ordinary people?"

As soon as Wu Zhongzhi finished speaking, Huang Danjiao and the others couldn't sit still and came over immediately.

Looking at it this way, it really is Shen Qingran!

The group stared at Shen Qingran as if they had entered a zoo.

Huang Danjiao spat on the ground: "Pah! Who do we think it is!"

"So she's a capitalist lady!"

Shen Qingran immediately glanced sideways at Huang Danjiao.

"Young lady, we don't know each other. You can eat whatever you want, but you can't say whatever you want!"

These days, Shen Qingran knows exactly what it means for a capitalist's daughter to be known by the public.

Isn't this obviously looking for trouble?

Perhaps intimidated by Shen Qingran, Huang Danjiao and the others with the crew cut sat back in their own carriages.

The train attendant, holding his breath, lowered his head and began cleaning.
