These questions lingered in Xie Zhiyan's mind, but in the end, they all turned into relief. He was relieved that he was still alive and that Shu Ying truly loved him. They finally had a family, which was more fulfilling than anyone else's.
Shu Ying silently shed tears. In the end, she hugged Xie Zhiyan tightly, her voice a little hoarse, "If only I could go back to when my parents were still alive and protect them. I really miss them. My parents always said I was a child who never grew up, but after they left me, no one has treated me like a child anymore. I'm so tired."
Xie Zhiyan remained silent, simply experiencing Shu Ying's pain firsthand. After a long while, he felt a cool sensation on his face and, upon touching it, realized that he too had shed tears.
He was surprised by his own emotions. He had hardly shed a tear since he became an adult, but this time, he felt sorry for Shu Ying's experience and her current situation.

At the Fang family home, Wang Yayun deftly cleared the table of dishes. Since Xie Wanying became pregnant, she had almost never let her lift a finger in the house.
"Wanying, you're already four months along, and your baby will start to show soon. You really need to get plenty of rest during this time. Go to sleep right after you finished eating. The baby can only grow when you're resting. The most important thing right now is not to affect the baby's development."
Xie Wanying's smile froze. Her daily life consisted of eating and sleeping, and she was practically like a pig. How could she possibly fall asleep after eating so much?
"Mom, I've been feeling really stuffy staying at home these past few days. I'd like to go out for some fresh air. Besides, it's not good for the baby if I keep lying here like this. It will only make childbirth more difficult."
She has become much rounder in the past two months. Ever since she announced her pregnancy, Wang Yayun has been feeding her almost everything, from fresh milk to crucian carp soup, until her belly is bulging. Now she has to go to sleep right away. Even a pig couldn't stand this kind of lifestyle.
Wang Yayun stared at her belly with a radiant smile, her only concern being for her unborn grandson.
"That won't do. Your pregnancy isn't stable yet, and you're not like a normal person. When I was pregnant, I was still working in the fields when I was almost due, but my body was strong. It's different. After so many years of marriage, it's not easy to get pregnant. We have to be careful. If anything goes wrong, wouldn't it be a huge loss? Just listen to me, rest at home, and leave everything else to me."
Xie Wanying's face turned somewhat pale. Just as she was hesitating about what to say next, Wang Yayun pushed her into the bedroom without saying a word.
“I’ve noticed your belly has gotten quite a bit bigger these past few days. It looks like the baby is growing well. Even if it’s just for the baby, you should try to hold on a little longer. Besides, it’s just a matter of resting in bed. You’re lucky to have this kind of blessing. Just focus on your pregnancy. Nothing is more important than my grandson right now.”
Xie Wanying looked down at herself, gently touching her lower abdomen. She knew better than anyone whether she was pregnant or not.
The reason her belly is showing is simply because she's been eating so much lately; she's just gained weight.
When she weighed herself this morning, she found that she had gained 12 pounds compared to before, and when she looked in the mirror, she noticed that her face was much rounder.
