“My parents came over and just chatted about everyday things. They asked me how I was doing. Because we came back in a hurry, and Shuying and the child were with us, we didn’t stay here for too long.”
She dared not let Fang Deshan know that she had taken the money out, so she could only give a vague response.
Fang Deshan nodded. He was just eager to know if Xie Wenyuan and Huang Meiling had been promoted. It was a crucial time for the factory to select a factory manager. If he was lucky, he might be able to rise through the ranks by relying on their relationship.

Xie Wanying looked anxious and quickly waved her hand, "No need, his injury isn't very serious this time, he'll be discharged soon. Why don't we wait until he's discharged before going? Fang Deshan tried to glean something from Xie Wanying's face; he felt something was off about her today.
