The women smiled and waved.
"Preventing bad guys from harming good people is something we should all do!"
On the other side, two police cars carrying Qi Xiaozhen and Xie Wanying were halfway there when one of them suddenly received a mission and needed to temporarily change direction.
Qi Xiaozhen was thus forced to transfer from another car into the car where Xie Wanying was.
The two were seated on either side of the back seat of the car, with a strong and muscular male police officer between them.
Just as Qi Xiaozhen opened the car door and before she could even get in, the two locked eyes, and a thick sense of tension filled the air.
Xie Wanying and Qi Xiaozhen glared at each other fiercely, neither of them looking too happy.
As soon as the car started, Xie Wanying began to speak sarcastically.
"Heh, seeing how swiftly you betrayed me, I thought you were really confident that you could get that bitch Shu Ying to go easy on you and only arrest me."
"Looks like it's still no use. You sold me out so completely, but in the end you're still going to be taken to the police station with me, aren't you?"
"A despicable person who betrays their friends."
Upon hearing this, Qi Xiaozhen's eyes widened instantly, and she pointed to her own nose.
"You're saying I betrayed my friends? Xie Wanying, how could you say that?"
"Didn't you betray me first? And don't think I don't know that for so long you've never considered me a friend. You've been using me all along. I'm just a pawn in your game."
"If you hadn't betrayed me by stealing the blood pack for you, would I have ended up in the police station?"
"Now even my relatives are suffering because of me. How am I supposed to live with my family in the future? My parents might not even acknowledge me anymore!"
"Tell me, how are you going to compensate me for my losses!"
Xie Wanying became increasingly smug as she listened, and chuckled and snorted from the side.
"That's what you deserve! A worthless piece of trash like you was never meant to be anything. The greatest use you've ever had is to be able to be used by me. What do you think you are? You're no different from the garbage in the dump!"
"You're still not satisfied? Let me tell you, I planned this perfectly. Maybe it's just that your bad luck has affected me, that's why I'm so unlucky!"
"Who are you calling a scumbag?"
"I'm talking to you, you useless piece of trash, you slut!"
The two men raised their voices higher and higher, spitting as they argued.
The police officer sitting in the middle got sprayed in the face with spittle, and his ears were almost deafened. Just as he pressed one down, the other started arguing back with his neck stiffened.
Pressing this button starts another argument; it's endless.
Finally, unable to bear it any longer, he shouted in a voice louder than the two of them—
"Shut up, all of you! What's all the fuss about? You'll have your say at the police station later!"
The two men were temporarily intimidated by the police officer's imposing manner and could only grit their teeth and glare at each other.
While glaring at Qi Xiaozhen, Xie Wanying silently cursed all the culprits who had caused her to look like this.
She's completely abandoned by everyone now. Her in-laws were just using her, so they definitely won't help her anymore.
Especially that mother-in-law, she wasn't really good to her daughter-in-law to begin with, all she wanted was for her to give her a grandson.
Needless to say, her husband had long been fed up with her.
