Shu Ying tilted her head back, her breath warm against her face, and squinted her eyes in enjoyment: "Ding Rumei has left, so there won't be so much trouble in this house anymore. She reflected on the recent events, thankfully those who had caused her distress were gone.

"You're back. How did things go with your discussions with Mom and Dad?"
Shu Ying was about to get up, supporting herself with one hand, when Xie Zhiyan's breath hitched and he stared at her intently.
She doesn't even need to dress up specially; just by appearing in this room, she becomes an irreplaceable presence.
He swallowed hard, straightening his stiff back even more.
As Shu Ying's nightgown strap slipped off her shoulder, he strode over, his gaze becoming even more intense, and naturally sat down on the edge of the bed, approaching Shu Ying.
The space next to her suddenly caved in a little, and Shu Ying looked up to meet the other person's burning gaze, only then belatedly realizing the feelings between them.
She turned her head away in a fluster, a blush creeping onto her face.
Shu Ying had just taken a shower, and her body was still slightly damp. Her hair smelled wonderful, as if she were bathing in a sea of flowers.
