Huang Meiling had thought it through carefully; she had already considered it on her way here.
Although she had always genuinely raised Xie Wanying as her daughter, her actions over the years had already broken the hearts of the couple.
Since she has never taken them, her parents, seriously, there's no need for them to try and win her over.
“You’re right, they’ll get what they deserve. But once the results are out, it’s important to move your sister’s household registration to Beijing first. And that name, it’s just too unfair! Their household registration is with the military, and He Caixia has not been able to find them yet, presumably because she hasn't had the opportunity.

Shu Ying watched this scene under the streetlights, and was so moved that she wiped away tears.
Xie Zhiyan noticed that her mood was off, so he reached out and hooked her little finger.
"You were just comforting Mom and my older sister, how come you're crying here all of a sudden?"
Shu Ying turned away and wiped away her tears, scolding him playfully, "I'm clearly happy. It's a joyous occasion of reuniting after a long separation, and I'm crying tears of joy."
Xie Zhiyan smiled as he put one arm around Shu Ying's shoulder, guiding her onto the inside of the road while he stood outside to block the pedestrians.
"Okay, okay, this is indeed something to be happy about. When the results are announced, our family will have a good celebration. It's just a pity that Dad couldn't come back today, otherwise we could have a family reunion dinner tomorrow."
Shu Ying smiled and walked forward at a leisurely pace. Looking at Huang Meiling and Song Zhaodi in front of her, she could tell they were a real mother and daughter.
"We have plenty of time ahead of us, so there's no rush."
As Huang Meiling and Song Zhaodi were talking, tears started falling again. Xie Zhiyan took a step forward, casting his tall shadow on the ground.
"Mom, let's go back and talk first. It's not very convenient with people coming and going outside."
Xie Wanying hasn't received any news yet, but there are hardly any secrets in the compound. Huang Meiling will be back tonight, and the news will spread first thing tomorrow morning.
Huang Meiling wiped away her tears, but she couldn't bear to let go of Song Zhaodi's hand.
“We came back in a hurry last time, otherwise your father and I would have met you much earlier. But it’s okay. I heard from Yingying that you’ve been trying to learn new things lately. Is there anything you’re particularly interested in? If you have any difficulties with your studies, just let us know. Although we’re not a very wealthy family, we do have some connections.”
Under the dim streetlights, there weren't many pedestrians. Xie Zhiyan curled the corners of his lips, finally feeling that things were back on track.
Song Zhaodi glanced gratefully at Shu Ying, thinking of her help during this time, and felt even warmer inside.
“I’m learning sewing with Qingqing, but I haven’t been doing it for very long. I don’t have any special skills. People say it’s always good to have more skills, so I’m thinking of learning more so that I can use them in the future.”
Even if she really is Xie's daughter, she can't just rely on her family's wealth and live off them. She'll only have more confidence if she can earn her own money.
Both Shu Ying and Li Qingqing were giving her practical lessons.
