"Ruhua, let's beat him up."
Mo Wuwei was frightened when he heard it in the bathroom. It was not because the old woman insulted him, but because a girl had fought with someone else because of him, which made him feel uneasy.
Finally he came out and opened the door.
Seeing the two women pressing down on Lin Ruyan and beating her, he immediately shouted, "Stop it!"
The three of them instinctively stopped and looked at him. The old woman, feeling resentful, continued to use him to mock Lin Rongyan.
"Hey, it's out. I know you got beaten for flirting with that little woman. Are you heartbroken?"
"You." Mo Wuwei wasn't good at arguing with people, especially with a sharp-tongued rural woman. "Please be careful with your words. I heard it all, and you've always been the one being rude."
Lin Ruyan was very happy to see him scolding the old woman but not herself.
The old woman spat, "Ah, don't try that on me. You scholars, you appear to be polite on the surface, but who knows how many wicked schemes you have in your heads. You can't seduce an older man, so seduce a young girl. Otherwise, she won't agree to meet my nephew."
Lin Ruyan retorted, "I won't even look at your nephew. I won't even look at him if I can't get married."

The old woman and her daughter-in-law held Lin Ruyan down and beat her again.
Mo Wuwei was standing there anxiously, when suddenly he shouted, "The captain is here!"
When the old woman and her daughter-in-law looked up, they saw the team leader coming from the other side. They were not in the right to bully the minority with their numbers, so they quickly stood up and ran away with her daughter-in-law.
Lin Ruyan's nose was bleeding, and her forehead and neck were scratched by the two men, leaving bloody marks, not to mention the injuries on other parts of her body.
But she stood up with a smile and said to Mo Wuwei, "Teacher, thank you, thank you for coming out to save me."
Mo Wuwei looked at the exposed wounds on her body. The bright red was a bit dazzling, but she was still smiling and thanking him with a smile. It was definitely because of him that she was injured.
"Lin Ruyan, please stop doing this. You're hurting yourself."
"Teacher, I'm very happy that you care about me. I'm flattered." Can the teacher forgive her?
Mo Wuwei moved his lips and said, "Lin Ruyan, I just heard that woman scolding me, so you fought with her.
What I mean is, you don’t have to fight with others for me, or if you want to fight with someone else, don’t involve me.”
Mo Wuwei felt heavy in his heart. Maybe his words would hurt Lin Ruyan, but he really didn't want to continue like this. He had to put an end to everything between him and Lin Ruyan.
Lin Ruyan's excitement immediately faded into a depressed mood. She shook her head and asked herself:
"Teacher, am I wrong again? No, you won't blame me. No, no, I'm not wrong. She just scolded the teacher, and I hit her. I'm not wrong. I'm not wrong."
"Lin Ruyan, I don't need you to help me. It's my own fault that others insult and humiliate me. Could you please stop interfering?

"I am a bad person. I have committed heinous crimes."
"Lin Ruyan, what are you doing?!" Mo Wuwei yelled at her.
She seemed not to hear and continued to hit herself.
Bang!
"I deserve to die without a burial place. I deserve to go to hell. All my sins are my own fault."
Bang!
"I……"
"Lin Ruyan, stop hitting me."
