The three arrived at the movie theater entrance, but were stopped outside by staff because they hadn't been able to buy tickets.
Sang Feiyu stared blankly at the conspicuous red banner at the entrance of the movie theater, while Gao Jinfeng anxiously said from the side, "Comrade, I just want to go see my cousin, could you make an exception?"
"You have to buy a ticket if you want to find someone."
Hearing the other party's unyielding words, Gao Jinfeng had no choice but to pay for the ticket.
She went in alone, while He Meiling and Sang Feiyu waited for her outside.
Gao Jinfeng went inside and came out nearly ten minutes later, looking worried. "I didn't see my cousin."
"I didn't see that young man either."
Sang Feiyu hurriedly asked a staff member for details, describing the appearance of Gao Jinfeng's cousin and the young man. However, the staff member replied directly, "With so many people coming to see the movie, how could I possibly remember them all?"
Gao Jinfeng panicked completely. "Xiaoyu, what should we do?"
"Could that young man be a con artist?"
Sang Feiyu tried to remain calm, "Do you know where the young man lives?"
“He’s not a local; he was introduced to me by my cousin’s colleague.”
Sang Feiyu then asked, "Do you know her colleague?"
"I don't know him."
“Let’s split up and look for him. If we still haven’t found him after an hour, we’ll go to your cousin’s workplace to inquire, and then we’ll decide whether to report him to the police.”
When Gao Jinfeng heard that the police should be called, her legs went weak. Was it that serious?
Without time to think further, everyone split up to search for the person.
"Love red!"
"Li Aihong!"
An hour later, the three met at the agreed location. "Did you find it?"
"No!"
Gao Jinfeng was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, "Then let's go to my cousin's workplace now."
"Uh-huh."
So the three of them went to a nearby textile factory. The factory was closed for the day, and there was only an old man guarding the gate. How would the security guard know who had introduced Li Aihong to a potential partner?
So they had no choice but to go to the police station to report the case.
"You're overthinking it. It's normal for two adults to go a little further apart when they're dating. Maybe they're just trying to avoid being followed by you."
"You guys are really something, following people around on blind dates so closely, how are they supposed to find a partner?"
Sang Feiyu, with a clear mind, said, "The other party's behavior is problematic."
"They met for the first time today. The young man has never seen my colleague's cousin before. How can he be sure that his blind date is his type?"
"Isn't he worried about wasting two movie tickets?"
"Most importantly, my colleague went into the movie theater and didn't see the two of them at all. They said they were going to see a movie, but they weren't there. I hope the police station will take this matter seriously, otherwise we won't be able to bear the responsibility if something happens."
"They've only been missing for a few hours, we can't file a case!" the police officer said apologetically.
"Rules are rigid, but people are flexible."
"I hope you can make an exception this time," Sang Feiyu said, frowning.
"No, if everyone reports cases based on guesswork like you, then no one in our police station will ever get off work."
The three had no choice but to leave temporarily.
"Sister Jin Feng, let's ask your cousin's boss for help."
From a young age, her parents told her that if someone invited her out to play, she could only go to the agreed-upon place, and she could not go if the place was changed halfway through.
