Sang Feiyu thought for a moment before saying, "Grandma, Grandma Zhang is not in a clear mind right now. Actually, we can take her to the space for treatment."
Zhao Hui's eyes lit up after hearing Sang Feiyu's words. How come she hadn't thought of that?
Grandma Zhang is her best friend of decades; she can't let anything happen to her.
After discussing it for a while, the three decided to take Grandma Zhang to stay in the space for a few days.
That evening, Zhao Hui and Sang Youde came together. Zhao Hui got straight to the point and stated the purpose of their visit.
"Aunt Zhao, given our current situation, won't taking my mother away cause you trouble?" Grandma Zhang's son asked worriedly.
"No, your mother is in this condition. Even if others see it, they will just turn a blind eye."
"Also, if anyone comes to visit these next few days, try not to let them in."
"We will send your mother back within the agreed time."
"Yes, don't worry, no one usually comes to this place."
Zhao Hui glanced at the time. "It's getting late. We need to take your mother away first."
"You're all inside, so don't bother seeing us off. Too many people will attract attention."
Sang Youde chimed in, "That's right, we've been here many times, we know the way well, you don't need to see us off, just stay inside and be comfortable."
Despite saying that, Zhang's son and daughter-in-law, a family of four, still stood at the door and watched them walk away before reluctantly closing the door.
"Honey, do you think Mom will really get better this time?"
"It will definitely get better. If you don't believe me, don't you believe Aunt Zhao?"
“There’s a military hospital there, so I guess they took my mom there for treatment.”
Zhao Hui walked halfway and quietly turned back. She saw that Grandma Zhang's door was already closed, and she breathed a sigh of relief, whispering, "It's okay now."
The next second, Zhao Hui, Sang Youde, and Granny Zhang all appeared in the space.
Grandma Zhang thought she was dreaming. "Ah Hui, I dreamed about you."
Zhao Hui helped the old woman to a chair. "Old Zhang, just stay here. When you wake up from your dream, your illness will be cured."
“But when you wake up, you can’t tell anyone what you dreamed about, or your illness won’t get better. You have to think about your son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.”
When Granny Zhang heard that her illness could be cured in her dreams, she looked obedient and said, "I won't tell anyone about what's going on here."
At the other end, Sang Youde quickly filled the table in front of him with roast goose, braised chicken feet, water chestnut cake, rice noodle rolls, and more...
These are all delicacies from Guangzhou, and they're things that Grandma Zhang used to eat often.
Zhao Hui handed Grandma Zhang a pair of chopsticks, saying, "Grandma Zhang, try these, they're all your favorites."
"Ah Hui, you're so good to me. I haven't eaten these in so long. I really miss them."
Although it was a dream, Grandma Zhang's feelings were so real.
Her hand trembled slightly as she held the chopsticks, but she managed to pick up a piece of roast goose steadily.
After taking a bite, her cloudy eyes finally lit up. "This is the taste! It tastes like the restaurant near my house!"
She never dreamed that one day she would be able to eat this again.
This dream is so wonderful; if she could, she wouldn't want to wake up again.
But when she thought of her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson still outside, she gave up the idea. No matter how good the dream was, it was not as good as a family reunion.
After eating and drinking her fill, Grandma Zhang started to feel sleepy, so Zhao Hui quickly helped her back to her room to take a nap.
Zhao Hui and Sang Youde also quickly caught up on their sleep, otherwise they wouldn't have any energy during the day.
The next morning, when Zhao Hui and Sang Youde came out of the space, Ning Zhiyuan had already prepared breakfast.
