Chapter 18 Blind Date (1/2)

Sang Feiyu looked at the two elderly people covered in injuries, but felt no emotion whatsoever.

They cursed her to die and reported her to the Revolutionary Committee, but she was just doing what they had done, and she didn't feel any guilt whatsoever.

Old Mrs. Tao's eyes seemed to be filled with venom. "Did you do this?"

Sang Feiyu's voice was icy cold. "That's right."

"I filed a formal complaint against you for protecting others' crimes and for slandering others. You have serious ideological problems..."

"You filed a formal complaint against me, and I learned it from you. You have only yourselves to blame."

Old Tao cursed in a deep voice, "You shouldn't have been born in the first place!"

Old Mrs. Tao then launched into a tirade, "You killed your parents, and now you're trying to kill us too! You're a wicked devil!"

When her parents were mentioned, Sang Feiyu's eyes darkened.

She came here today to tell them the truth about her parents' death!

"Tao Jiaxing and Liu Ying conspired to bribe a mechanic at a repair shop to tamper with my parents' car."

"They killed my parents!"

"You're blaming me for my parents' deaths, I don't accept that!"

Grandma Tao didn't believe Sang Feiyu's words at all. "You've already brought us all in here. Are you happy now?"

"What's the point of saying all this?"

Will the second son and his wife ever come back?

Sang Feiyu knew they still didn't believe her, and she forced a smile. "Believe it or not, it's up to you."

"Anyway, the mechanic has already admitted it, and Liu Ying even gave him three big yellow croakers. Otherwise, how do you think they got arrested again?"

Grandma Tao stared in disbelief. "What exactly do you want to do?"

Are you trying to force us to our deaths?

Sang Feiyu said, enunciating each word clearly: "Your most favored eldest son and his wife were the ones who orchestrated the murder of my parents!"

"I have said everything I needed to say."

She turned and left after she finished speaking.

Grandma Tao muttered a few curses at her, but then felt that something was amiss.

They've all come in, so why should Sang Feiyu lie to them?

Are you deliberately trying to drive them crazy?

Just then, a woman wearing a red armband happened to pass by and instinctively asked about the matter.

"Oh, it's true."

"In order to exploit the family's inhabitants, Tao Jiaxing and his wife spent a lot of money to hire someone to tamper with Tao Jialin's car."

"If that mechanic hadn't suddenly quit his job and gone back to his hometown, the police wouldn't have found the murderer so quickly."

"The police also found three large yellow croakers on him, which were said to have been given to him by Liu Ying."

Grandma Tao exclaimed in surprise, "What did you say?"

Her eyes rolled back and she fainted.

Old Tao's condition wasn't much better either; he always believed that his second son and his wife had been cursed to death by Sang Feiyu!

I never imagined that he was killed by the eldest son and his wife!

Why did they do that?

The second son has no sons, so all the family property will eventually belong to the eldest sons. Why can't they wait a little longer?

After waking up, Grandma Tao spent her days in tears, sobbing and crying.

"What a terrible thing!"

"My second child died so tragically!"

"Waaah..."

Sang Feiyu was unaware of any of this; she was currently on a blind date at a state-run restaurant.

It's strange, really. From Fujian Province to Guangzhou, plus the other party having to apply for leave, it should take at least three or four days, right?

Did they take the train here that very night after the phone call?

She met Ning Zhiyuan's gaze with a puzzled look. His eyes were gleaming as he stared intently at her.

Sang Feiyu didn't rush to look away, but instead carefully examined Ning Zhiyuan.

He had striking eyebrows and bright eyes, well-defined features, and every detail on his face was just right.
