Chapter 181 Daily Childcare Routine (2/2)

They had no choice but to take their child out for a stroll.

Most people in the family compound don't go back to their hometowns for the Spring Festival, so they often run into acquaintances when they go out.

Little Domi played well with the other children, and Sang Feiyu and Ning Zhiyuan only needed to watch from the sidelines.

The two were happy to relax, but they didn't dare to let their guard down, keeping their eyes fixed on Xiao Duomi's figure.

While the other children were being called home by their parents for lunch, Xiao Duomi was still reluctant to go home.

Ning Zhiyuan gently coaxed her, "Little Domi, let's go back and have lunch first, take a nap, and then come out to play again, okay?"

Sang Feiyu simply carried Xiao Duomi back home.

Sometimes, spoiling children too much will only harm them.

They'll be the ones who get tired later.

She felt it was necessary to cultivate children's correct sense of time, and to teach them what to do and when.

"Little Domi, it's mealtime now. What should we do during mealtime?"

Little Domi thought for a moment, "But Mom, I want to go out and play."

“You can go out and play, but if you get hungry after mealtime, there will be nothing to eat.”

Sang Feiyu spoke to her in a completely consultative tone, and Xiao Duomi felt that her mother was not joking with her, so she could only obediently eat her meal.

Ning Zhiyuan gave Sang Feiyu an admiring look; his wife was truly impressive.

Ning Zhiyuan is first-rate at handling affairs, but when it comes to disciplining children, he still can't bring himself to be ruthless.

The child saw this in him, and that's how he learned to manipulate his father.

Children are actually much smarter than we adults imagine.

After Xiao Duomi finished eating, Sang Feiyu asked, "Xiao Duomi, do you want to take a nap or go out to play?"

"Mom, I want to go out and play."

Sang Feiyu respects the child's opinion and takes Xiao Duomi out to fly.

However, around three or four in the afternoon, Xiao Duomi became so sleepy that Sang Feiyu would wake her up every time she tried to close her eyes.

"Little Domi, if you fall asleep now, you won't want to sleep tonight. Dad and Mom have to go to work tomorrow, so we can't stay up with you."

Little Domi usually naps for 2 to 3 hours during the day. If she sleeps now, she won't wake up until 5 or 6 o'clock. If she's awake at night, she might not go to sleep until the early hours of the morning.

Nighttime is a crucial time for a child's growth, and Sang Feiyu didn't want to disrupt her child's biological clock.

Little Domi tried very hard to keep her eyelids open, and Sang Feiyu took her to play games to distract her, which helped her barely stay awake until five or six o'clock.

In the end, she couldn't help but fall asleep.

Sang Feiyu knew she was tired from playing all day and felt sorry for her, so she didn't have the heart to wake her up.

Being a parent can be quite contradictory at times.

On the one hand, I feel sorry for my child, and on the other hand, I am concerned about her health and want to adjust some of her behavioral habits.

Xiao Duomi slept straight through until 5 a.m. the next day. When she woke up, Sang Feiyu and Ning Zhiyuan were still asleep.

As she lay obediently in bed without moving, Ning Zhiyuan woke up at 5:30 and found that his daughter was awake.

Ning Zhiyuan gently carried Xiao Duomi to the living room before asking, "Xiao Duomi, are you hungry?"

Little Domi rubbed his tummy and said, "Daddy, I'm so hungry."

She went to bed without eating last night, so of course she's hungry.

Ning Zhiyuan took Xiao Duomi to wash up before making her a cup of formula.
