As soon as Ning Yifei got home from work, Tang Anning nudged her son, Duoduo, who could only say with a forced smile, "Dad, I miss Grandpa and Grandma."
When can I visit my grandparents?
These were all words that Tang Anning taught him to say.
Ning Yifei picked at his ear. Had he heard correctly?
His son used to hate going to his maternal grandparents' house.
Tang Anning beat him quite a few times because of this incident.
He squatted down to be at eye level with his son, "Duoduo, didn't you dislike them?"
Why would you want to visit them?
Duoduo glanced at her mother subconsciously before stammering, "I love my grandparents the most."
Ning Yifei understood everything. He pressed down on the man's shoulder, stared into his eyes, and asked seriously, "Did your mother force you?"
Duo Duo didn't dare say yes, but she didn't say no either.
Tang Anning quickly said, "Don't wrong me. The child misses his maternal grandparents and asked me to take him to see them. I don't have the ability to get them out, so he asked you to take him."
Ning Yifei took a candy out of his pocket, unwrapped it, and put the candy inside into Duoduo's mouth.
"Let's go out and find some friends to play with."
Duoduo didn't dare to look at her mother even once, and ran out the door as soon as she opened it.
Ning Yifei got up and locked the door from the inside.
He exuded a terrifying aura, which made Tang Anning shiver involuntarily.
"Ning Yifei, what are you trying to do?"
Ning Yifei looked down at his fist, which he had clenched into a fist at some point. "I thought that if I respected you and cared for you, you would change."
"Because of you, my parents disowned me and kicked me out of the house."
"Now you actually want to mess with Duoduo?"
"Dodo is my bottom line, don't you know that?"
Tang Anning wanted to explain, but before she could speak, she was stunned by a punch. She saw stars and her mind was in a mess.
"Tang Anning, since you still won't listen to me even when I treat you well, then I'll have to treat you in a way that will make you listen!"
"If I ever catch you causing trouble again, I'll teach you a lesson!"
As Ning Yifei spoke, he slapped him across the face!
Tang Anning's face burned, as if it had been scorched by flames. "Ning Yifei, how dare you hit me?"
"I was too good to you before, that's why you didn't appreciate it."
"I hereby declare that your good days are over, starting today."
Ning Yifei pulled out a belt and whipped her hard until Tang Anning was too weak to even scream before he stopped.
"I hope you'll remember this lesson in the future, otherwise, next time, I'll beat you even harder."
After Ning Yifei finished speaking, he walked straight out.
Tang Anning was shocked. How could this be?
She felt a sense of despair, as if the whole world had abandoned her.
