To further verify her hypothesis, Lin Ying returned to the monitoring panel and tried turning different knobs, observing the changes on the wall hanging. When she turned a knob labeled "Field of View" to the right, the range of light and shadow in the wall hanging significantly expanded, revealing more of the scene. When she turned another knob, "Clarity," the outlines of the light and shadow gradually became clearer, and some details began to appear. Although the image was still somewhat blurry, bearing the marks of time, it was enough for Lin Ying to confirm that this was indeed an old surveillance system.
