These past few days, Lin Ying has been worrying about Hu Zi and Niu Niu's relationship as if she were marrying off her daughter.
Every morning, Lin Ying would take Er Ya, Liu Zi, Hu Zi, and Niu Niu up the mountain. The air on the mountain was exceptionally fresh, and sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, creating patches of light that looked like a golden carpet on the ground.
Tiger and Niu Niu walked ahead, their majestic figures traversing the mountains and forests. Every now and then, they would stop and look back at Lin Ying and the others, as if waiting for them to catch up. Lin Ying looked at them, feeling both gratified and a little reluctant to part. She couldn't help but remind them, "Tiger, Niu Niu, you must keep your eyes wide open and find a suitable mate."
Er Ya and Liu Zi, who were listening nearby, chimed in with their childish voices, "That's right, Hu Zi and Niu Niu, you should find someone pretty and kind to you."
Upon reaching the depths of the forest, Lin Ying stopped, letting Hu Zi and Niu Niu roam freely. She led the children to a relatively open spot to sit, her eyes constantly following the two tigers. Hu Zi proudly shook its fur, raised its head, and let out a deep, long roar, seemingly announcing its arrival. Niu Niu, meanwhile, strolled gracefully to the side, occasionally sniffing the surroundings, searching for any possible mates.
Looking at them, Lin Ying was filled with concern and couldn't help but say to the children, "I wonder if they can find suitable ones. There are a few tigers on this mountain, but I don't know what their temperaments are like."
Liu Zi blinked his big eyes and asked curiously, "Mom, if Hu Zi and Niu Niu can't find anyone they like, will they still come back to live with us?"
Lin Ying patted Liu Zi's head and said with a smile, "Yes, whether they find it or not, our home will always be their home. We welcome them back anytime they want."
As they were talking, several tiger roars echoed from the distant woods, responding to Tiger's roar. Tiger and Niu Niu instantly became alert, their ears perked up, and they looked in the direction of the sound. Lin Ying's heart also jumped. She stood up, nervously watching in that direction, silently praying that everything would go smoothly.
A moment later, several tigers slowly emerged from the woods. They cautiously approached Hu Zi and Niu Niu, sizing each other up. Hu Zi was the first to step forward, circling the tigers a few times and sniffing them from time to time. Niu Niu observed from behind, her eyes filled with caution.
Lin Ying clenched her fists nervously, while Er Ya whispered, "Mommy, what if they start fighting?"
Lin Ying gently comforted her, "Don't be afraid, baby. They're just getting to know each other. If they get along, they can become good friends."
Fortunately, after some initial testing, Tiger seemed to get along quite well with one of the stronger tigers. They started rubbing their heads together and playing on the grass. Niu Niu also gradually became familiar with a seemingly docile female tiger. They walked side by side, occasionally touching each other affectionately.
Seeing this, Lin Ying finally breathed a sigh of relief, a relieved smile appearing on her face: "Oh dear, it seems they are quite destined for each other. I hope they can get along well."
For the next few days, Lin Ying took the children up the mountain every day to see Hu Zi and Niu Niu. Watching them bond better and better with their new companions, Lin Ying's worries gradually lessened. She knew this was their life, and all she could do was quietly watch over them and see them happy.
Although Tiger and Niu Niu have new friends, they still run over happily and play around Lin Ying and her family every time they see them, as if to tell them that no matter what, Lin Ying's family will always be their most important relatives.
Lin Ying was worried when the two tigers didn't have a companion, but now that they have a mate and don't come back at night, Lin Ying is starting to feel a little sad.
This feeling, like marrying off a daughter, is really bittersweet.
Lin Ying looked at Er Ya and thought for a moment: "Daughter, how about we don't get married in the future? Can we find a husband through a private matchmaking service?"
Er Ya had no idea what marriage was; in her eyes, whatever her mother said was right: "Okay~"
Lin Ying was amused by Er Ya's fierce and spirited demeanor. The bitterness in her heart also lessened considerably.
That night, the children were all asleep when Lin Ying heard a sudden noise outside, so she got up and went out.
Then I saw Tiger bring back a female tiger.
When Tiger saw Lin Ying, it went over and rubbed its big head against her, then gestured for her to enter the space.
Lin Ying had raised the two tigers, so she naturally knew their emotions very well.
"You want to take it to live in space?"
"Awoo~"
Lin Ying only realized that the tiger was injured when she saw Hu Zi push the female tiger towards her.
Lin Ying also understood that not all animals are suited to living in the wild, and perhaps this tiger was the one that was eliminated.
Lin Ying, accompanied by Hu Cub, followed a female tiger to the Five Elements Space. Compared to the Medicine Field Space, the Five Elements Space was much larger.
However, to ensure that the area was suitable for animals to live in, Lin Ying moved some of the small animals she was raising in the medicinal herb field there.
After confirming that there would be no problems, I put both of them into my spatial storage.
Lin Ying didn't expect that just after she took in Hu Zi, Niu Niu would also return.
Moreover, he was accompanied by a male tiger that was about the same size as Hu Zi, except that this tiger had white fur.
White tiger? It does have the ability to survive the winter in Northeast China, but it's not the type of animal that tigers would like.
