Chapter 1 Police Station

Chapter 1 Police Station

On a late autumn evening, a police car roared past on Yucheng Road in S City.

The policeman in the driver's seat was a tall and thin man who drove very steadily and quickly. The policeman sitting next to him was very strong, with tight facial lines.

Several people were sitting in the spacious back seat.

Zhou Yang's eyes rolled around as he looked at everyone.

Sitting next to him was a fat-faced police officer, who was now looking around at the other people in the car with a frown;

Opposite the fat policeman were three middle-aged men who were huddled together, shivering, with slightly wretched looks, bruised faces and noses, and evasive glances.

Weird, Zhou Yang didn't remember beating them that hard. He always believed in not hitting people in the face, and just now he only touched the faces of the three people, so their faces shouldn't be swollen like a pig's head.

Sitting opposite him was a tall, handsome man wearing casual clothes of unknown brand, with an indifferent expression. Even sitting, one could tell he was at least 1.8 meters tall. His arms and legs were so long that his calves almost touched his knees.

Besides that, there is also...

Himself.

"Uncle police, I'm innocent!" Zhou Yang shook the handcuffs on his wrists. The "ding-dang" sound scared the three wretched men. After they reacted, the three men moved closer together, while the iceberg man didn't even give him a glance.

Zhou Yang has lived for twenty-five years. As a law-abiding young man, this is his first time riding in a police car and his first time carrying that shiny thing. If he doesn't cry out for justice now, when will he?

"Who is your uncle? I'm twenty-nine!" The fat policeman glanced at his shackled wrists with dissatisfaction and gave him a warning look.

"Brother policeman, I'm innocent!" Zhou Yang shouted without any principles as he had to lower his head while being in the police car.

The fat policeman turned to the handsome man standing next to him and said, "Sir, what do you think? After all, you were the one who called the police!"

To be honest, the fat policeman still believed in Zhou Yang in his heart. Such a handsome and delicate boy, who looked out of place with the other three men, it was hard to imagine that he was the leader of the robbers.

The only non-policeman not wearing handcuffs in the entire car, the icy man raised his eyes slightly, scanned the entire car, and then lowered his eyes again. He performed this subtle movement without moving his lips, clearly not intending to explain Zhou's behavior.

The fat policeman didn't care about the handsome guy's indifference. He turned around and said, "If you have any nonsense to say, save it for the police station. Now shut up!"

“…”So trust will disappear?

Zhou Yang was extremely depressed.

He is the one who is extremely unlucky.

He just returned to China today, and as soon as he got home, his parents urged him to go on a blind date. As a socialist young man with independent ideas who was determined not to be manipulated by his parents, he ran away from home with backbone.

He originally planned to find a hotel to adjust to the jet lag, but sadly discovered that he had no money on him and his credit cards had all been sued by his father. After much deliberation, he took a taxi and went directly to his childhood friend Qi Dongdong.

Neither he nor Qi Dongdong were from City S, but they had grown up together, wearing open-crotch pants. Their parents had come to City S to settle down together in their second year of high school. Zhou Yang was admitted to City B for university, but within two years, he went to study abroad at J University in Country Y. J University was world-renowned for its difficult graduation rate, and Zhou Yang continued his studies for a master's degree. His busy schedule meant he barely returned home for five years, and he didn't spend much time with his classmates. The few he had a good relationship with had become distant over the past five years, much less a confidant who could help him out in urgent need.

Qi Dongdong was unreliable, though. Zhou Yang couldn't get through to him, so he went to his home to arrest him, only to find the door locked. He left the complex in disgrace, only to run into three thieves secretly dividing up the loot.

As a black belt master in Taekwondo, Zhou Yang, a good boy with a good family background, naturally wanted to teach the three men a lesson. After beating them until they were convinced and cried "Big brother, spare my life", he forced them to borrow mobile phone power banks from passers-by, while he went to the toilet to take care of his own urgent needs.

But as soon as he came out of the toilet, he was handcuffed by the police uncle who was waiting at the toilet door... My brother said he was the leader of the three robbers.

Looking at the erratic eyes of the three wretched men, Zhou Yang had nothing to wonder. The other party must have misunderstood "borrow" as "rob" and framed him.

The police car drove smoothly and steadily. Zhou Yang closed his eyes and thought quickly in his mind how to defend himself when he went to the police station for questioning.

"Bang", the car suddenly turned sharply. Zhou Yang had no time to react, lost his balance, and fell on the cold man opposite.

He tried to grab something with both hands to maintain balance, and his arms subconsciously stretched upward and forward. When the car stopped, Zhou Yang was already hanging on the icy man's body. It would be more accurate to say that his hands were strangling the other person's neck rather than encircling it.

The hard handcuffs hit the man's neck, causing him to groan slightly.

The people nearby stared at their strange postures in amazement, not daring to make a sound.

The cold man frowned and used his free hand to pull Zhou Yang's arm away with a look of disgust.

Zhou Yang felt the pain in his arm and blinked his eyes before he came to his senses. He quickly returned to his seat and sat up straight.

The cold man took out some wet tissues from somewhere and wiped every place Zhou Yang had touched, bit by bit. His attitude was even more serious than when Zhou Yang was doing the college entrance examination paper.

Fuck, I didn't do it on purpose, why are you so disgusted? Zhou Yang touched his roughly treated arm and hated himself for not having the habit of carrying tissues with him. He used to feel a bit guilty, but now there was only gnashing of teeth.

The police car was completely silent. Upon seeing this, the fat policeman coughed twice to break the silence and called out to the driver's seat, "Brother Yang, what's wrong?"

The policeman named Brother Yang said in a muffled voice: "There seems to be a car accident up ahead, but it's okay, I'll take a detour."

"Brother Policeman, the accident is so close to us, why don't you go and deal with the traffic accident first?" Zhou Yang's eyes flashed with a desire for knowledge.

"Hmm, hmm, hmm." The three middle-aged men also had a desire for knowledge in their expressions.

"Have you graduated from elementary school? You are not a police officer at all!" The fat policeman looked at him as if he were a fool, and the two policemen in the front seat laughed unscrupulously.

The icy man's eyelashes also moved, but the look in his eyes seemed to be mocking. Zhou Yang couldn't help but grit his teeth: What's so great about it? I graduated from the top 1 university in China, and also from one of the top ten universities in the world abroad.

Zhou Yang regretted asking that stupid question just now. He was just a little confused at that time and didn't react. He was not really that ignorant.

Now, this car full of policemen and the cold-hearted man must think that he is an uneducated gangster.

However, if you create an impression of being uneducated in front of the police, then the other party will think that you have a low IQ. If what you say does not have any loopholes, the other party will definitely believe it more.

Thinking of this, Zhou Yang felt that he was simply a genius, and a hint of pride appeared on his face.

Lin Qiyuan rubbed his sore neck and looked at the gangster opposite him with a dark look.

His face, including every part of his body that was exposed, was blindingly white, and he looked... well, quite handsome. His trench coat was from a niche, affordable luxury brand abroad, and his idiotic cousin just happened to like it. But it made him look like a spinning top, while the punk across from him looked better in it than most male models.

He just went out to a nearby convenience store to buy some things when he was stopped by three robbers. After giving them a small lesson, he immediately called the police. It was unexpected that they confessed that they had accomplices.

Lin Qiyuan knew Zhou Yang was most likely not the robber the moment he saw him. However, the other three were trying to frame him, and he had no obligation to clear their name.

Besides, he has never had any sympathy for people with an IQ below 100.

It's only a ten-minute drive from Bayview Court to the police station, but because of the detour, it took half an hour.

After getting off the car, several people were taken to different inquiry rooms.

The fat policeman was obviously the highest-ranking among the few people. He was worried about Zhou Yang and interrogated him personally.

"Name?"

"Zhou Yang."

"age?"

"Twenty-five."

"Home address?"

"Building 15, Taihe Community."

"Where?" The fat policeman rubbed his ears. "Don't lie, tell the truth!"

"Building 15, Taihe Community."

Anyone who has lived in City S knows that there are two major wealthy areas in City S, one is Taihe Community located on the outskirts of the city, and the other is Bay Court located in the city center.

"you……"

Seeing the other party's obvious disbelief, Zhou Yang pouted and said, "My ID card is in my left trouser pocket. If you take it out, you will know whether what I said is true or not."

The fat policeman stared at the ID card in a daze for a long time, wishing he could pick out the address word by word: "So rich people have this hobby?"

"What kind of hobby is this? I was framed by those three scoundrels! I was just passing by and went to the toilet to let them look at the box for a while. I didn't expect to be caught by you as soon as I left the house!" Zhou Yang was furious.

The fat policeman completely believed it, but he still had to ask, "Then what happened to the injuries on the three of them? They said it was because of a lopsided division of the spoils, and you beat them up!"

"They tried to rob me, and I just resisted legally. They said they would turn themselves in, so I let them go and didn't call the police."

Just then, the police officer next door, who was interrogating three robbers, knocked on the door. The fat officer went out for a few minutes and came back with the key. After unlocking the handcuffs on Zhou Yang's wrists, he instructed, "All three of them were killed. They said it had nothing to do with you. Next time you encounter something like this, call the police immediately, okay? Also, if you have time, read more books so you don't get framed by three robbers!"

It seemed like the image of him as uneducated and unskilled had become ingrained in the policeman's mind. Zhou Yang felt that not having his education printed on his ID card was a major mistake, and he really wanted to throw all his academic certificates and awards in front of him.

Zhou Yang walked out of the interrogation room and happened to meet the cold man coming out after taking his statement. The other party did not express any doubts, but the fat policeman was the first to explain: "It's a misunderstanding, it's all a misunderstanding. He was framed by those three thugs."

"Xiao Liu, Xiao Liu!" the fat policeman shouted twice.

In less than three seconds, a young man came running in from the door with a childish face: "Brother Xiaolin, what's the matter?"

"Xiao Liu, can you help me send these two people back to Bayview Mansion?"

"Okay, Brother Xiaolin, leave it to me!" After saying that, he went to get the car like a gust of wind.

The fat policeman smiled and shook his head, then turned to the two men and said, "Sorry for taking you so long. I'll have intern Xiao Liu take you back."

Lin Qiyuan nodded slightly. Zhou Yang had nowhere else to go, and thinking that Qi Dongdong, that scumbag, would have to go home at night, he nodded as well.

Xiao Liu drove the car to the door. Lin Qiyuan got on the passenger seat first. Zhou Yang pouted and could only sit in the back seat.

As soon as he got in the car, Zhou Yang found that his cell phone was vibrating. He picked it up and saw that the caller ID was Qi Dongdong. He estimated that there was only 2% battery left, which would last for a few minutes, so he gritted his teeth and answered the call.

"Yangyang, are you in trouble again?" The voice on the other end was very excited, even more excited than him, who was extremely unlucky.
