Chapter 9 The Mother and Daughter
Although the lunch box was cold, she ate it all up in order to get news about her mother. After eating, she held her stomach which was a little bloated and painful because of eating too fast, and looked at Mu Tianyang: "Now... can you tell me?"
Mu Tianyang looked at her for a while, then turned and walked out: "Let's go!"
Wan Qing immediately followed him and was taken to the hospital. As soon as she arrived at the hospital, she ran to Xu Kewei's ward, but there was no sign of Xu Kewei in the ward.
She was stunned for a moment, then turned around and asked, "Where's my mother?"
"In the sterile ward." Mu Tianyang said, "I just had an operation this morning. It was very successful."
“Where is the sterile ward?”
Mu Tianyang turned around and she followed him. When they walked to the outside of the sterile ward, they saw Xu Kewei wearing an oxygen mask, lying safely on the bed.
Wanqing reached out to touch her, but could only touch a piece of cold glass.
"Mom..." She couldn't help crying and couldn't control herself.
"Why are you crying?" Mu Tianyang said, "I'll leave when I've seen enough."
Wan Qing turned around and looked at him: "I want to stay here with her."
He looked at her sharply: "Don't forget, you are mine now!"
"Didn't we already last night——"
He sneered, "Do you think one night is enough? You're not that worthwhile!"
Wanqing felt humiliated and lowered her head sadly. After a moment, she said, "But my mother needs someone to take care of her..."
"I've hired the best nurse for her!"
"But……"
"No buts!" Mu Tianyang said, "If there are any buts, I will have them stop her oxygen supply and throw her into the garbage dump. I don't think she can survive for a few days!"
Wanqing looked at him hatefully.
He sneered: "Hate her! But don't forget, I saved her."
Wanqing lowered her head in forbearance, and followed his footsteps, looking back every few steps.
After leaving the hospital, Mu Tianyang drove to a western restaurant.
"You get off the car first and wait for me at the door. I'll go park the car." Mu Tianyang said.
Wan Qing was stunned and nodded: "Oh..."

"...Yes." How did he know she wanted to escape.
He snorted and shook her off: "Get off!"
Wanqing slowly got out of the car and stood under the outer wall of the western restaurant, watching him drive away. She looked at the open road, still wanting to run away. Thinking that Xu Kewei was still lying in the ward, and she actually came to eat western food... How sinful!
At this moment, she saw a familiar car driving over and couldn't help but walk over.
The car stopped in front of her, two women got out, and then the car drove away, probably to find a place to park.
"Your dad has finally gotten over this financial crisis. Let's go buy those Cartier earrings later!" Xue Lina said as she turned around and bumped into Wanqing. She couldn't help but yell, "What are you doing? You have no eyes - Ding Wanqing?!"
"What are you doing here?" another woman next to her - Ding Caiyan - said with disgust.
Wanqing looked at them. They were her father's legal wife and daughter now, enjoying everything that should have belonged to her and her mother!
"Is your mother dead?" Xue Lina asked proudly and viciously, "What are you doing here?" As she spoke, she was suddenly stunned, her eyes swept across her neck, and she reached out to lift her chin.
Wan Qing pushed her away with a palm, her eyes full of anger.
She laughed out loud: "Look what I saw? A hickey! Aren't you still in high school? How can you be in a relationship so early, and it's so passionate?!"
