Chapter 1: Crisis Arrives
Ayu and Lin Yu were in the dimly lit room, the air around them seemingly frozen. Only the encrypted files and data flashing on the computer screen emitted a cold, eerie light. They were extremely anxious. These files and data contained too many secrets, concerning whether they could completely expose the conspiracy of that mysterious organization, but now they were firmly trapped by this unbreakable encryption lock.
Lin Yu frowned, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, but he quickly came up with a solution and promptly took out his phone to contact a friend who was proficient in computer technology. Upon hearing the situation, his friend immediately began remote assistance, attempting to crack the complex encryption program.
Ayu wasn't idle either. She knew the mysterious organization wouldn't let this place go easily, and would definitely send reinforcements if they sensed anything amiss. Her gaze was resolute as she surveyed the room and began setting up defenses. She piled movable items like tables and chairs near the doorway and used simple tools to set up small mechanisms by the windows. These mechanisms would make a sound immediately if anyone tried to break in, giving them time to react.
Lin Yu anxiously watched the slow-moving progress bar on the computer screen, glancing at A Yu every now and then, his eyes filled with worry. A Yu, on the other hand, appeared calm, but her slightly trembling fingers betrayed her inner turmoil. After all, they were facing a ruthless and powerful mysterious organization.
Chapter Two: Enemy Attack
Time passed by, each second feeling incredibly long. Suddenly, a series of noisy footsteps approached. Ayu and Lin Yu exchanged a glance, realizing that the mysterious organization had indeed noticed the anomaly at headquarters, and a large number of guards were rushing towards the room where core documents and data were stored.
Ayu gripped her short stick tightly; it was the only weapon she had found in the room. Lin Yu also grabbed a chair, ready for action. Suddenly, the door was flung open, and several guards rushed in. Ayu shouted and swung her stick at the leading guard. The guard, unprepared for the ferocity of a woman like Ayu, couldn't dodge in time and was struck in the shoulder, crying out in pain.
Lin Yu was not to be outdone, and he picked up a chair and smashed it at another guard. In an instant, shouts and sounds of fighting filled the room. Although Ayu was quite agile, she was outnumbered and outmatched by her trained opponents. Soon, her arm was cut open, and blood seeped out. But she gritted her teeth and continued to fight back with all her might.
Lin Yu's situation was also not optimistic. He was cornered by two guards and was about to be overwhelmed. Just then, A Yu seized the opportunity, rushed forward, and tripped the two guards with a short stick. Lin Yu took the opportunity to break free. The two of them stood back to back, panting heavily, and continued to deal with the guards. They had only one thought in their minds, which was to buy as much time as possible. As long as their friend could successfully crack the encryption, there was still hope.
Chapter Three: Affections Grow Amidst the Flames of War
The battle intensified, and both Ayu and Lin Yu sustained numerous injuries. Sweat mixed with blood soaked their clothes. Ayu's strength began to wane, and her movements became sluggish. Lin Yu noticed her distress and asked with concern, "Ayu, how are you?"
Ayu forced a smile and said, "I'm fine. We can't let them succeed." Looking at her stubborn yet resolute expression, Lin Yu felt a surge of warmth in his heart, mixed with heartache. He secretly vowed that no matter what, he would protect Ayu.
Just then, another wave of guards rushed in. Ayu and Lin Yu felt the pressure increase sharply, but they showed no sign of backing down. Lin Yu shielded Ayu behind him and shouted at the guards rushing in, "With me here, you won't hurt her!" Hearing Lin Yu's powerful words, Ayu's eyes reddened slightly. She knew that in this life-or-death moment, Lin Yu truly cared about her and was willing to risk his life for her.
They continued to fight the guards, with Ayu behind Lin Yu doing her best to help, using clever tricks to trip the approaching guards. The two worked together with increasing synergy, as if they were telepathically connected. This bond that blossomed amidst the flames of war further strengthened their resolve to protect the documents and data and defeat the mysterious organization.
Chapter Four: The First Glimmer of Dawn
The situation grew increasingly critical, and the guards seemed to have received a death order, their attacks becoming more and more ferocious. Ayu and Lin Yu were nearing their limits; their injuries made every movement incredibly difficult. Just when they were almost in despair, Lin Yu's computer suddenly emitted a crisp notification sound.
Lin Yu was overjoyed and quickly broke free from the guards entangled around him. He rushed to the computer to check and saw the words "Encryption cracked" displayed on the screen. He excitedly shouted, "Ayu, it's done! It's cracked!" Upon hearing this, Ayu's tired face also showed a look of surprise. But before they could celebrate for long, the guards launched a new round of attacks.
Lin Yu quickly copied the files and data to his portable hard drive, and then he and A Yu continued to fight the guards. They knew they were still in danger, and only by fighting their way out and leaving with these important things could they truly be considered victorious.
Ayu seemed to be filled with strength again. She wielded her short stick with even greater ferocity than before. Seeing their sudden renewed fighting spirit, the guards became somewhat wary and slowed their attacks. Taking advantage of the situation, Lin Yu grabbed Ayu and rushed towards another exit of the room. This exit was an escape route they had prepared beforehand, but they hadn't expected it to come in handy so soon.
