The Secret Tracking of a Beauty
I. The Beginning of the Storm
The chaos at the engagement party was like a nightmare, shattering everyone's lives. After Ah Yu took Lin Wanqing away, the scene erupted in uproar. Gu Yanting stood there, his face contorted with rage, like a volcano about to erupt. His eyes burned with fury, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. "I will take everything back and make them pay the price!" Gu Yanting gritted his teeth, forcing out these words.
At this moment, Zhong Hua had already fled in the chaos, heartbroken. Her figure appeared so frail in the crowd, tears constantly welling in her eyes; with each step, her heart felt as if it were being torn apart. Gu Yanting, on the other hand, had no time to care about Zhong Hua; his mind was filled only with his obsession with winning back Lin Wanqing and taking revenge on Ah Yu.
Back in the luxurious yet cold villa, Gu Yanting kicked over a chair in the living room. "Get out, all of you!" he roared at the group of servants. After they left in a panic, Gu Yanting sat on the sofa, hands behind his head, lost in thought for a long time. Finally, he looked up, a sinister glint in his eyes, and picked up his phone to dial a number.
"Hey, Tiger, do me a favor. Find a few reliable people to secretly follow Ah Yu and Lin Wanqing, and report their whereabouts to me immediately. I need to get something on them so they can never get away with this again!" Gu Yanting ordered into the phone. Tiger quickly replied, "Brother Ting, don't worry, I'll take care of this. I'll arrange for someone to do it right away."
II. Tracking Deployment
After hanging up the phone, Tiger immediately took action. He went to one of his underground bars, his "intelligence center," a gathering place for all sorts of people. Tiger found a few of his quick-witted and skilled henchmen and explained in detail the task Gu Yanting had given him.
"Listen up, you guys. If we do this well, Brother Ting will reward us handsomely. From now on, keep a close eye on Ah Yu and Lin Wanqing. Wherever they go, you go too. You need to know their every move. But remember, don't get caught!" Hu Zi said with a serious expression.
Several henchmen nodded in agreement, one of them, with dyed yellow hair, patted his chest and assured him, "Brother Tiger, you can rest assured. Don't you know how good we are at tracking? We guarantee we'll complete the mission."
Soon, the henchmen began their operation. They split into two groups: one to follow Ah Yu, and the other to follow Lin Wanqing. They disguised themselves, some as ordinary passersby, others riding motorcycles and following them from a distance. As soon as Ah Yu and Lin Wanqing stepped out, they would appear silently.
III. Difficult Evasion
As for Ah Yu and Lin Wanqing, ever since leaving the engagement banquet, they knew that Gu Yanting wouldn't let it go. They dared not stay in one place for long and kept changing their hiding places. From small hotels in the city to guesthouses in the suburbs, each move was made with extreme caution.
“Wanqing, we need to find another place. I have a feeling someone is watching us,” Ah Yu said to Lin Wanqing warily. Lin Wanqing nodded slightly, a hint of worry flashing in her eyes: “Yes, I’ll listen to you, Ah Yu. Gu Yanting definitely won’t let us off easily.”
During one of their escapes, Ah Yu seemed to sense something. He deliberately led Lin Wanqing through a narrow alley, trying to shake off their pursuers. The henchmen who were following them panicked for a moment, weaving through the alleys, desperately searching for Ah Yu and Lin Wanqing.
"Oh no, we think we've lost them!" the blond-haired henchman said anxiously. "Don't panic, they can't have gone far, keep looking!" another henchman said calmly.
However, thanks to their familiarity with their surroundings, Ah Yu and Lin Wanqing successfully evaded their pursuers. But they knew this was only temporary; Gu Yanting would not give up easily, and more dangers awaited them in the future.
IV. Gu Yanting's Plans
Gu Yanting sat in his office, anxiously awaiting news from his underling. Finally, his phone rang. "Brother Ting, something's wrong. They seem to have noticed we're being followed. They just lost us in the alley," the blond-haired underling said cautiously on the other end of the line.
"Useless! A bunch of useless people! You can't even handle this simple task!" Gu Yanting roared angrily, slamming his phone onto the table. He stood up and paced back and forth in his office, pondering his next move.
"Hmph, Ah Yu, do you think you can get rid of me like this? Not so easy," Gu Yanting muttered to himself. He decided to intensify his surveillance and begin planning a more elaborate revenge scheme.
Gu Yanting contacted some of his connections in the business world, planning to use his resources to economically suppress A Yu. He wanted to drive A Yu to the brink of ruin in his career before slowly dealing with him. At the same time, he was also waiting for useful information from his underlings; as long as he could find something to hold against A Yu and Lin Wanqing, he would have a way to destroy their reputations.
V. The First Signs of Subsequent Crises
Although Ah Yu and Lin Wanqing had temporarily escaped their pursuers, their lives were far from easier. Every time they went out, they had to be extra careful, their nerves constantly on edge. Lin Wanqing's face gradually lost its former smile, replaced by worry.
"Ah Yu, when will this end? I'm really scared," Lin Wanqing said softly, leaning on Ah Yu's shoulder. Ah Yu gently patted Lin Wanqing's hand, comforting her, "Wanqing, don't be afraid. As long as we handle things carefully, we'll get through this. I won't let Gu Yanting hurt you."
