Ah Yu finally broke through the security personnel's obstruction and reached Zhong Hua's side. He held Zhong Hua's hand tightly, his eyes filled with determination and love.
"Don't be afraid, I'm here," Ah Yu said softly, then led Zhong Hua toward the side door of the banquet hall. His friends fought back against the security personnel, buying them time to escape.
In the chaos, Ah Yu and Zhong Hua successfully escaped the banquet hall and disappeared into the night. Gu Yanting stood there, trembling with rage, vowing to make Ah Yu and Zhong Hua pay a terrible price.

Seeing this, the man in black sped up in pursuit, and the two cars engaged in a thrilling chase through the street.
The streets were bustling with traffic, and the car weaved left and right through the flow of vehicles, creating a very dangerous situation. Ah Yu frowned as she looked in the rearview mirror at the man in black relentlessly pursuing her.
"We need to find a way to shake them off," Ah Yu said to the driver.
The driver nodded, then suddenly made a sharp turn, veering into a narrow alley. The alley was cluttered with debris, and the car struggled to move forward. The larger car driven by the man in black had great difficulty navigating the alley and gradually fell behind.
However, the men in black had no intention of giving up. After getting out of the car, they chased after them on foot through the alleys. Just as Ah Yu and the others emerged from the alley, the men in black caught up again.
"No, we still won't be able to shake them off if this continues," Ah Yu anxiously pondered a solution.
Just then, a large shopping mall appeared ahead. Ah Yu, quick-witted, said to the driver, "Drive into the mall's underground parking lot!"
The car sped into the underground parking lot, weaving through the intricate lanes. Ah Yu and Zhong Hua got out and blended into the crowd in the mall. The men in black chased them to the parking lot, searching everywhere, but to no avail.
Ah Yu and Zhong Hua walked cautiously through the mall, not daring to relax for a moment, fearing that the men in black would catch up again. They reached a corner of the mall and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ah Yu, I really owe you so much this time. I don't know what I would have done without you." Zhong Hua looked at Ah Yu gratefully, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Don't say that. How could I just stand by and watch you marry that bastard?" Ah Yu looked at Zhong Hua with heartache and gently wiped away her tears.
They gazed into each other's eyes, their gazes filled with deep affection. However, they knew this was not the time to relax; Gu Yanting would certainly not let it go so easily, and they had to find a safe place to hide as soon as possible…
Ah Yu led Zhong Hua around the mall for a while, and after confirming that they were not being followed, they left through another exit. They hailed a taxi and headed to a secluded cabin that Ah Yu had prepared in advance as a temporary refuge.
Along the way, Zhong Hua leaned on A Yu's shoulder, utterly exhausted. The chaos of the engagement party and the tense chase had pushed her body and mind to their limits. A Yu gently embraced Zhong Hua, her heart filled with heartache.
Finally, the taxi stopped in front of the cottage. It was a secluded cottage located in the suburbs, surrounded by dense woods. Ah Yu paid the fare and helped Zhong Hua into the cottage.
Although the small house was simply furnished, it was clean and tidy. Ah Yu let Zhong Hua sit on the bed to rest, while she went to check if the doors and windows were closed properly to ensure safety.
“It should be safe here for now,” Ah Yu said to Zhong Hua as she returned to her room.
Zhong Hua nodded, looking at Ah Yu, her heart filled with mixed emotions. She was grateful to Ah Yu for risking her life to save her, but also worried that she might have gotten Ah Yu into even bigger trouble. Moreover, she felt lost about what the future held for her and Ah Yu.
"Ah Yu, what do you think we should do next? Gu Yanting definitely won't let us off the hook," Zhong Hua said worriedly.
Ah Yu sat down next to Zhong Hua, took her hand, and said firmly, "Don't be afraid. No matter what difficulties we encounter, I will always be with you. Let's hide here for a while and then figure out a way to deal with Gu Yanting."
Looking into Ah Yu's determined eyes, Zhong Hua felt a surge of warmth in her heart. She leaned against Ah Yu's chest, feeling his warmth and strength.
However, at this moment, Gu Yanting was sitting in his study at home, his face terribly gloomy. On the table in front of him were photos of Ah Yu and Zhong Hua. He angrily threw the photos on the ground and stomped on them several times.
