"Was I wrong from the very beginning?" Zhong Hua was filled with doubt and pain. She didn't know what to do, whether to continue clinging to this already broken relationship, or to choose to let go and start anew.
On the quiet lakeside, Zhong Hua sat alone for a long, long time, until the night was deep and the chill deepened. Only then did she slowly rise, dragging her heavy steps, and head towards home. "Ah Yu, do you think we can really get rid of Gu Yanting?" Lin Wanqing broke the silence and asked softly.
Ah Yu raised his head, looked at Lin Wanqing, and said firmly, "It's definitely possible. I won't let him hurt you again, nor will I let him ruin our lives." After saying that, he got up and walked to the window, looking at the dark night outside, and secretly vowed in his heart that he would fight Gu Yanting to the end and protect everything he cherished.
