The League's Dilemma
Chapter 1: The Difficult Communication
For the past few days, Ayu and Lin Yu have been searching for business people who were persecuted by the mysterious organization years ago. They know that in order to fight against that mysterious organization that lurks in the shadows like a ghost, they must gather enough strength, and these former victims are their important allies.
Ayu's slender fingers tapped rapidly on the keyboard as she searched for people's contact information through various channels. Lin Yu, meanwhile, carefully examined the old documents in his hands, his brows sometimes furrowing and sometimes relaxing.
"Ayu, I've found Mr. Liu's approximate address, but I'm not sure if he's still there," Lin Yu said, pointing to a line of text on the document.
Ayu raised her head, her gaze resolute: "Then let's try our luck. It's better than sitting here and waiting."
They went to the address, which led to a somewhat secluded villa area. The surrounding trees were lush and green, exuding a sense of tranquility yet also making them feel inexplicably uneasy. When they knocked on Mr. Liu's door, he looked wary. Upon hearing their purpose, he was initially full of suspicion, as his past experience of being persecuted by a mysterious organization had made him extremely wary of strangers.
Ayu patiently explained their plan, and Lin Yu took the opportunity to produce some evidence of the mysterious organization's crimes that he had already obtained, gradually allaying Mr. Liu's concerns. Finally, Mr. Liu sighed and said, "Fine, I've been looking for a chance to take revenge all these years anyway, I'll join you."
And so, one businessperson after another was moved by them and willing to join the alliance against the mysterious organization. They gathered together to discuss countermeasures and finally unanimously decided to start by collecting more evidence of the organization's crimes. Only with solid evidence could they bring it to justice and prevent it from causing trouble in the shadows again.
Chapter Two: The Mysterious Organization's Counterattack
However, the mysterious organization was no pushover; with its extensive network of informants, they quickly learned of the alliance's formation. Their actions were swift, and they began threatening and intimidating its members.
That day, Mr. Zhang, one of the alliance members, received an anonymous threatening letter. The letter was full of malice, saying that if he continued to participate in the alliance, his family and his company would face utter destruction. Mr. Zhang's hand holding the letter trembled uncontrollably, and his face turned deathly pale.
He sat in his office, lost in thought, his once firm beliefs beginning to waver. He thought about how he had worked so hard for so many years to build his current career and stable family; what if it were all ruined because of this?
Meanwhile, Ayu and Lin Yu also learned that some members had received threatening letters. They quickly gathered everyone together again to try to stabilize morale.
"Everyone, we all know that this journey has not been easy. The mysterious organization is trying to scare us away, but if we back down, won't all our previous efforts be wasted? They will continue to roam free and persecute even more people," Ayu said passionately.
Lin Yu chimed in, "That's right. As long as we unite and gather all the evidence, we can completely bring them down, and then we and our families will be truly safe."
However, everyone's expressions remained somewhat solemn. After all, they had witnessed the methods of that mysterious organization, and no one could guarantee what even more terrifying things might happen next.
Chapter 3: The Crisis of the Alliance
After hesitating for a few days, Mr. Zhang finally expressed his desire to withdraw from the alliance to Ayu and Lin Yu. He said with a guilty look on his face, "I'm really scared. I can't risk my family's safety. Please don't blame me."
Looking at President Zhang, Ayu felt a pang of disappointment. She knew this was undoubtedly a huge crisis for the newly formed alliance. If President Zhang withdrew, the other members' resolve might waver even further, and the alliance could very well fall apart.
Lin Yu patted President Zhang on the shoulder: "President Zhang, I understand your concerns, but think about it, if we back down now, do you think the mysterious organization will let us go? They will only become more aggressive. The only real way out is for us to defeat them together."
Ayu quickly added, "Yes, Mr. Zhang, we can work together to protect our families. We already have some leads, and with a little more effort, we'll be able to gather enough evidence soon. We can't give up now."
As Mr. Zhang listened to their words, he fell into a deeper dilemma. He also wanted to bring that mysterious organization to justice, but the unknown fear was making it hard for him to breathe.
Meanwhile, the mysterious organization was secretly plotting even more heinous measures. They planned to launch commercial attacks on the companies of the alliance members, leaving them preoccupied with their own problems and thus completely dismantling the alliance.
Chapter Four: Persuasion and Perseverance
Ayu and Lin Yu decided they couldn't just sit idly by, so they went to Mr. Zhang's company to try and persuade him again.
Ayu took out a detailed protection plan and handed it to President Zhang: "President Zhang, look, this is what we've been working on these past two days. We'll arrange for someone to protect your family, and we'll also strengthen security measures at the company. At the same time, we'll speed up the collection of evidence. As long as we deal with the mysterious organization as soon as possible, all dangers will disappear."
Lin Yu also said sincerely, "President Zhang, we have come together because of trust. Your withdrawal now is not only a regret for you, but also a huge blow to the entire alliance. We believe that as long as we are united, the mysterious organization will not succeed so easily."
Looking at the plan and then at the sincere eyes of Ayu and Lin Yu, the scales in Mr. Zhang's heart began to tip slowly. He recalled the resentment he felt when he was persecuted by the mysterious organization, and the determination he had when he agreed to join the alliance. He couldn't help but clench his fists.
