Episode 242: The Echoes of Resonant Ripples in the Strata



Zhong Hua didn't know the answer.

All he knew was that when the buzzing sound penetrated the platform floor tiles, when the concrete interlayer was opened, and when those scenes that spanned nearly half a century and thousands of miles overlapped on the drawings, he felt an unprecedented shock and connection.

It's not just a geographical overlap or a temporal overlap, but also a resonance of memories and an echo of emotions.

He took out his phone; the signal had been restored. He dialed Ayu's number.

"Hey, Ayu?"

"Zhong Hua? Where are you? I think I felt a strange vibration just now, and... I think I saw a very strange light..." A Yu's voice was filled with a hint of doubt and excitement.

Zhong Hua smiled, looked up at the sky, and saw that the sun was shining brightly.

“I’m on the old platform,” he said. “I saw something, something… hard to explain. Could you come over here for a bit? I’d like to take a look with you.”

"Okay, I'll be right there."

After hanging up the phone, Zhong Hua looked at the mysterious blueprint again.

On the drawing, next to the shoreline marking of Namtso Lake, there appears to be a very thin, new ink mark, like the starting point of an unfinished loop.

He didn't know what this meant, nor what kind of adventures and mysteries awaited him and Ayu in the future.

But he knew that those fragments scattered throughout time and place, those seemingly accidental coincidences, were slowly piecing together a grand and tender picture in a mysterious way.

Their story, like an unfinished loop on a blueprint, has only just begun.

The echoes from beneath the earth gradually faded, but the ripples of memory had only just begun to spread outwards in circles across the lake of time and space.
