Chapter 1: The Joy of Success
Standing in the company's spacious and bright conference room, Ah Yu watched the sales data constantly changing on the big screen, his face filled with barely suppressed joy. Under his meticulous leadership, the multinational corporation's new product promotion project had achieved remarkable results. The product, like a shining new star, quickly opened up sales channels in the domestic market, and the effects of the advertising far exceeded everyone's initial expectations.
The company erupted in jubilation. Colleagues cast admiring glances at Ah Yu, and the boss beamed from ear to ear, immediately announcing a generous bonus for him. Furthermore, recognizing his exceptional abilities and the creative talent he displayed on this project, he was promoted to head of the creative department. Amidst the congratulations, Ah Yu's thoughts were preoccupied with two people: Zhong Hua, whose crucial help might have prevented the project from going so smoothly; and Su Yao, whose unwavering support and encouragement had always been a tremendous source of motivation.
Zhong Hua was in her office at the moment, the phone ringing incessantly, all from various magazines. Ever since news of her helping Ah Yu spread in the industry, her reputation had soared. Many magazines recognized her abilities and extended offers to her, inviting her to do more important feature planning. Those high-end projects that she used to think were out of reach were now in front of her, waiting for her to choose.
Su Yao already had a certain influence in the business world, and the success of the Ah Yu project allowed more people to see her vision and recognize her abilities. When she attended various business gatherings, she was surrounded by more and more people, all wanting to hear her insights on market trends and learn some unique business experience from her.
Chapter Two: Gathering and Celebration
Ah Yu took the lead and sent messages to Zhong Hua and Su Yao, inviting them to celebrate this hard-won achievement. The location was chosen to be an elegant Western restaurant. When Ah Yu arrived first and sat by the window, his thoughts drifted back to the days when he worked hard on the project. The scenes of working overtime until late at night, the frowns when encountering difficulties, and the enthusiastic atmosphere when discussing solutions with Zhong Hua and Su Yao all played in his mind like a movie.
Not long after, Zhong Hua arrived. She had dressed up carefully today, and a red dress made her look exceptionally radiant. Ah Yu stood up to greet her, smiling and saying, "Zhong Hua, we really owe you a lot this time. Without you, this project would have faced countless difficulties." Zhong Hua waved her hand, a gentle smile on her face, "Oh, not at all. It's all thanks to your own abilities. I only helped a little."
As the two were talking, Su Yao arrived, dressed in a smart business suit that exuded elegance. Seeing them, Su Yao teased, "Hey, what are you chatting about? You seem so happy, didn't you wait for me?" Ah Yu quickly pulled Su Yao to sit down, saying, "We were just talking about thanking Zhong Hua. We really need to celebrate today; this achievement wasn't easy!"
The dining table was laden with exquisite food and a bottle of fine red wine. Ah Yu stood up, raised her glass, and said sincerely, "Come, let me toast you both first. The success of this project is largely due to your contributions. I hope that no matter what we do in the future, we can still work side by side like this." Zhong Hua and Su Yao also raised their glasses, clinked them together lightly, and drank the fragrant red wine.
As the wine intensified, the atmosphere among the three became increasingly relaxed and joyful. They began to reminisce about the moments they had shared since they first met, the laughter they had experienced together and the occasional minor disagreements, all of which had now become precious memories. Their feelings for each other continued to grow stronger in this joyful atmosphere, like a slowly rising temperature.
Chapter Three: Voices from the Outside World
However, their joyous celebration was observed by some observant individuals. In this era of rapid information dissemination, various opinions and discussions about them quickly arose. Some said that Ah Yu's success in making the project possible was due to Su Yao's connections in the business world, and that there might be some shady dealings involved; others speculated that Zhong Hua and Ah Yu had an unusual relationship, otherwise why would he be so dedicated to helping, perhaps there were some other feelings involved.
These rumors began to spread quietly within the industry. At first, Ah Yu and the others were unaware of this, still immersed in the joy of their success and the deepening bond between them. But gradually, when they attended some events or communicated with industry professionals, they could always sense some strange looks and hesitant expressions.
Ah Yu was the first to sense something was wrong. Once, during a company meeting, he noticed several colleagues whispering amongst themselves. When they saw him looking over, they quickly pretended to be nonchalant. After the meeting, Ah Yu pulled aside a colleague he was on good terms with and asked, "What were you talking about just now? It seemed so secretive." The colleague hesitated for a moment before saying, "Brother Ah Yu, don't you know? There are some unsavory rumors circulating outside, saying that your project's success was rigged, and that it involves Sister Zhong Hua and Sister Su Yao. But I believe you; it's all just made up."
Upon hearing this, Ah Yu felt a surge of anger. He never imagined that the fruits of everyone's hard work would be so maliciously speculated about. He decided to have a serious talk with Zhong Hua and Su Yao, and not let these rumors affect their relationship.
