However, this collaboration was not easy. The multinational corporation had its own strict standards and processes, and its project philosophy and working methods differed greatly from those of Ah Yu's company. When Ah Yu and her team first started pushing forward with the project, they encountered numerous difficulties. The two sides constantly disagreed on project planning and resource allocation, and the project's progress came to a standstill at one point.
Ah Yu was so worried about this that he couldn't sleep for several nights. Zhong Hua saw this and felt heartbroken. Every day after work, she would accompany Ah Yu in the study, looking up a lot of information together. Although she didn't know much about Ah Yu's professional field, she could always provide him with some ideas from different perspectives and encourage him not to be discouraged.
Zhong Hua herself received an invitation from a renowned art institution to participate in a large-scale art project aimed at creating a series of public artworks to be placed in various iconic locations throughout the city. This presented a significant challenge for Zhong Hua, requiring her to find a balance between satisfying artistic aesthetics and reflecting the city's cultural characteristics.
Su Yao, leveraging her experience in previous international collaborations, was recruited by a highly influential company in the industry to serve as a consultant in its market development department, helping the company expand into overseas markets. However, the complexity of overseas markets and the cultural differences between different countries and regions placed immense pressure on Su Yao. She needed to gain a deeper understanding of the situation in each target market and develop appropriate expansion strategies.
Chapter 5: Supporting Each Other Through Difficult Times
Faced with these new challenges, the three of them continued to support each other and work together, just as they always had. When Ah Yu encountered a communication impasse with a multinational corporation, he remembered Su Yao's experience in international cooperation and sought her help. Without hesitation, Su Yao used her spare time to help Ah Yu analyze the other party's corporate culture and cooperation needs, and also gave him advice on how to communicate and negotiate in a more appropriate way.
When Zhong Hua encountered a creative block while searching for inspiration for her art project, A Yu took her to various corners of the city on weekends to gather inspiration and visit museums and art galleries, allowing her to draw inspiration from different art forms. At the same time, Su Yao also used her network of contacts to help Zhong Hua connect with several senior art critics to offer their opinions on her work.
While Su Yao was busy working on her overseas market expansion plan, A Yu and Zhong Hua were also busy. A Yu helped her organize and analyze market data, providing valuable insights with her data analysis skills, while Zhong Hua used his creativity to help Su Yao design more attractive promotional plans, enabling the company's brand to better establish itself in overseas markets.
Through their joint efforts, Ah Yu gradually found a balance in cooperating with multinational corporations, and the project began to progress smoothly again; Zhong Hua's artistic creation also made breakthrough progress, and the design schemes were highly recognized by art institutions; Su Yao's overseas market expansion plan was also gradually improved, and the company began to explore new markets step by step according to the plan.
Chapter Six: Balancing Family and Career
As their careers became increasingly demanding, they faced a new challenge—how to balance family and work. Ah Yu often had to work late into the night due to projects, and sometimes even had to attend meetings or travel for work on weekends, leaving her with less and less time to spend with Zhong Hua. Although Zhong Hua understood the importance of Ah Yu's work, he inevitably felt lonely sometimes when he was home alone.
Once, Zhong Hua fell ill with a fever, but A Yu was away on a business trip and couldn't come back to take care of her. Zhong Hua felt a little wronged, and when A Yu returned, she couldn't help but confide in him about her feelings. A Yu listened and felt guilty. He realized that he couldn't just focus on work and neglect the person he loved most.
So, Ah Yu began to adjust his work rhythm, rationally allocate his time, and never procrastinate on tasks that could be completed within working hours, while also minimizing unnecessary social engagements. He would also video call Zhong Hua every day when he was on business trips to check on her well-being.
Su Yao faced a similar situation. After becoming a consultant, she frequently needed to travel to different countries to investigate markets, which reduced the time she could spend with her husband. Worried that this might affect their relationship, she had a serious discussion with her husband and they developed a family plan, marking important anniversaries and family gatherings in advance to ensure that she could be home with him on these occasions.
Meanwhile, the three of them would often get together to exchange experiences on balancing family and career, encouraging and learning from each other. Gradually, they all found a relatively suitable balance between their busy careers and warm families, and their lives became more organized and happy.
Chapter Seven: Little Interludes in Life
Although everything was moving in a positive direction, life inevitably has its little hiccups. Once, Ah Yu and Zhong Hua planned to go to a long-awaited art exhibition together on the weekend, but just before they were about to leave, Ah Yu suddenly received an urgent call from his company, requiring him to return immediately to deal with an unexpected problem on a project.
Zhong Hua's hopes were dashed. She said angrily, "Why are you always like this? Work, work, you never consider my feelings! Our precious weekend is ruined again." A Yu was also helpless and hurriedly explained, "It was an unexpected situation. I didn't want this either. This project is too important; I have to deal with it." The two started arguing back and forth, and in the end, A Yu rushed off to the company, leaving Zhong Hua alone at home, sulking.
When Ah Yu returned home after finishing his work, he saw Zhong Hua sitting on the sofa with red eyes, and he felt a pang of guilt. He went over and gently hugged Zhong Hua, saying, "I'm sorry, darling, it's my fault. I shouldn't have been so focused on work and neglected your feelings. I'll definitely be more careful in the future." Hearing this, Zhong Hua's anger subsided considerably. She realized that she had acted too impulsively and should have been more understanding of Ah Yu's difficulties. She said, "I was wrong too. I know your work is important, and I shouldn't have been so willful."
