Episode 56: A Joint Charitable Action

The Light of Kindness Illuminates the Path of Hope

Chapter 1: Having Good Intentions and Taking Action

Ah Yu, Zhong Hua, and Su Yao have all achieved remarkable success in their respective fields. Standing at the peak of their lives and looking back on the hardships they have gone through, they have a common idea in their hearts—to use their own strength to give back to society and bring warmth and hope to those in distress.

By chance, they learned about children in some remote and impoverished areas who, in rudimentary schools, yearned for knowledge but lacked even the most basic educational resources. Classrooms had very few books, outdated school supplies were barely usable, and teaching equipment was pitifully scarce; many classes couldn't be conducted properly due to the lack of necessary equipment. This situation deeply pained them, so the three of them immediately decided to launch a charity project to donate books, school supplies, and teaching equipment to schools in these impoverished areas, doing their utmost to improve the children's learning conditions.

Without hesitation, they first leveraged their personal networks and resources to contact numerous publishers, stationery manufacturers, and educational equipment suppliers, explaining the initial intention and goals of the charity project and hoping to procure the necessary supplies at preferential prices. Many businesses were moved by their charitable act and expressed their willingness to provide maximum support, with some even directly donating a portion of the supplies.

While preparing supplies, Ah Yu, Zhong Hua, and Su Yao also decided to personally travel to those impoverished areas to conduct on-site investigations of the schools' specific situations, so as to better understand their actual needs and communicate with local education departments about cooperation details. They embarked on this meaningful yet arduous journey, and along the way, looking at the increasingly barren land and dilapidated villages outside the car window, their sense of responsibility grew stronger.

Chapter Two: Delving into Impoverished Areas, Touching Hearts

After a long journey, they finally arrived at the first school in a poor area. It was a small schoolyard, with a few simple tile-roofed houses serving as classrooms for the children. The playground was just a dusty open space without any sports facilities. Inside the classrooms, the old desks and chairs were not neatly arranged, and the blackboard was uneven and pitted from years of use.

The principal warmly received them, his eyes filled with gratitude and anticipation. He led them through the classrooms, explaining the school's situation: "The children here are eager to study, but the conditions are really limited. We only have a few books, and they've read them over and over again. Teaching equipment is also severely lacking. Many courses can only be taught by the teacher lecturing on the blackboard, which makes it difficult for the children to understand."

Ah Yu looked at the worn-out books and felt a pang of sadness. He secretly vowed to bring more good books to the children. Zhong Hua, meanwhile, noticed the children's stationery; the pencils were so short they were almost impossible to hold, and the notebooks had hardly any pages left, which brought tears to her eyes. Su Yao carefully inquired about the needs for teaching equipment, thinking about how to quickly equip the teachers with projectors, computers, and other tools to aid teaching.

Afterward, they visited several more schools, and the situation was largely the same. At each school, the children's innocent and curious eyes, and their undisguised thirst for knowledge, struck their hearts like heavy hammers. Those eyes held a yearning for the outside world and a hope for changing their destiny, and the three of them knew that what they were doing might be the key to unlocking a bright future for these children.

Chapter Three: The Donation Ceremony, The Passing on of Hope

After a period of preparation, the donation ceremonies were finally held in schools in these impoverished areas.

That day, colorful flags fluttered in the schoolyard. The children, dressed in their cleanest clothes, arrived early at the playground, lining up neatly with eyes full of excitement and anticipation. Trucks loaded with supplies slowly drove into the schoolyard, carrying brand-new books, a dazzling array of school supplies, and various advanced teaching equipment.

When Ah Yu, Zhong Hua, and Su Yao personally handed bags of books, boxes of stationery, and pieces of teaching equipment to the children and teachers, the children's faces lit up with incredibly bright smiles. Those smiles seemed to dispel all gloom, so pure and moving. The teachers were also moved to tears, repeatedly expressing their gratitude.

A teacher held Ah Yu's hand tightly and said, "You've really brought us a timely rain! Now the children can learn more. Thank you so much!"

Zhong Hua was surrounded by a group of children who looked at her curiously, chattering about what the outside world was like. Zhong Hua answered patiently, her eyes full of tenderness. Su Yao was helping the teachers set up the teaching equipment, and looking at the clear image projected on the projector, she smiled with satisfaction.

At the donation ceremony, Ah Yu spoke on behalf of the three. Looking at the energetic faces below the stage, his voice choked with emotion: "Children, knowledge can change your destiny. We hope that these books, school supplies and teaching equipment can help you study better and pursue your dreams. We will always pay attention to you and grow with you."

At that moment, enthusiastic applause rang out on the playground. This applause was not only a thank you for the donated supplies, but also conveyed a sense of hope and an aspiration for a better future.

Chapter Four: Establishing a Charitable Foundation to Continue the Love

After the donation ceremony, Ah Yu, Zhong Hua, and Su Yao knew that this was just the beginning. To help children in these impoverished areas in the long term, they needed more stable financial support and a sound operational mechanism. Therefore, they decided to establish a charitable foundation specifically for improving the educational environment in impoverished areas.
