Chapter 431: Escape from the Hospital

Half an hour later, Huo Juncheng and Lin Yilan appeared on the set. All the crew members had already arrived, and Director Wang had been waiting for Huo Juncheng to arrive.

When Huo Juncheng saw Lin Yilan coming, he put away his phone, stood up, and took Lin Yilan's hand, "Let's go, I'll take you back first."
In the car, Huo Juncheng said to Lin Yilan in a gentle voice, "I've been a little busy lately. I took you away because I was afraid you would cause trouble again on the crew. If you didn't tell me, I wouldn't be able to take care of you."
Lin Yilan was a little unconvinced, but this time it was indeed Huo Juncheng who helped her to deal with it. Lin Yilan could not speak firmly and could only whisper, "I didn't ask you to take care of me."
"Then please don't cause me any trouble recently." Huo Juncheng smiled helplessly and dotingly.
The atmosphere between the two had just become a little more harmonious, but as soon as he returned home, Huo Juncheng received another piece of news that made his brain explode.
It was the hospital calling.
"Is that Mr. Huo?"
The call from the hospital was naturally about Jenny. Huo Juncheng thought Jenny had caused some trouble again. "What does she want?"
"Mr. Huo, Jenny ran away from the hospital. We saw on the surveillance camera that she deliberately avoided the nurses and doctors and ran out of the hospital on her own. I hope you can go and look for her. Her mental state is not very good and something might have happened to her."
"Jenny ran away from the hospital?" Huo Juncheng frowned.

The two drove to the vicinity of the hospital and after searching for a while, they saw Jenny in a hospital gown on the sidewalk. Just as Huo Juncheng was about to park the car, a small van drove in front of them and stopped next to Jenny.
Several big men jumped out of the car and carried Jenny into the van.
Jenny struggled but it was no use.
There were few people on the street, and those people moved so quickly that no one noticed that a woman was kidnapped in the street.
"Chase him!" Lin Yilan suddenly became anxious.
Huo Juncheng understood without Lin Yilan saying anything, and he stepped on the accelerator and chased after him.
But the minivan seemed to sense someone was chasing them and sped up as well. The two cars sped down the main road, passing several traffic lights. The minivan didn't stop, so Huo Juncheng gritted his teeth and ran a red light to catch up.
The minivan turned onto a shabby side road in the old city. There were no traffic lights or surveillance cameras on the road. Just as Huo Juncheng was about to catch up with the minivan, the door suddenly opened. A masked man in black leaned halfway out of the van.
Lin Yilan saw clearly what he was holding in his hand, her pupils dilated instantly, and she reached out and pressed Huo Juncheng's head down.
It's a gun! That man has a gun!
There was a deafening "bang"!
The car spun 360 degrees before coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The immense impact made it impossible to control the direction.
Huo Juncheng finally stepped on the brakes, and the first thing he did was to see if Lin Yilan was okay.
"Are you okay?"
Lin Yilan clutched her seatbelt tightly. Aside from feeling a little dizzy, she had no other reaction. She shook her head. "I'm fine, but Jenny... we can't seem to catch up."
