In Xiaofang Village outside Kyoto, Lu Jun received the package as he wished.
"Comrade postman, thank you for your hard work."
He clasped his hands in gratitude to the postman, picked up the package and was about to go back when he was stopped by the postman again:
"Comrade, do you have a Comrade Su Xing here?" asked the postman.
"Yes, yes, we just happen to live together."
"He also has a package here, you can take it to him." The postman handed the package to him and rode away on his bike.
Lu Jun returned to the educated youth camp with two packages in his arms: "Su Xing, Su Xing, I've brought your package back to you."
He returned to the room shouting, threw Su Xing's package to him, sang a cheerful little song, and squatted on the ground to open it.
Su Xing put the package aside and sat beside him, curious about the instant noodles he had been talking about.
"One, two... ten copies, ten copies. Comrade Wen actually sent me ten copies!" After counting, Lu Jun jumped up happily and circled around Su Xing.
Su Xing frowned: "Is this what you call noodles? It's strange, is it really that delicious?"
He looked at the crooked noodles in the package with a questioning look on his face.
Lu Jun did not argue with him, picked up a bag, and generously placed it in his hand: "For the sake of our brotherhood, let me show you."
So, the two of them didn't need to cook for dinner. They used the water in the kettle to make two servings of instant noodles.
As expected, Su Xing was attracted by his idea. He slurped his noodles and whispered to him, "What do you think, we can sell these noodles on the black market?"
Lu Jun had thought about this before. In the past two years, he and Su Xing had been trading things on the black market, but they were all grains, eggs and the like collected from the village. He had also accumulated some connections, so it was naturally easy for him to sell such good things.
But the difficulty is that there is so little of it. Comrade Wen doesn't know how long it will take to send him some. He doesn't even have enough to eat himself, so how can he bear to sell it? He said weakly:
"I know I can make money from this, but this little bit of food is not even enough for me to eat. How can I give it away for free to others?" Lu Jun frowned, looking reluctant.
"Can't you ask them to get more?" Su Xing raised his chin and suggested.
"You think she's your family? She'll do whatever you ask her to do." Lu Jun rolled his eyes at him. "She's a military wife, someone the team protects. How could she engage in black market activities with people like us who have nothing to do with her?"
Su Xing thought about it and it made sense. He grew up in a compound and was not afraid of the people in the team, but he really couldn't force them to supply them!
"What a pity for such a good thing!" he sighed.
"I wonder if we can reach an agreement with the Beijing Food Factory. If we can, maybe we can buy some in the future."
When Su Xing heard what he said, he slapped him on the head and said sarcastically, "You have a pig brain! How could such a precious thing be sold domestically first? Those old guys up there will definitely use it to earn foreign exchange first. It may take years before we can eat it."
"That's right! Comrade Wen is really amazing. She can even make such wonderful things!" Lu Jun sighed softly, "If she wasn't married, I would have wanted to marry her. She's beautiful, capable, and gentle."
Suddenly he sat up with a start, pointed at Su Xing's package and said, "Hurry and take a look at what your family sent you. Let's share half of it when we meet. You can't eat it all by yourself."
Su Xing looked at his anxious look and without saying anything, he tore open the outer bag in a few seconds.
The air was frozen for a moment, and the two of them stared at the things in the bag, but no one moved.
"That's impossible! Could it be that the name is wrong? Is this also addressed to me? Did the postman make a mistake?"
Lu Jun took a pack of noodles in his hand and examined it carefully. Yes, they were exactly the same. Could it be that the food factory had started selling them? It couldn't be so fast!
Su Xing was the first to react. He took out the envelope from the package and opened it. This time he was really stunned.
Lu Jun was puzzled. Seeing Su Xing standing there blankly with a dull look on his face, he pushed him.
Su Xing came back to his senses and ignored him. He knelt on the ground excitedly and rummaged through the package. Finally, he found it and breathed a sigh of relief.
He took the watch, stroked the dial carefully, and then carefully put it on his wrist. This was a gift from his sister. He, Su Xing, finally had a sister.
"This watch is nice. It's the first time I've seen this style. Your family is really willing to spend money on it!" Lu Jun looked at the watch on his wrist with envy.
"What's going on with this? Does the letter say anything? Is anyone selling it downtown?" Lu Jun was still waiting for someone to clear his confusion for him.
Su Xing couldn't explain it in a few words, so he handed the letter to him and said, "Read it yourself!" Then he started to rummage through his suitcase. He wanted to see how much money he had so that he could send more things to his sister.
Lu Jun looked at the letter and found it very magical. What a fate! A girl he met randomly on the train turned out to be his good brother's long-lost sister!
No, it seems like something has been overlooked. Yes, does this mean they can make money? This isn't a sister, this is clearly the God of Wealth coming!
