In her previous life, her family owned a food processing factory and had several recipes for instant noodles. She found a recipe in her father's study and copied it down for future use.
Looking at the copied recipe, Wen Guoer couldn't help but have an urge to make some herself so that she would have a safe way to make instant noodles in the future.
In the past, instant noodle cakes were all produced on an assembly line, cut into shape by a special wave-cutting machine, and then fried and dried at high temperature. Obviously, many of these conditions cannot be met now.
However, it is not impossible to do it with ready-made noodles.
She first boiled the noodles until they were 80% cooked, then removed them and rinsed them with cold water so that they would be chewier.
Then pick up the noodles and spread them in a curved shape in a flat-bottomed round enamel cup to a thickness of about three centimeters, and let them dry until the noodles are formed.
Then mix five-spice powder, chili powder, MSG, white sugar and salt into powder and sprinkle it evenly on the dough.
Pour cooking oil into the pan and heat it to 50%. Place the dough in the oil and fry until both sides are golden brown.
She had successfully made instant noodle pancakes. She tried a bite, and it was delicious even when eaten dry.
Then chop the onion, carrot, cabbage and lean meat, roast and dry them over the fire, add salt, MSG and spices to make a seasoning packet.
The meat sauce she made was made with pork ribs. She added various stewing ingredients such as star anise, bay leaves, cinnamon, chili peppers, soy sauce, and salt to the ribs and stewed them until the soup was thick. In order to facilitate long-term storage, she took out potassium sorbate from the space laboratory and added a little for preservation. The ribs were then left to cool and take shape.
Before I knew it, the morning had passed.
When Tang Zhan came back, he saw his young wife holding a strange-looking pancake in her hand, looking very proud.
"You're back? There's something delicious for lunch today."
Seeing Tang Zhan coming back, Wen Guoer ran to him excitedly and took his hand and walked towards the kitchen.
"Wife, this smells so good."
On the way back, Tang Zhan smelled an enticing fragrance, but he didn't expect it came from his own home.
"I'm mixing the seasoning for this instant noodle, so the taste is a bit strong." She pointed to the pot of sauce and showed it to him.
"How do I eat this?" Tang Zhan asked in confusion.
Wen Guoer smiled slyly, quickly made some instant noodles under his watchful eyes, and announced:
"Lunch will be ready in three minutes."
Although Tang Zhan didn't understand her weirdness, he thought he could accept anything as long as it was done by his wife.
Three minutes later, when the instant noodles entered his mouth, Tang Zhan had to be impressed by his wife's strange behavior. He also realized that this was the instant noodles that his wife had mentioned before, which Kyoto Food Factory had set its sights on.
"This thing is really convenient. It smells so good just by brewing it." Tang Zhan exclaimed as he ate.
"Apart from the oil and flour consumption, it's really convenient and can be stored for a long time."
Wen Guoer's answer was very objective. In this era when whole grains are considered good things, not to mention fried noodles, even instant noodles are not something that ordinary people can eat.
White flour and oil are extremely precious things nowadays. At Tang Zhan's level, he is only allocated 2 taels of oil per month. Add in the meat sauce as a topping, and there is no doubt that this instant noodle will be loved by everyone.
Wen Guoer divided the noodles into five portions, planning to send one portion each to Tang's mother, Lu Jun, her eldest brother, and her third brother who went to the countryside, and take the rest to her grandfather, father, and second brother to taste.
Obviously, what she did was not enough, but there was enough in the space, which was more than enough.
After lunch, Tang Zhan took Wen Guoer to the military hospital.
Based on the description, the doctor initially judged that it might be a pregnancy reaction, but because the baby was too young, it was not suitable to do an ultrasound examination, so he could only do a urine test.
The two sat in the hospital corridor waiting for the results.
"Deputy Captain Tang, is that you?"
A female nurse ran towards them, her eyes full of excitement, her voice soft and a bit coquettish.
Wen Guoer and Tang Zhan looked over when they heard the sound and saw the female nurse in front of them.
Tang Zhan greeted Nurse Liu, then turned around and softly introduced Wen Guoer to him.
"She, who is she?" Nurse Liu looked at Wen Guoer with confusion in her eyes, and the smile on her face disappeared.
Tang Zhan introduced generously: "This is my wife, Wen Guoer."
"Are you married?" Nurse Liu looked incredulous, her eyes wandering to Wen Guoer, looking her up and down.
"Yes." Tang Zhan's gaze stopped on Wen Guoer's face, full of tenderness.
Nurse Liu listened to his affectionate address, looked at the look in his eyes as he looked at her, and lowered her head in embarrassment.
This is the man she has been thinking about day and night, but she doesn't know that he is actually married!
Didn’t she just go out for further studies for a month? How come he already has a wife?
Knowing that he had lost his composure a bit and needed to calm down first, he lowered his eyes and greeted them:
"Oh, I, I'll go get busy first."
She turned hastily and walked quickly to the corner of the corridor and disappeared.
Wen Guoer watched her the whole time, from happiness to disappointment. She could guess with her toes that Nurse Liu had some complicated feelings for Tang Zhan.
"Aren't you going to explain?" she asked him, looking up.
Of course Tang Zhan also felt something was wrong, but he really didn't understand why Nurse Liu's mood suddenly changed?
He also didn't understand why the look in his wife's eyes when she looked at him suddenly became sharp?
He was also helpless: "Wife, I, I don't know either, what's wrong with her?"
"You really have nothing to do with Nurse Liu?" she asked.
"She was the nurse in charge of me when I was injured and hospitalized last time. Other than that, we have no connection."
Seeing that his expression didn't seem fake, Wen Guo'er narrowed her eyes cunningly: "I'll just reluctantly trust you. Don't try to attract attention outside in the future."
