Chapter Sixteen
It was evening, and golden light shone into the office, casting dappled patterns on the floor.
The two children in the office were still arguing, one standing at the door and the other standing by the window.
Bathed in sunlight, Fang Jingyao leaned against the windowsill, idly reaching out to fiddle with the multi-headed roses that the teacher had placed on the windowsill.
The teacher and the driver stood in front of the desk, looking helplessly at the two little ones.
Ye Suidong, who was at the door, had been calmed down. However, Fang Jingyao, who was standing by the window, was still angry and sulking. The teacher looked at the driver, hoping that the driver could find a way to coax Fang Jingyao.
The driver helplessly shrugged, indicating that he had no other choice. He was new and not very familiar with this young master of the Fang family.
This young master of the Fang family has always had a good temper, is well-behaved and polite. This is the first time he has ever seen the young master of the Fang family get angry and throw a tantrum.
The driver didn't dare to say anything out of turn and could only wait for Wen Yixing or someone else to arrive before speaking.
The teacher walked over to Fang Jingyao, squatted down, put her hands on his shoulders, and coaxed him softly, "Yaoyao, shall we put on a band-aid first?"
Fang Jingyao had a noticeable bite mark and scratch on his neck. The wound was small and there was no bleeding. It was estimated that the wound would heal soon.
The teacher knew that Fang Jingyao was sulking, so without waiting for his reply, she bent down and tore off a sticker and put it on Fang Jingyao.
Fortunately, the little girl was quite well-behaved and didn't make a fuss. She stood still and let her put on the band-aid.
The teacher breathed a sigh of relief, patted Fang Jingyao's head, and praised, "Yaoyao is such a good boy."
After comforting this one, the teacher turned her attention to the other person standing in the corner.
Ye Suidong's injuries were much more serious than Fang Jingyao's. His right eyelid was slightly swollen, and he had two scratches on his arm.
Overall, Fang Jingyao, that little brat, was quite ruthless.
The school doctor treated Ye Suidong's injuries earlier; they were all superficial wounds and nothing serious. He would be fine after a couple of days of rest.
The teacher then went over and spoke with Ye Suidong for a while.
Compared to Fang Jingyao's strength, four-year-old Ye Suidong appeared somewhat thin and weak.
He only transferred here yesterday and doesn't talk much. The teacher couldn't understand what grudge these two children had against each other that caused them to suddenly start fighting for no reason. Fang Jingyao, who is usually very obedient, even hit him so hard.
The school had not revealed Fang Jingyao's true identity to her, but judging from her usual attire and lifestyle, the teachers could tell that Fang Jingyao came from a very wealthy family.
The teacher suddenly felt a little worried, and she decided to talk to the principal first.
Fang Jingyao had calmed down by now, and he turned to look at Ye Suidong standing in the corner.
At this time, Ye Suidong was still thin and weak. He was only four years old and his face was very tender. However, his deep blue eyes had a calm and profound quality that was different from those of people his age.
Putting everything else aside, Fang Jingyao just couldn't stand Ye Suidong's cold, aloof demeanor. He always felt that Ye Suidong was arrogant and had an innate air of superiority.
In his previous life, Fang Jingyao and Ye Suidong met in their first year of high school. They were always at odds and often had various conflicts, so they could be considered old enemies.
At that time, Fang Jingyao, relying on his family's wealth, caused trouble for Ye Suidong at every turn.
Looking back now, Fang Jingyao thinks he must have been out of his mind, doing all sorts of stupid things.
Although he had reflected on his actions, it didn't stop Fang Jingyao from still disliking Ye Suidong's arrogant face.
To be honest, Ye Suidong is not bad-looking, even quite pretty, but her figure is too slender.
In Fang Jingyao's words, she looked effeminate, not sunny at all, and had a cold and gloomy aura.
Fang Jingyao still remembers the first time he fought with Ye Suidong when he was in his first year of high school.
Ye Suidong looked thin and weak back then, but he was no slouch when it came to fighting; every move he made was a dirty trick.
He appeared fine when he returned home that day, but he was in pain for seven whole days after returning to his dormitory.
Perhaps Fang Jingyao's gaze was too obvious, because Ye Suidong turned around and looked over.
After the teacher sent a message to the principal, she saw the two children glaring at each other fiercely again.
For a moment, the teacher was at a loss for words, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
Other children would cry and get angry when they quarrel, but these two are different; they seem to be holding their breath.
After the fight, they didn't cry or make a fuss; they just glared at each other fiercely.
It was as if they were staring at each other so intently they could burn a hole through each other.

The car slowly stopped at the kindergarten gate. Seeing that the destination had been reached, the driver opened the car door and got out first, preparing to open the car door for Wen Yixing.
However, at the same time the driver got out of the car, Shen Jingshao also opened the car door and got out.
The driver hesitated for a moment, then wisely stood at the car door without going forward.
Wen Yixing hadn't expected Shen Jingshao to come all the way to open the door for her. After getting out of the car and regaining her balance, she looked up at him with a faint smile in her eyes: "Thank you for bringing me here."
The setting sun was too dazzling. Shen Jingshao was backlit, so Wen Yixing couldn't see his expression. She could only see his tall figure and smooth facial contours.
The face gradually overlapped with the one in her memory. Thinking of that arrogant boy, Wen Yixing felt that time really changes people a lot.
Wen Yixing remembered Shen Jingshao; back then, Shen Jingshao's name was Shen Zhuo.
At that time, their two classes were far apart, one at the far east end of the teaching building and the other at the far west end. One class was the top class in the whole grade, and the other was the worst class in the whole grade. During their three years of high school, the two rarely had any interaction.
Even so, during high school, Wen Yixing often heard the name Shen Zhuo. Shen Zhuo was handsome, and although he didn't study hard and often skipped classes to go outside of school, many girls at that time liked this type.
