Chapter 32 A man's thoughts are self-evident

Chapter Thirty-Two

Teacher Orange from the kindergarten noticed that Fang Jingyao had been acting strangely lately; he always seemed to want to talk to children whose parents were divorced.

Teacher Chengzi recalled that Fang Jingyao's father had not visited since Fang Jingyao started attending kindergarten here.

Whether it's a parent-child activity organized by the school or a parent-teacher meeting, it's always Fang Jingyao's mother who comes.

After observing for several days, Teacher Chengzi keenly guessed that Fang Jingyao's strange behavior might be due to problems in his parents' relationship.

So, after his afternoon nap that day, Teacher Cheng called Fang Jingyao, who had just woken up, to her office. She squatted down in front of him, rubbed his chubby little face, and whispered, "Yaoyao, is something bothering you lately?"

Fang Jingyao, who had just woken up, was stumped by the teacher's question again. He looked up at the teacher with a blank expression.

He's actually quite happy lately. He eats well, sleeps well, and occasionally gets to eat meals cooked by his mother. He has practically no worries.

Besides thinking about how to get Fang Shiyan to divorce his mother.

Before Fang Jingyao could speak, Teacher Chengzi continued, "Yaoyao, don't worry too much. Mommy and Daddy love you very much. Yaoyao is definitely Mommy and Daddy's little darling, right?"

Fang Jingyao was even more confused.

He is definitely his mother's darling, but whether he is Fang Shiyan's darling is another question.

Thinking of this, Fang Jingyao also remembered that Fang Shiyan had hardly come home these days!

He couldn't do anything about it!

This is infuriating!

The office air conditioner was whirring, and the air was a bit chilly, which helped Fang Jingyao calm down.

Looking into Teacher Cheng's clear and gentle eyes, Fang Jingyao could only keep his thoughts to himself. He rubbed his eyes and obediently replied, "Mm!"

Teacher Cheng chatted with Fang Jingyao for a while and found that Fang Jingyao was still optimistic and cheerful, and his personality had not changed much from before.

Only then did Teacher Orange feel relieved enough to let him leave.

Fang Jingyao happily returned to his class and saw Ye Suidong sitting quietly at the table folding origami cranes.

Her small frame looked exceptionally thin, and the blue school uniform made her appear much larger than she was.

After thinking for a moment, he took out two cartons of yogurt from his schoolbag and placed one of them on Ye Suidong's desk.

Seeing Ye Suidong looking over, Fang Jingyao immediately said, "You took too much yogurt, you can't drink it all, here's one for you!"

These days, his relationship with Ye Suidong has become much better than in his previous life.

After Fang Jingyao discovered that Ye Suidong often didn't have enough to eat, he asked the family cook to bring him two extra meals.

Since there's no shortage of food at home, the chef won't ask any questions if he makes this request.

So every lunchtime, Fang Jingyao would sit with Ye Suidong and keep adding food to her rice bowl.

When Fang Jingyao first thought of Ye Suidong's aloof demeanor during his high school years in his previous life, he was a little worried that Ye Suidong would not be willing to eat the food given to him.

But perhaps the food at home was too fragrant and delicious, or perhaps Ye Suidong was really hungry. In any case, Ye Suidong did not refuse him, so Fang Jingyao naturally fed him.

He also had no shortage of snacks at home; occasionally, the housekeeper would put snacks in his backpack.

Fang Jingyao doesn't like children's snacks as much anymore, and sometimes he will just throw the snacks from his schoolbag to Ye Suidong to eat.

After the food improved, Fang Jingyao noticed that Ye Suidong, who was originally very thin, seemed to have gained some weight.

Although he was still a child himself, Fang Jingyao inexplicably felt the joy of raising a child.

Seeing that Fang Jingyao kept looking her over, Ye Suidong turned around and asked, "What are you looking at?"

Fang Jingyao was too embarrassed to say, "You've gained weight."

He hesitated for a moment, but his gaze noticed that the back of Ye Suidong's neck seemed to be red and swollen. He leaned closer and asked, "What happened to you?"

Ye Suidong dodged almost immediately, his gaze somewhat wary.

After meeting Fang Jingyao's somewhat bewildered gaze for a few seconds, she gradually relaxed.

Despite being a child, his voice was somewhat cold: "It's nothing."

Fang Jingyao didn't bother arguing with a child, and besides, he knew that Ye Suidong was just like that.

He didn't pay much attention and lay down on the table, scribbling and drawing on the paper.

The sky outside the window was a bit overcast, with dark clouds obscuring the sun, making it look like it was about to rain.

Teacher Chengzi came in and turned on the light. After Ye Suidong finished folding the origami cranes in his hand, he handed them to Fang Jingyao.

Fang Jingyao turned to look at her in surprise: "For me?"

"Hmm." Ye Suidong sat on the small stool next to him, her young face seemingly possessing a maturity beyond her years. She asked, "What are you thinking about?"

Fang Jingyao rested his chin on his hands, looking at the leaves swaying in the wind outside the window, and said with a deep expression, "I'm thinking about how to get my parents to divorce."

Ye Suidong: "?"

——

Wen Yixing had no idea that her son was so worried about her.

After a busy day, Wen Yixing packed her things to leave work. Just as she finished packing, she turned around and saw someone blocking her way. It was Nanhe, who was wearing a mask and hat.

Nanhe stared at her with his light brown eyes.

Seeing that Nanhe's expression was somewhat serious, Wen Yixing thought something had happened. She put down her water glass and asked, "What's wrong?"

Seeing that no one was around, Nanhe pulled down her mask, revealing half of her face, and slowly said, "It's been so many years, Sister Xing, how about we have dinner together tonight?"

Nanhe should have some activities to attend tonight. When Wen Yixing heard Nanhe ask this question, she was a little taken aback.
