She paused for two seconds before turning to look at him and calmly asking, "So, you liked me back in high school?"
There was no point in hiding this question, and Shen Jingshao answered calmly, "Yes."
Wen Yixing didn't say anything more.
Most of her high school memories are about Fang Shiyan, and she has very few memories of Shen Jingshao.
But vaguely, every day on her way back to the dormitory after evening self-study, she would always encounter a tall boy.

As Wen Yixing unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car, Shen Jingshao came over and reached out to help her close the car door.

A shadow fell.
He gently embraced her, burying his head in her neck.
Wen Yixing remained motionless, seemingly not quite reacting.
Upon smelling her familiar, light fragrance, Shen Jingshao's voice became somewhat suppressed and trembling.
He didn't forget to comfort her: "I don't want to do anything, I just want to hug you."
Wen Yixing did not push him away.
A cool breeze was blowing, and the wind by the river stirred her skirt.
She quietly let him hold her for a while.
After a long while, Wen Yixing finally raised her hand and gently patted his back.
