Chapter 142 Rong Chen is just too scheming
Rong Chen really didn't know why she suddenly got angry. He carefully recalled what he had just said and didn't find any problems. He didn't say anything wrong.
"Wanwan?" Rong Chen called her innocently.
"You're the best and you're omnipotent. You make me so angry!" Shu Wan looked at him hatefully, "Rong Chen, ah Rong Chen, you... you're so scheming," Yes, he was too scheming, "I..." Rong Chen felt aggrieved, but he didn't dare to say it.
"I'm sleepy!" Shu Wan was really a little sleepy at this moment and yawned heavily.
"Then let's go to bed!" Rong Chen really didn't want her to leave his sight for even a second, so he simply climbed onto the bed and held Shu Wan in his arms.
"What?" Shu Wan didn't want to pay attention to this person, but although he said that, he was actually satisfied in his heart.
"I'll keep an eye on you, or you might kick the quilt!" Rong Chen said righteously, "Don't let this medicine go to waste!"
"Tsk, you sound so righteous!" Shu Wan muttered, but in the end she didn't say anything else. She leaned in his arms, found a comfortable position, and fell asleep quietly.
As Rong Chen expected, not long after, Shu Wan, who was half asleep, began to kick the quilt with her feet left and right.
Rong Chen had no choice but to pull the quilt back and cover her again and again.
Shu Wan was sweating because of the medicine she had taken, so she kicked the quilt lightly. She even kicked Rong Chen.
Rong Chen felt pain, but he still held the person in his arms, otherwise Shu Wan would definitely kick the quilt and fall off the bed.
Having learned from the previous experience, Rong Chen was prepared this time, so when Shu Wan kicked him again, he simply reached out and grabbed Shu Wan's foot.
Shu Wan was completely unaware of all this. She only knew in her daze that she was like being in a big steamer. She just wanted to find a way to make herself more comfortable, so she rolled around in Rong Chen's arms. She was satisfied with this, but it was a pity for Rong Chen, who didn't sleep a wink all night.
Rong Chen gritted his teeth, closed his eyes and tried not to think too much.
He had never felt that time was so unbearable. It felt like centuries had passed, but he still didn't hear the crowing of a rooster.
After tormenting for a long time, Shu Wan finally calmed down and fell into a deep sleep.
Rong Chen was not sleepy at all and kept his eyes open until dawn. Only after it was bright did Rong Chen feel sleepy. Then seeing Shu Wan was still sleeping soundly, he hugged Shu Wan and fell asleep.
The two of them slept until noon.
Shu Wan was woken up by hunger. She turned over and sat up, touching her rumbling stomach. She didn't know how long she had slept and was a little confused.
When she moved, Rong Chen woke up immediately. He opened his eyes and looked at Shu Wan who was sitting on the bed with a puzzled look on his face.
"Awake!" Rong Chen reached out and touched her forehead to see if she was still hot. Fortunately, her fever had subsided. He felt relieved. "Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere else?" He asked one more question.
"Everything is fine. Apart from being hungry, I don't feel uncomfortable anywhere!" Shu Wan touched his stomach and shook his head in a very serious manner.
"Greedy cat!" Rong Chen said as he got up from the bed and walked out, "Wait a minute, I'll get you something to eat."
"Man is iron and food is steel. Do you know that you will be very hungry if you don't eat? Do you know that food is the most important thing for people?" Shu Wan said angrily as he stretched out his hand and made a threatening gesture.
