Chapter 103 Hot Reality Show 1

Ling Ruoke slept very comfortably.

Her dreams were filled with images of her being with Qingfeng, so she was even smiling in her dreams.

With a soft moan, she stretched gently and opened her eyes. She paused for a moment upon seeing the purple gauze curtains, then remembered where she was.

As she stared blankly at the tent ceiling, she suddenly felt a weight on her chest. Looking down, she saw an arm; turning her head, she saw a magnified male face. Startled, she sat bolt upright! "How did you get in my bed?"

"Shut up!" The wolf was sleeping soundly. He mumbled something, pulled out a pillow, covered his head with it, and went back to sleep.

Ling Ruoke looked down and saw that her pajamas were still on. She moved her legs a little, and thankfully, she didn't feel like she had done *that*. She secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

She reached out, intending to wake him. But just before her hand touched him, she pulled it back. Oh well, he hadn't slept much lately anyway, so she decided to let him have the bed.

Ling Ruoke hurriedly got out of bed. She quietly opened the window; the countryside morning was so comfortable! The air was so fresh, and it even tasted sweet.

I couldn't wait to run into the bathroom to wash up and change my clothes, and then I dashed downstairs.

"Good morning, Miss Ruoke."

"Good morning. I'm going out for a walk." She jogged out the door, feeling like she was going on a trip.

Last night it was dark, and although the lights were on, many things were still hard to see. Now, we can really appreciate it.

Stepping out of the castle gates, the view was incredibly expansive. Flowerbeds lined both sides of the gate, bursting with beautiful blooms. A passageway opened up in the middle, leading about ten meters to a stone staircase that descended to a path. This path wasn't paved with asphalt, but rather paved with bluestone slabs, roughly three meters wide, exuding an ancient charm. Standing on the steps and looking ahead, fertile fields stretched into the distance, and distant, misty mountains rose into view—a boundless expanse of green.

Ling Ruoke opened her arms, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath, feeling completely refreshed. She thought to herself that this atmosphere was perfect for singing out loud! But, it seemed a little silly, hehe…

She stretched out her legs and began to jog slowly along the cobblestone path. The morning breeze caressed her face, feeling pleasantly cool. The air she breathed into her stomach felt so refreshing…

A window in one of the upstairs rooms opened, and a man, shirtless, leaned against the window. He watched the scene in front of the door, and the silly little woman's excited behavior.

She stretched her arms and yawned, having had a rare good night's sleep last night. Even more remarkable was that he hadn't touched her. She didn't know why, even though she had overcome her reason, she had ultimately stopped.

Was it because this girl looked too much like Mo Wen? He couldn't say for sure.

Over the years, it hasn't been hard to find someone like Bai Lian who bears a resemblance to Mo Wen in appearance, but Ruo Ke is the first person whose personality is so much like Mo Wen's. Perhaps he was already captivated the moment she smashed a bottle over her head to see him. He almost thought that his Mo Wen had returned.

However, the deep affection in those clear eyes wasn't for him. No matter how similar he resembled him, he was ultimately not Mo Wen, not the Mo Wen whose eyes were only for him.

The wolf exhaled a breath towards the sky and slowly closed its eyes. When it opened them again, they had become like a still, ancient well, revealing not a trace of emotion.

He turned and went back to his bedroom through the hidden door, picked up his phone and made a call. "Come over sometime tomorrow, I'll bring you a pumpkin."

Without waiting for a response, he cut off the connection.

I picked out a white tracksuit from the closet, put it on, and went downstairs feeling refreshed.

"Master, you're awake. Shall we have breakfast now?" Shang Que had been waiting quietly for a long time.

The wolf waved its hand and strode towards the door. Its steps seemed somewhat hurried.

Shang Que watched from behind, thinking to himself that the girl might really be the mistress of the house. He had to tell the servants to be careful and not offend their future mistress.

...

Ling Ruoke had no intention of running for exercise; she was simply enjoying the countryside breeze and air. Rather than running, she was more like playing, a mischievous girl who would stop every now and then to smell the flowers and admire the exotic plants.

When the wolf caught up with her, she was squatting by the roadside, teasing a mimosa plant. City A was a metropolis, and although she wasn't a pampered young lady, she rarely had the opportunity to see these natural flowers and plants.

"Looking at you like this, anyone who didn't know better would think you're 24 months old." A 24-year-old who still likes to squat by the roadside playing with mimosa plants!

Ling Ruoke was a little surprised by his appearance, then stuck out her tongue and made a face at him. "Keeping a childlike heart is the key to a happier life! Looking at your perpetually gloomy face, you must have lost your childlike heart too early!"

"How can someone without a childhood have a childlike heart?" He squatted down as well, speaking softly. He raised his hand, brushed aside the blade of grass, and watched the leaves close up.

Ling Ruoke was momentarily speechless. She stared blankly at him, unable to find a suitable word in her mind. She knew that those involved in organized crime weren't necessarily evil-hearted; they were mostly driven by the necessities of life.

Seeing her pensive and sympathetic expression, the wolf chuckled and patted her head. "Don't bother thinking of useless words to comfort me, I don't need them."

Mo Wen was the same way. Ever since she learned about his childhood, she loved and doted on him like a mother would love her child. No one could say a bad word about him, or she would fight them to the death.

Thinking of these things, a faint smile appeared on Wild Wolf's face. No matter how much time had passed, Mo Wen would always be the warmest memory in his heart.

Ling Ruoke also noticed his slight absent-mindedness and the barely perceptible smile on his face. Perhaps it was those fleeting moments of warmth that made her feel he wasn't a bad person! "You should smile more."

The wolf's smile faded, and he raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"Because as long as you smile, the bitterness will fade away on its own. Life is only a few decades long; if you live in constant suffering, it will feel incredibly long. Wouldn't that be too pitiful?" Ling Ruoke realized that people can always offer a lot of reasoning when comforting others. But when it comes to themselves, it's all just empty talk.

The wolf couldn't help but laugh. "What an innocent little girl. But sometimes, innocence is a kind of happiness."

For someone who sees through everything, life is actually meaningless; it's just suffering. Clearly, he was suffering.

Ling Ruoke smiled too. "I think so too. If someone can be naive, it means that someone has provided them with a clean sky, and that is indeed a kind of happiness."

The wolf glanced at her, stood up, and slowly walked forward. Yes, it was because someone else held up the sky that he had the right to be naive. Once, he naively thought that life would get better and better, back when Mo Wen used her frail shoulders to hold up a corner of the clear sky for him.

Ling Ruoke knew that deep in his heart, there was someone hidden away. She walked slowly beside him, without saying a word.

The wolf stared at the road ahead for a long time before suddenly speaking.

"When I met her, I was in the first year of junior high, and she was in the first year of senior high. I was an unwanted orphan, while she was a model student that her parents and teachers were proud of. Her father was a doctor, and her mother was a teacher; they were well-off. Our paths crossed during a fight. I was outnumbered, and although I beat them all, I ended up with a bloody head. She's the kind of person who's very soft-hearted, and she insisted on taking me to the hospital. I didn't want to, but she dragged me to the neighborhood clinic..."

He didn't continue speaking, but instead became lost in his own world, isolating her from it.

Ling Ruoke didn't dare ask a single question; she was most afraid of touching on someone's sore spot.

The two walked slowly, neither speaking. The birdsong was melodious and cheerful, enlivening the quiet morning.

The wolf suddenly stopped and looked at her.

Ling Ruoke also stopped and looked back in confusion.

The wolf reached out and stroked her hair, then slowly embraced her.

Ling Ruoke initially struggled, but then realized he was just embracing her, so she froze. She sensed that she must resemble the person in his heart in some way.

The wolf closed his eyes, held her quietly for a moment, then released his arms. "Let's go, time for breakfast. Run, keep up!"

Before she could react, he started running.

Ling Ruoke paused for a moment, then took off after him.

"Hurry up, even a tortoise can crawl faster than you." The man casually strode along, mercilessly mocking her.

Although Ling Ruoke sometimes jogs in the neighborhood, her pace is more like a leisurely stroll. He may look slow, but he has long legs, so one of his steps is equivalent to three of hers. Therefore, she struggles to keep up.

"So what if you have long legs!" she retorted, dissatisfied. But she still mustered all her strength to keep up with his pace, though her breathing became heavier and heavier.

When the two stopped at the castle gate, Ling Ruoke felt like her lungs were on fire. She plopped down on the stone steps, panting like a water buffalo.

"That's not enough? I doubt it. You probably won't survive the rest of your life." The wolf shook his head and went into the house.

Ling Ruoke didn't understand what he meant. Did he intend to train her to be a long-distance runner? Oh well, whatever he was up to.

Ling Ruoke waited until her breathing calmed down before entering the house.

The wolves were already eating at the table.

Ling Ruoke went to wash her hands and came out. "Wow, what a feast!" This breakfast is even more lavish than other people's lunch. They really are rich!

"It's plentiful, but it's always missing something, isn't it?" Wild Wolf said with a smile, chewing on his sandwich.

Ling Ruoke raised an eyebrow, and after thinking for a moment, she understood. "You mean, the taste of home?"

Come to think of it, these chefs must be incredibly skilled, but they just treat preparing three meals a day as a job. Family meals, on the other hand, are filled with so much love.

The wolf chuckled but didn't answer.

"Hey, are you going out today?" Running such a big business, he must be spinning like a top.

"What? You want me to stay and keep you company?"

Ling Ruoke pouted. "I don't care, I was just asking casually."

"When you came to me for help, you didn't act like this. Tell me, isn't this like crossing the river and burning the bridge?" The key point is that the river isn't even completely crossed yet, isn't this a bit too hasty?

Ling Ruoke opened her mouth to retort, but then found herself speechless. After a long pause, she finally said, "I didn't mean anything by it. Can't we even banter?"

"Okay. But usually it's couples who bicker. You mean you've made up your mind to live with me?" In fact, he enjoyed this feeling too; it was so rare.

Ling Ruoke frowned and pouted. "Even siblings bicker, does that mean they're going to be a couple? That's ridiculous!"

"But we're not siblings, are we? I'm sure my deadbeat father didn't have a bastard daughter like you."

"Well... haven't you heard of brothers who are closer than blood brothers? Do you have to be related by blood? Aren't all your men your brothers?" This was accompanied by a cold snort.

The wolf smiled slightly and leaned towards her. "The problem is, I don't want you to be my sister. I want a woman, not a sister, understand?" He raised his hand and patted her cheek.

When the topic came up again, Ling Ruoke was a little confused. She was afraid he would remember what happened last night, and what she feared came true.

"Scared? When you came to me, weren't you already prepared?" That's how people are. When they have nothing, they have the courage to burn their bridges. But once they have something, with ties and concerns, they lose that courage.

Ling Ruoke's secret was exposed. "Who, who's afraid!"

He's right, she was prepared from the beginning. But... Qingfeng is still alive, and she longs to return to his side. She seems to have a little...

"Aren't you afraid? It's best if you're not afraid. Then stay by my side and be my woman." He said, pressing her head against the back of her head and drawing her forehead to his lips.

Let go of her and focus on having breakfast.

Ling Ruoke glanced at him, then lowered her head to eat, her mind racing. Qingfeng was still alive and well; she should be able to relax.

It's clear that Qingfeng was carrying out a mission, and his death was just a setup. Although he ultimately didn't need Wild Wolf's rescue, he had indeed reached an agreement with Wild Wolf. And Wild Wolf had done what he was supposed to do. Therefore, he should also keep his promise.

"If... if one day you get tired of me, will you let me leave?" She had a feeling that she had been chosen to enter the harem.

The wolf put down his chopsticks, looked at her, and suddenly burst into laughter. "You stupid woman! It's only just begun, and you're already thinking about getting tired of me. Can't you be like other women, thinking about how to keep my attention?"

"No one is lucky forever, and no flower blooms forever. I don't like wishful thinking." Besides, he doesn't love her, nor is he infatuated with her, so how could he possibly keep her forever?

Wild Wolf nodded. "You're quite self-aware. Where do you think you'll go if you leave me? You should know that by then, Sharp Blade will probably have found someone else, and he won't wait for you forever. Even if you regain your freedom, there will be no future for you two."

Ling Ruoke paused for a moment before remembering that Sharp Blade was Qingfeng's code name. She exhaled and smiled.

"I never thought he would wait for me my whole life, and I don't want him to. I just hope that after I leave, I can do whatever I want." Being with a wild wolf is like being a bird locked in a cage.

"You're quite content." Just like Mo Wen, you never ask for too much.

Ling Ruoke smiled somewhat bitterly. "Contentment brings happiness." Besides, her only wish had already been fulfilled, and she shouldn't ask for more.

“Very good, I like people like that. Someone will teach you how to do it today, and I look forward to your performance tonight.” He put down his chopsticks, stood up, and touched her cheek. “And believe me, your time here will be wonderful.”

He blinked and strode away.

Ling Ruoke felt she had lost all appetite. Although he didn't say it explicitly, it was obvious what he was going to teach!

After poking at her chopsticks for a while, she dejectedly put them down and scurried back to her room. The gauze curtains and sheets that she had initially thought were quite pretty now seemed increasingly suggestive!

She threw herself onto the soft bed, feeling refreshed after waking up in the morning, but now she felt exhausted. She wasn't as brave as she thought she was about to face everything; she was afraid.

I was rolling around in bed, so frustrated my head felt like it was going to explode.

"Knock knock knock..." A knocking sound suddenly rang out.

Ling Ruoke sprang from the bed, almost screaming. No need to look, it was definitely her instructor who had arrived!

Can she pretend to be asleep?

"Miss Ruoke, please open the door. Otherwise, we will break it down." It was Shang Que's voice.

Ling Ruoke hesitated for a while, but finally ran to open the door. Since she couldn't avoid it anyway, there was no need to break down the door.

"Miss Ruoke." Shang Que walked in.

A man and a woman followed behind him. The woman was petite and charming, wearing a black halter top, and very beautiful. The man was quite tall, with a blank expression on his face.

Two other people carried something that could be either a sofa or a bed and placed it in the middle of the room.

Shang Que then turned to the two people and said, "This is Miss Ruo Ke. Do what you should do, say what you should say. Don't do what you shouldn't do, and don't say a word you shouldn't say."

"Yes, Mr. Shang."

After Shang Que left, Ling Ruoke became extremely nervous. "Do you...do you want some water?"

"Miss Ruoke, please don't be so polite. Shall we begin?" It was the girl who spoke, and her expression showed no discomfort whatsoever, as if they were about to have a serious lesson.

"Huh? It's starting already?" Ling Ruoke felt like she was about to be in deep trouble. She'd never even watched that kind of film before; her only experience was that one night she made love with Qingfeng. But now, she not only had to watch a live show, but she also had to learn! This was going to be the death of her!

"Does Miss Ruoke have any other questions?" the girl asked calmly, looking at her.

Seeing how frank he was, Ling Ruoke didn't know what to say. She suddenly ran over, opened the door, and ran downstairs. "Shang Que, Shang Que."

"Miss Ruoke, what is it?" Shang Que quickly came into view.

Ling Ruoke was taken aback; she hadn't seen him appear out of nowhere. "Could you call Wild Wolf? I have something to say to him."

"Please wait a moment, Miss Ruoke." Shang Que took out a communication device, but it wasn't an ordinary cell phone; rather, it resembled one of those brick-like mobile phones from the beginning.

"Master, Miss Ruoke has something to discuss with you."

Ling Ruoke took the phone; used to those small phones, she almost dropped it. "Hello?"

"Missed me?" The wolf's voice was clearly tinged with laughter.

Ling Ruoke pouted subconsciously. "No, that's not it. I... I have something I want to talk to you about."

"Speak."

"Can I...can I not learn this? I think it's so weird." She even felt that Wild Wolf was deliberately messing with her. She absolutely refused to believe that his woman needed to go through this kind of training! It's not like it's a job; it doesn't require rigorous training before starting!

"Fine. I'll give you another option." If Ling Ruoke could see, she would know how hateful the man's expression was at that moment!

"What choice?" Why did she have a bad feeling?

The wolf covered its mouth, chuckled, and cleared its throat. "I'll find someone for you to practice with. Don't they say practice makes perfect?"

"You bastard, go to hell!" Ling Ruoke angrily threw down the phone and rushed upstairs like a rocket.

Therefore, she did not hear the hearty laughter coming from the other end of the phone.

Shang Que disapproved of his master's perverse tastes, but still dutifully reported the situation. "Master, Miss Ruoke has gone back to her room in anger."
