So besides being excited, I can't help but feel a little nervous. I want to go home from get off work early so that I can at least prepare well.
As soon as she left, Lu Qing'er wanted to pack up her things.
Anyway, as long as she is not outdone by Qi Yalan, other people are not within her comparison range at all.
Even among the students of the same internship class, there were a few who, because of their less-than-satisfactory performance in this assessment, were studying professional knowledge even harder, hoping to at least make up for it in this area.
But Lu Qing'er was not happy about it, or rather, she was really exhausted during this period because of the assessment at the beginning of the month.
The result was so unsatisfactory that she was hit hard. She felt that she needed to go back and have a good rest.
However, just as she was about to pack up and leave work early, Doctor Zhang came in, straightening the cuffs of his gown and saying, "Comrade Xiao Lu, please don't leave yet. Stay a little longer."
Lu Qing'er's heart skipped a beat, and she unconsciously clenched her hands. She forced a smile and asked, "Doctor Zhang, is there anything else?"
Doctor Zhang took off his glasses and wiped them, his eyes falling on Lu Qing'er, concerned that she had just completed the monthly assessment and had such poor results.
He said gently, "We've been quite busy lately. As a military doctor, you know this assessment is very important. Forget about everything else, we need to practice our professional foundation more firmly. Starting today, you should spend a little more time every day organizing or reviewing medical records, or doing some simulated training on trauma diagnosis, treatment, and bandaging. More practice will always help."
Dr. Zhang was completely kind-hearted. Even though she was dissatisfied with Lu Qing'er, she was still an intern under her, and she couldn't really just leave her alone.
What's more, Dr. Zhang felt that perhaps through this monthly assessment, Lu Qing'er would be able to see her own shortcomings and gaps, and perhaps would be able to listen to her opinions and be more patient.
But Lu Qing'er's face froze instantly. She gritted her teeth and tried to explain: "Doctor Zhang, I'm a little tired today. Can we do these things tomorrow?"
Doctor Zhang frowned slightly and said earnestly, "Comrade Xiao Lu, it's always good for young people to spend more time studying. Everyone has been working very hard lately, so you can't slack off."
This didn't sound like anything special at first, as those interns whose performance in recent assessments wasn't very good had indeed been working very hard. The bad part was what Dr. Zhang added afterwards.
"Through this monthly assessment, I think you've realized your own shortcomings and the gap between you and others. Let's not even talk about someone as talented as Dr. Yi, but at least some of your interns are equally talented and hardworking. Xiao Lu, I think if you work harder, you'll definitely be just as good as them, right?"
Lu Qing'er was so angry that she felt as if her lungs were on fire and there was a burning pain.
Qi Yalan! Qi Yalan again! As expected, these people in the medical department were flatterers and bullies. She didn't believe that if Qi Yalan had received such a good result today, they would still dare to speak like this.
But no matter how angry she was, she didn't dare show it on her face. She could only nod obediently and said softly, "Okay, Doctor Zhang, I know what to do. Thank you for your reminder."
There was still a trace of grievance in her eyes, but Dr. Zhang didn't see it. She didn't say anything else, just nodded with satisfaction, patted Lu Qing'er's shoulder encouragingly, and turned to leave.
As soon as Doctor Zhang turned and left, Lu Qing'er's face darkened.
She had a blank expression on her face as she mechanically collected the medical records, flipping the pages with a rustling sound, sneering in her heart.
