Chapter 30
The girl who was a god tilted her head and began to think seriously. She remembered a holographic game that they had researched and released a few days ago. She liked it very much from the moment the PV screen was released. However, she opened five accounts and failed to get a test spot. Now is a good opportunity!
The other party is the king insect, so isn't it easy for him to ask for a place in the game test?
She cleared her throat and said, "Then I'd like a spot in the closed beta test of that holographic sandbox game you're releasing."
"What?" The priest suspected that there was something wrong with his ears, otherwise how could he hear such a shockingly simple condition? He thought that the god would take the opportunity to ask them not to destroy the world again, or to complete some extremely difficult tasks for her, or to collect the treasures in the universe.
But I never expected that they only wanted a spot to test the game.
Perhaps in the eyes of God, their actions are like ignorant children waving plastic toys in their hands, which are meaningless. When you have more wealth, you will not covet the rough candy in the hands of children that they treasure.
Little did she know that the god before her was not that great and majestic at all. She was just a little girl who had gotten into trouble and was afraid of being reported.
The white-haired young man didn't know what to say, so he could only nod silently.
Seeing the other party agree so easily, the Creator's eyes lit up, and he tentatively proposed another condition: "I also want a VIP card with a lot of money!"
This was also a small matter for him: "Yeah."
So easy? The god stroked his chin and thought. Ensuring his sister's health and safety was a piece of cake. He was the god in charge of life, he just hadn't woken up yet. Any accidents were extremely rare, so there was no need for her to intervene.
She pressed the issue further, making new demands: "Then you must give me a test slot for any new games you release. I also want a state-of-the-art starship and an exoskeleton armor suit. I want them immediately upon my return!"
The King Insect looked at the god in front of him with complicated eyes, suspecting that the other party was letting him go for the sake of his mother, otherwise why would he put forward such insignificant things as conditions? After agreeing to everything, he saw the other party's mouth corners couldn't help but rise, and silently looked away.
What is going on? When the other party appeared, he was obviously tall and majestic, and full of mystery. He saved the day when the building was about to collapse, and even took him to see his mother who lived in another world.
When did her image as a god collapse?
After the negotiation, both of them got the results they wanted and breathed a sigh of relief.
The God of Creation intended to comfort the young man in front of him, thinking, "Don't go crazy and drag down the interstellar civilization that I have worked so hard to build. Although it was mostly the credit of my sister who treated it as a game, it's good that she also contributed a bit. At least she built the initial framework of the civilization, which was a huge contribution!"
"Don't worry, after she finishes the semester and has summer vacation, she will have time to play, cough cough cough! I mean, she will have time to revive and continue to accompany you." She almost let the cat out of the bag as she spoke, but fortunately she changed her words in time.
"Hmm." Knowing he couldn't stay on this planet for long, the Overlord stared at the back of the girl he'd been thinking about. He took some time to ponder the god's words, then casually asked, "Which galaxy is this planet in? How come I didn't even notice it?"
"Here? This is right next to you, but it was blocked by my sister's divine power. It's normal that you can't find it." The god was in a good mood after getting what she wanted, and answered the other party's question casually. After she finished speaking, she realized that something was wrong.
"Wait, wait!" She turned her head in horror to look at the calm white-haired young man beside her. She seemed a little unbelievable that she was being tricked. No wonder her elder sister was always worried about who had cheated them. It was really hard to beat a smart guy!
She was afraid that they would go back and bomb this place with all their might, thus canceling out the divine power left by her sister. So she said seriously, "Don't do anything here, or your mother will be angry."
Knowing that her threats were useless, she had to bring out her younger sister to suppress them.
"Don't worry," the King Insect said in a calm tone, and it was impossible to tell what he was thinking at the moment. "I would never do anything to displease Mother."
You were threatening to blow up the universe not long ago... If possible, God really wants to check the blackening progress bar on your head, but unfortunately my sister is not here, so I can't see it.
After the matter was over, she was ready to take the person back. On the other side, the girl who had no idea that she was being stared at by two non-human beings for a long time also waited for the green light, wiped the sweat from her forehead caused by the sun, and walked obediently on the zebra crossing.
The starlight spread to the white-haired young man's hands, trying to swallow him up again.
Before the light completely engulfed his eyes, his pupils suddenly constricted, and the impending crisis was clearly reflected in the deep blue. He tried hard to raise his hand to release his mental power, but was restrained by the power of the gods and could not move.
He struggled desperately, trying to break free from this starlight woven by the god who created the origin of civilization. It was so soft and tough that it seemed impossible to destroy it even with all his strength.
In an instant, he used all his offensive means.
First, the gorgeous and psychedelic white wings broke free from their restraints and suddenly spread out like a butterfly shedding its shell, stirring up a gust of wind that blew the trees and lush flowers on the street toppling over and over, and the sky was filled with flying petals.
The moth's wings, with their dizzying patterns, were thick and plush, so wide that they blocked out the sun and cast a terrifying shadow on the ground.
At the same time, transparent scale powder with a strong toxicity floated in the air, reflecting all the sunlight in the area and creating a dreamlike rainbow rain.
The beautiful scenery is filled with murderous intent, which fully interprets his helplessness and despair when faced with the fate of repeating the same mistakes, as well as his desperate gamble.
But it was too late. He could only watch the previous scene unfold again before his eyes, and he was still powerless despite trying everything he could.
At first, the god thought that he wanted to change his mind and stay here, so he resisted so fiercely. She was frightened and tightly grasped the starlight in her hand. She was about to open her mouth to persuade him, but when she realized that something was wrong and stopped and turned back, it was too late.
Bang—a dull sound accompanied by a creaking sound exploded in their ears. The god turned his head and saw that his sister, who had just been walking on the road, was hit by a large truck that appeared out of nowhere. A deep blood mark was left on the concrete ground that was scorched by the sun and she fell right in front of them.
The queen insect's wings trembled and tried to spread forward. Finally, the shadow representing protection covered her.
The snacks and fruits in the bag rolled all over the floor, and the phone fell out of his pocket, spun twice in the air, and slammed to the floor with a thud. The transparent screen cracked into spider-web-like marks.
The blood under the girl's body kept spreading outwards. Perhaps she was still holding on to her breath. She raised her bleeding head, her face covered in blood, and squinted her eyes that were blurred by blood, as if she was searching for something.
Finally, she looked in the direction of the gods and the Zerg. Her lips, which were constantly bleeding, moved twice. As if possessed by some mysterious force, she raised her hand slightly and tremblingly in their direction, as if she was in the last moment of her life and was unwilling to die, and was subconsciously asking for help.
Then in the next moment, his hands fell limply, and his head also lowered, gently hitting the ground, without any sound.
God: “…”
Overlord: “…”
