Chapter 160 Red Blood Dragon
The rainy season in Southeast Asia always makes people not want to step out of the air-conditioned room. Wan Lin lay on the massage chair in Bodin Manor for a long time before sitting up lazily.
"I've been in the Golden Triangle for so long, and you're the one who knows how to enjoy life the best."
Wan Lin stood up and walked to the fish tank next to the floor-to-ceiling window and threw a few small fish in. The two red blood dragons competed to bite each other, and the water was instantly filled with blood mist.
"Boss Wan is so generous. Wouldn't it be a waste if I don't enjoy it?" Bodin came to the fish tank with a cigar in his mouth.
"That's because it's comfortable to cooperate with you. Otherwise, how can people say you are good at business?" Wan Lin turned the dagger he carried with him on his fingertips.
"You guys have been eyeing the border covetously lately, so I can't use the routes I have." Bodin frankly stated the current predicament.
Wan Lin knew that Bodin's call this time was definitely not for simple reasons. The transportation routes had been frequently wrong recently, and his booming business had been stagnant for a while, which was basically equivalent to cutting off his aorta.
"Is there no other backup route?" Wan Lin didn't believe that with Bodin's power, he would have no way out.
"Yes, there is, but now the people over there want to meet Boss Jiang." Bodin looked embarrassed.
"Wow, what a big tone! Who is he to want to see Boss Jiang?"
Without waiting for him to finish, Wan Lin stabbed the red-blood dragon that was snatching food in the water with his dagger, then stuck the tip of the knife into the fish's body, trapping another dodging red-blood dragon in a corner.
"Do you think it will eat the dead one?" Wan Lin asked Bodin while playing with the red blood dragon.
Bodin was speechless for a moment. These two fish were his favorites. Now Wan Lin had killed one of them with his own hands, and the other one was also in danger of death.
"If he's so ungrateful, I'll let what happened a few months ago happen again."
Wan Lin took out a dagger and threw the fish into Bodin's hand.
"It won't eat. You can make it an extra meal tonight."
Bodin held the fish and said he would go and negotiate with them.
Wan Lin wiped the dagger clean on Bodin's clothes and lay back on the massage chair.
Bodin used to think that Jiang Yuexing and Su Chonglin were the same kind of people, but after getting to know them for a while, he discovered that Jiang Yuexing was just a thug in elite disguise, and Wan Lin was a villain he had taught, with no rationality at all.
But you’d be a fool not to make money.
The Jiang family's offer was so high that he couldn't refuse this sure-win deal.
During dinner, Wan Lin watched Boding swallow the red blood dragon meat before he stood up and left with satisfaction. He went to Jiang Yuexing's residence, intending to report to him about Boding's situation, but found Su Chonglin there. Thinking it was bad luck, he swallowed his words and turned to leave.
"Did you go to Bodin's place today?" Jiang Yuexing called him.
"Yeah." Wan Lin looked straight ahead.
"What did he say?" Jiang Yuexing raised his chin and motioned him to sit down.
Seeing that Jiang Yuexing had no intention of avoiding Su Chonglin, Wan Lin told him Boding's request.
"What do you think?" Jiang Yuexing asked after listening to him.
"Of course I let him figure it out on his own. Is it really necessary for you to go to the Tiger School for this kind of thing?" Wan Lin said, anger burning in his eyes again.
"Well, go back." Jiang Yuexing's expression didn't change.
But Wan Lin knew that Jiang Yuexing was not happy with his actions. But why did he discuss this matter in front of Su Chonglin? Was he trying to gauge his reaction? Or was there something fishy going on?
After Wan Lin left Jiang Yuexing's residence, he returned to Boding's manor. Boding saw the big Buddha he had just sent away come back again, and he cried for help and hurried out to greet him.
"Boss Wan, what are you doing—"
"Let's go." Wan Lin interrupted Bodin, put his arm around his shoulders and carried him onto his off-road vehicle.
Bodin's followers hurriedly followed, but were stopped by Bodin.
"Where are you going, Boss Wan?" Bodin had a smile on his face, but he was terrified in his heart.
"Let's go meet the person you mentioned." Wan Lin said as he stepped on the accelerator and the car drove out like flying.
On the way here, Wan Lin sent the rough outline of his plan to Jiang Yuexing. After Jiang Yuexing agreed, he rushed over to grab Bodin as a bargaining chip. He wanted to see who was trying to block the Jiang family's way.
A middle-aged Hispanic man was entrenched at the entry route, and Wan Lin's sudden visit caught him off guard.
When the other party searched Wan Lin as usual, they found the gun and dagger on Wan Lin's body.
"Boss, I'm sorry." The other party saved all of Wan Lin's equipment.
"Bodin, is your relationship with him so bad?" Wan Lin saw that Bodin's weapon was also taken away.
"If I could handle Garcia myself, I wouldn't bother you and Boss Jiang." Bodin shrugged helplessly.
Wan Lin had mixed opinions about Bodin. After he replaced Matteo, he had been working diligently to protect the Jiang family in the Golden Triangle. However, whenever an uncontrollable incident occurred, he would step back and let Wan Lin handle it.
Wan Lin had criticized him for being a coward more than once, so he expected that he would continue to be in the front this time. However, Garcia was so ignorant that she asked Jiang Yuexing to take action, which really touched Wan Lin's trigger point.
Garcia stood in the high-ceilinged reception hall, welcoming them.
"Boss Wan is here to visit."
"Director Jiang asked me to come over and bring you something good."
Wan Lin studied Garcia. He had only heard of this man nicknamed "Cobra" before, but had never met him directly. He looked menacing and ferocious, a true stereotype of a drug lord.
"Boss Wan, you guys are in a very tense situation lately. You're at the center of the storm, so I have to be careful." Garcia asked a few girls in cool clothes to lead them to the sofa.
"No matter how strong the storm is, it won't reach you. They can't even set foot in the Golden Triangle." Wan Lin waved his hand to let the girls leave, then leaned back on the sofa and put his feet on the coffee table.
"For new partners, I always observe them for one or two years." Garcia opened a bottle of red wine himself and filled the three glasses on the table one by one.
"Hmph, one or two years?" Wan Lin glanced at him and asked with a cold snort.
"To be honest, I've fallen into a lot of trouble with you guys. You really have a lot of undercover agents, haha." Garcia raised his glass and took a sip, then handed the glass to Wan Lin and Boding.
"Undercover?" Wan Lin thought Garcia wanted to bribe him, but he didn't expect him to bring up a topic he had never thought about.
