Chapter 165 Antarctica

Chapter 165 Antarctica

The moment Zhou Cheng set foot on the Antarctic continent, a feeling of awe arose spontaneously amidst the surging emotions in his heart.

The ground beneath my feet was covered in thick snow, as if I had stepped into a secret place forgotten by time. The boundless white stretched out before my eyes, enveloping the entire world in an indescribable mystical atmosphere.

He looked around, and everywhere he looked were ancient glaciers and towering icebergs. Some unknown power seemed to be hidden beneath the distant ice, and the occasional cracking of the ice only fueled his imagination.

Several tourists stood there quietly, shocked by the unprecedented scene and forgot to speak.

"Our camp was newly built two years ago. It is full of technology. Each rest cabin is independent and has a 360-degree panoramic window. You can enjoy the scenery while lying in bed." The co-pilot broke the silence and introduced to Zhou Cheng and Su Qingyan.

"This looks like an alien base." Su Qingyan commented as he looked at the camp not far away.

The center of the camp is a large semicircular building, one-third of which is made of transparent floor-to-ceiling composite fiberglass. Radiating from the center are six independent cabins, which serve as rest rooms for tourists.

After standing for a while, Su Qingyan felt a little cold, so he pulled Zhou Cheng and walked into their "space capsule" first.

The temperature in the cabin was just right. Su Qingyan took off his thick coat and lay down on the bed.

"This space capsule is great. Let's get one when we get home and watch the Milky Way while lying in bed at night." Su Qingyan looked up at the sky above his head, which was so blue that it was distorted.

"The Milky Way... I haven't seen the Milky Way for 20 years." Zhou Cheng also lay down beside him.

"Poor little dog." Su Qingyan raised her hand and rubbed his hair.

Zhou Cheng turned over, held Su Qingyan in his arms, and immediately rubbed her back.

"Aiden said we can go see the emperor penguins today, or go to the ice cave. If our physical strength allows, we can go on a safari in the truck." Su Qingyan began to explain to Zhou Cheng the information he had just received from the co-pilot.

"The degree of freedom is quite high." Zhou Cheng sighed in his heart that it was great to be rich. There are many tourists coming to Antarctica every year, but only a few can check in at the South Pole. Now they can not only set foot on the South Pole, but also have several days to gallop freely on the Antarctic continent.

"I tried my best to please Dr. Zhou."

Su Qingyan put her ear to Zhou Cheng's left chest, listening to his strong heartbeat, feeling at ease and satisfied.

After a short rest, the two of them went to find Aiden and planned to go see the emperor penguins first. The other two groups also tacitly chose this activity.

Zhou Cheng felt a little awkward as he looked at the people who had just separated and gathered together again. He was completely different from Su Qingyan, and deep down he was still very resistant to group activities.

"We will act alone tomorrow. Let's get familiar with them on the first day. After all, we will be together for several days." Su Qingyan whispered in Zhou Cheng's ear.

Zhou Cheng didn't want to get familiar with them at all. He didn't want to waste any energy socializing with these passers-by in his life.

But Su Qingyan didn't think so.

After watching the emperor penguins together, he accepted the Italian couple's invitation to visit their castle, and even became a business partner with the star's second generation.

Zhou Cheng felt tired just looking at him. Didn’t they come out to travel and relax? Why was he socializing everywhere he went?

"What's wrong with you?" On the way back, Su Qingyan looked at the photos and videos Aiden took of them on his SLR camera.

"Aren't you tired?" Zhou Cheng looked at Su Qingyan's nose, which had turned a little red from the cold.

"Are you tired? Did I suck you dry?" Su Qingyan said teasingly.

"Shh..." Zhou Cheng quickly muted him.

"It's okay, they don't understand Chinese." Su Qingyan continued to look down at the photos. "These are all beautiful. Aiden's photography skills, is he a professional photographer?"

Zhou Cheng listened quietly to Su Qingyan's mumbling. After arriving at the South Pole, he even had an illusion that it was him instead of himself who had been wanting to come.

After returning to the camp, Su Qingyan went to the common room to discuss the next itinerary with Aiden. Not long after, he returned to their own room to report to Zhou Cheng.

"Take a break. Aren't you tired?" Zhou Cheng looked at him busy like a top and asked him to sit down first.

"Not tired, not tired. Just listen to me first. Tomorrow we will go out to sea in a speedboat. Aiden said that if we are lucky we can see whales. The day after tomorrow we will go to the ice cave and ice tunnel, and the day after that we will fly to the South Pole and go snowmobiling there." Su Qingyan sat cross-legged on the bed and told Zhou Cheng everything like he knew everything.

Zhou Cheng's heart was filled with Su Qingyan. Looking at his rosy lips opening and closing, he kissed him without thinking much.

"Do you want to replenish my energy?" Su Qingyan glanced outside the floor-to-ceiling window at the guides who were adjusting various equipment on the snow.

"You can't see it outside." Zhou Cheng clamped Su Qingyan's chin to stop him from being distracted.

"I want them to see it." Su Qingyan said to Zhou Cheng with a smile on her face.

"If you keep talking nonsense, I'll spank you."

The camp has complete supporting facilities. Although it is not as luxurious as a five-star hotel, it is one of the best camps in Antarctica.

Due to the influence of the polar day, at night, the floor-to-ceiling windows automatically switch to blackout mode, allowing tourists resting inside to have a normal night as usual.

The next morning, Su Qingyan opened his eyes dazzled by the not-so-soft light.

"What time is it?" he muttered to Zhou Cheng.

Zhou Cheng was still half asleep. He was suddenly sobered by Su Qingyan's question, thinking he had forgotten to set the alarm and overslept. He hurriedly reached for his phone and saw it was only 6 o'clock.

"I forgot to turn off the sunrise mode yesterday..." Su Qingyan turned over and buried his face in the pillow.

Zhou Cheng reached out and tapped the head of the bed, and the glass wall darkened again.

Su Qingyan fell asleep quickly, but Zhou Cheng was disturbed by the interlude and couldn't continue sleeping. He simply got up, washed up, and went to the common room.

"Good morning." Lucas greeted Zhou Cheng with sleepy eyes while standing next to the coffee machine.

Zhou Cheng didn't expect someone to get up so early, so he nodded to him.

Because Su Qingyan had told him before how famous this second-generation star's father was in Hollywood, he did some searching and found that he had actually seen several of his movies. He just didn't expect that his son was already in his 20s.

Su Qingyan then gossiped with him again. This actor rose to fame at a young age, and at 17, he had this illegitimate child. The child's mother has never made the matter public. Although his career is booming, he has never remarried or had children. This illegitimate child is also well protected and not exposed to the public too much. However, from the few photos that can be seen, one can see that he has inherited his father's handsomeness, and even surpasses him.

Su Qingyan knew him because Lucas did not inherit his father's legacy, but instead made his mark in the business world.

Zhou Cheng didn't want to talk too much with Lucas, so he took out two cans of milk from the refrigerator and left the lounge.
